- Russia has flaunted its deadly nuclear-capable Sarmat missile amid soaring tensions with the West over the war in Ukraine. Vladimir Putin’s space chief Dmitry Rogozin was pictured with the tarpaulin-wrapped Intercontinental Ballistic Missile in a forest. Rogozin said on Telegram the “world’s most powerful global-range nuclear-tipped missile is being prepared for new tests and serial production”. Watch the video to know more.

Even thinking about nukes is insanity no one will fare well
Exactly. Nukes should not be in ANYONES hands. I’m American and I’ve always felt this way. I don’t think this way because of the threat of Russia or North Korea or Iran, etc. I simply do not think ANY country should possess weapons which are capable of such destruction. We should not even take the chances of possessing them, even if they are stationary, something could always go wrong, or a country might get a false alarm that leads them to believe that their enemies have launched their nukes at them, and may react with a counterattack of their own, only to find out that it was a false read, but by then it’s too late. We shouldn’t have weapons that are capable of literally destroying our entire planet and rendering our species extinct. I don’t see the point in nukes… if 2 nuclear powers are at war, no one wins.. both sides destroy each other (mutual ensured destruction) and all other countries will be collateral damage and everyone dies, all because our “leaders” can’t get along and constantly insist on having pissing matches. Why do we allow our governments to subject us to this sh!t? None of us want war.. why should I have anything against people I don’t even know, who live across the planet?! They convince us that this country or that country is our enemy, and we just blindly go along with it and send kids to fight wars and die, all to satisfy the agendas of our “leaders”. I wish we would all take a stand and realize we are not enemies, and refuse to kill one another over literally nothing! To feed the greed of the rich and powerful? Times are getting pretty scary.. we are going to self destruct and destroy ourselves.

Both the U.S. and Russia are in the process of replacing their current nuclear ICBM's which are many decades old and safety, reliability are of concern.
Note all ICBM's are hypersonic with mach 18 to 20 on reentry. The liquid fuel is strange as they are more at risk of catastrophic failure from the git go and take time to fuel before launching. There's other issues with liquid fuel as well.
People should go look up Dmitry Rogozin (Дмитрий Рогозин) - head of the Russian space industry Roscomos. He was a head speaker at a neo-nazi rally in Moscow in 2007. So perhaps Russia should do some de-nazification of their own leadership before pointing fingers elsewhere.

The way I understand "capable of carrying weapons weighing more than 200 tons" means including conventional warheads. This could serve as an answer to HIMARS aswell IMO
only problem is that Russia made it's very first test firing of this missile back in April this year, so the missile is yet another Putin bluff. Russia do not have these missiles as of yet, at least not more than a few test-models, that they most surely will not use neither using nukes or conventional warheads, because not properly tested, the chance are they will blow up on the spot or land somewhere in Russia itself.
