Id honestly like to see a winter themed abrams
Oh yes, one of those from a few years ago with whitewash stripes on the sides
TbH western kits are boring. Russian weapons remains favourite
@@JASHVEER22 well to be fair thats why i called for the winter camouflage one cause winter camouflage abrams tanks look interesting compared to the rest of most western tanks
Find the older tamiya ipm1 kit with the 105. Old school merdc camo with white wash over it. A plus is the camo can be brush painted.
@@NightShiftScaleModels sounds like we'll be getting another winter camo build? I'm already starting to get excited!
Says he’s the slowest model maker. Is already done with over a thousand part model.
Me spending 4 weeks using all of my time after school and in the evenings to build my StuG: “Alrighty, I should be done the photo etch in a few days!”
Uncle Night Shift after 16 days: “Okay everybody, we finished building the 1300 piece kit, as well as all of the painting and weathering.”
I'm really surprised how fast this model came together! That new way of painting really is more efficient, huh?
Also being locked inside for weeks helps... like, a lot 😄
@@NightShiftScaleModels Dear Uncle Night shift , I have developed techniques that I would like to
share with the modeling world , I don't have the time to do a CZcams channel , would like to share with you so you could show ,
where can i get that pant set up
saw you have a whole video
@@madmacstx pants??? hehehehe.
Handy tip - spray superglue accelerator into an empty lid and then apply it locally with a brush.
Fantastic work Nightshift, you raise the bar every video. One day, I'd love to see a Maschienen Krieger on your channel. Your take on a Falke/Griffon would be next level.
This thing could pass for a movie prop! Superb!
Have you ever thought of building an aircraft. The tank looks amazing
Not really, I only like things that crawl on the ground :)
@@NightShiftScaleModels what about a helicopter? like a heavy weathered one (for example from the Vietnam War)? Helis are kind of "in between"
@@mi3ciuu99 he's never done helicopters or planes before. The most different he's done were boats. I dont think he ever will either.
Guitar strings!!! The best and quickest antenna's!!! They come in different sizes ( notes ) and look very convincing. Yes, I watched all the parts of this outstanding build!!!!! Great job......
Like the 4-Part Series. Gives us more time to watch your actual techniques. Well done. Thank you.
Im pretty sure this is my favorite model that uve built on youtube so far, Martin. Epic!
I watched the entire series and saved it. I tend to agree that we should let the paint do the work for us.
I watch all of the Nightshift videos for Martin's stunning modelling and painting and I haven't built a model in nearly 50 years!
Outstanding work with a keen eye for detail - Your powers of observation are second to none and you would have made a first class photographer/cinematographer.
Best time of the week 👍🏻
Thank you , Uncle Martin .
Very high quality assembled and painted model!
Model building in another world ..... perfect 👏🏻
My favorite channel on all CZcams....so far
I watched the whole build 😄 and bought my first model in 27 years two weeks ago. Thank you for motivating and peeking my interest in the hobby once again. 👍🏼
Lil tip for antennas - drill hole in the base (0,5-1 mm is enough) with fine drill, then its much easier to glue them...
IMO the way you did this kit is good....result=absolutley stunning....very realistic ....love it
I watched all four parts of this tutorial and you are by far one of the best modelers I've seen on CZcams in my opinion. Your unique skills have inspired me to go all out with my Jagdtiger. I have a diorama in mind that involves a FAMO & Sd.Anh.116 trying to pull the Jagdtiger out of a ditch while the commander on top is yelling at everyone to hurry there are several Sherman's coming their way. Figure painting oooh nooo!
This is amazing! I think the end result doesn't betray the time saving measures you took. I watched all four parts and thought all the detail and b-roll was well done without getting bogged down in too many details.
I like building these more obscure vehicles, they’re very fun to build and paint
The BMR looks great! On attaching antennas with CA, I saw one trick: you put a drop of CA onto contact point, soak end of the antenna into accelerator, and just attach.
Your videos are top notch mainly because of 2 reasons - firstly you are a phantastic modeller of course - I love watching your brushwork, especially some freehand numbers... and secondly your camera and videowork are excellent - pictures are sharp to the edge and the lighting is very good! So it is a pleasure to follow your work step by step. Take care mate and thank you for sharing! Cheers!
So much green, and yet it totally works! Awesome series, love the pace, detail and information. Thanks for all the hard work!
Regarding accelerator overspray, try transferring accelerator to an injector bottle with a droplet needle tip, so you can precisely control the liquid. Also reduces accelerator waste.
Besides the fact that this method is indeed very fast and practical, I must say that the result is really stunning, even more than previous works! It is amazing what how much variaty you got with a single colour and the mud effects look super realistic, while feeling different than the classical approach
Watched all 4, and it looks beautiful.
loved it, I think it is one of your most realistic looking models.
No words, only emotions. Bravo, Maestro !!!
Dear Martin, Outstanding workmanship! I always fully watch your tutorials, my Friday night treat to myself.
Looks amazing. Really like this paint technique, and can't believe how quickly this one got built and completed. Looks fantastic.
Thanks Uncle for giving me the motivation to finally return to the modelling bench. It’s been three years since last I completed a kit. I hope it will look even remotely as good as yours. Thank you for you content. Look forward already to the next one.
So inspiring. One of my favorites!
Need to re watch but I am enjoying this. I can't spend near as much time as you on a model. Kids and such. So faster ways for effects is amazing for me.
Well done! The finish is perfect!
AMAZING job!! Love it!!
Stunning work!
I cant even!!! I think this time you really have out done your self on this one!! I thought the Jagdtinger was something but this is awesome! i just love the mud weathering! Im definitely going to try some of this when my Jagdpanther turns up! Just awesome!! Much love dude!
Oh wow, that's one stunning build!!!!! 👍👍👌👌
Another great model - thank you.
Tony
Looks amazing
Looks awesome! Another great build!
I love to see german ww2 tanks from night shift.. and I would love to see a paper panzer with figures from him! Imagine what he can do with his skills and how cool it would look . Like what wilder did with that e-50. I'm sure night shift s paper panzer with crew and vingette would be amazing!
Great set of videos, fantastic build.
This is art! Great!
Another wonderful job. By far my favorite CZcams channel. Super excited to see what's next.
What a gorgeous outcome. Can't wait for the next one with the improved techniques. Keep up the great work.
To get the tracks under the skirt after weathering, tie a leader string to the track and feed that thru the pull the track thru.
Another beautiful job Martin.
Martin, This paint job above all others you've done has been very informative and inspiring. Thank you for taking the time to do it. I have purchased some of the products you've mentioned to try my hand. I've got my own tried and trued methods of doing mud but I'm always down to learn something new! -Ken
Totally stunning
Awesome work as usual!
Awesome as usual!!!!!
Superb! I think you've proven that the expedited paint/weathering techniques are legit.
As always, thank you for sharing.
Steve
for the grass on the tracks, perhaps you could use the Vallejo effect products "crushed grass" and mud and "mud and grass". the crushed grass has the same texture as the sea-grass used here but has a much easier time sticking to the model. The only issue is that it is a green colour so it would have to be potentially painted over with brownish tones.
Either way, another excellent video and an inspiration for us all. Can't wait to see what's next!
Amazing as always.
Absolutely top notch
As usual you have made magic again and I am in awe of your ability. Hats off Martin you are a true artist and a supreme modeler...
Great work!
Learning so Much!! THANKS
Excellent work! Looks fantastic
You did a amazing job uncle nightshift. I love your videos i learn a lot of new things to apply on my kits.
love your approach, love your builds , love your budget with all the mirade of weathering products you use
The best artists can make speed-paintings look complete, this is sort of the equivalent, I guess. The amount of detail is incredible, looks very authentic, the result speaks for itself. I am very much enjoying watching parts of your workflow!
as always, an awesome work !!!
As always excellent!
Love the contrast between overall vehicle and mine rollers! Amazing looking model!
About all this kit build - something new (huge NEW) for weathering world. I will try this idea of preweathering too, I like the idea under it! Cheers
Watched all 4 videos and I think you have found a new way to build and paint a model. Can't wait to see what is next
great job, beautiful kit you got a finish that makes the model look real, congratulations.
Wonderfully made model! Watched all episodes, enjoyed every one. Amazing from start to finish!
Superb result, by far my favorite modelling channel on CZcams. Love to see you do a T-55, for no other reason than I'm having a go at the Tamiya 1/48 at the moment...
Remarkable work uncle Night Shift! I did watch the 4 series your work is stellar !!!! Keep bringing the hits!!
Great series. Really looking fwd to following how you evolve the new techniques.
Once again, another phenomenal job done. Perhaps a build/tutorial done with only the tools a beginner might have. No airbrush, minimal paints, etc. Could make for an interesting video and be quite inspiring to those new to the hobby.
Enjoyed watching this build come together, Some interesting techniques. Glad it came out well for you
Another masterpiece...Looks awesome!
Regarding the sea grass not sticking, perhaps you could mix it into the textured mud mix to act as a glue? Then you can be a bit more precise with what stays stuck on? Lovely model!
another amazing model!
Fantastic work!
Outstanding job there my friend love the weathering top job stay safe 👍🙏
Love it a perfect reward for me to come back to after painting, a Sherman tank using your destressing method.
Enjoy your work, your skills and specially your comments, make your channell really nice to watch and listen, list the Weekend show you dont want to miss because the presenter is awesome!
This model is amazing, I have to give a try to this new techniques
Another great presentation. Impressive my friend
Yay! Lunchtime!!!!
I'll try exactly the same for my btm3
Friday evening is my favourite time! Look forward to your videos!
Excellent comrade. Mother Russia is proud of you !!!
It looks awesome, your a pro buddy!
MARTINN!!!!1!! Beautiful. As always. Everything you touch turns to absolute gold
Love this build! Cant wait for the next.
This is an amazing model and the way it was painted is very interesting. It looks just as good as your other models. While this technique is revolutionary it is difficult to achieve for those of us without an airbrush. Could you try building a model without an airbrush? I know it’s not your usual style but it could be interesting. I love your channel!
It could be an interesting challenge for sure!
Legend
Watched the whole series today. After watching just a few videos from you I'm already gearing up to start on a model. I'm thinking a Panzer IV to start with.
This subject turned out to be an amazing example of the modeller’s art Uncle. I really enjoyed this series, and as usual, you excelled yourself in the weathering aspect of the finish. I am not sure I would undertake a build of 1000+ parts, and still have the steam to paint it, let alone finish it to this level (even if I could). No matter what subject you chose to build, we all learn something new on Fridays (or Saturday here). Looking forward to the next one.
Cheers from Australia!
as expected from you its amazing
thats look so cool! thx for vids
It looks great I can't wait to see what comes next
