Trim guy: But boss I'm only doing a couple rooms.

My 6.5 circ and my nailers have failed and been mailed back to milwaukee after a few months of use. I gave it a shot and absolutely loved it. I was able to purchase then16 and 18 gauge gun, 2 high capacity 5.0 batteries with charger along with a ton of nails for the same price as the Milwaukee tool only gun. What really sold me was the fact that the rybobby nailer was rated higher and beat the Milwaukee nailer in every test. It sucks because I own a ton of M 18 and M 12 tools and Only those two Ryobi guns which is a hassle to charge something different but I have been very happy with my purchase. • @zeljomirtanackovic1529

Just advice you want to dial down on the depth set for driving nails, as you see your holes are wide which indicates you nail driver is actually going all the way in the wood, if you dial down on depth you get only nice and square nail holes.

I never liked the rev up or the size of the Dewalt nailers. They're noisy and bulky. I do like the Milwaulkee's Been wanting a battery nailer so I can quit dragging around a compressor. Especially for small in and out jobs. This is going on my wish list!

one thing i noticed on that nailer is how big of a print (nail hole) it leaves, it almost looks as big as a staple, perhaps the driver is a very wide one, imagine if youre shooting onto prefinished, dark hardwoods and you have to putty .

I am a big fan of Milwaukee tools. So when that gun was first released I bought the Generation 1, replacing my Ryobi brad nailer. But the Gen 1 was a total failure. And from everthing I hear Milwaukee corrected all the Gen 1 faults and now have a first rate gun. I so much would like to get the Gen 2 but just can't justify the cost this soon to replace a major tool.
It would be good of Milwaukee if they were to offer some help in the upgrade the Gen 2 for their loyal customers.

    Hi,
I also used the 20v DeWalt 18g brad nailer and it's great. The only things was the Rev up noise was getting to me working indoors.
I picked up this milwaukee brad nailer 1 week ago and this tools work great. Man it's nice not to hear that rev noise. So i decided to sell my DeWalt 20v 18g brad nailer.
I hope DeWalt redesign that motor soon. I can see that Dewalt slimmer and light weight. Then it will be another awsome tool to have.

It was the only thing around back then(craftsman made one but it was laughable) boy did it beat having to air up and haul a compressor from house to house. This new gen looks amazing, can't wait to see what comes next. A cordless 23g finish nailer?

Absolutely jump in. It's so hard to articulate how nice it is to just grab a nailer and get to work. No hoses dragging or trying to find power for the compressor... and then you make a cut and your compressor kicks on and the circuit breaker flips because they only ever put one outlet in an entire house for new construction....

You need to adjust the depth setting on that gun, though. The driver is set too deep. Hence the horizontal hole across the head of the nail. When adjusted properly, the driver should not penetrate the surface, only the head of the nail.
