WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but I have been moving and living in different countries due to the nature of my work. I’ve lived in countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

Nice reaction. On his channel there is a short musical "CANDY (Long Version)" for which he designed the costumes. Loic is really creative and talented. I agree with you: He needs to be world-famous. Btw the last t in Nottet is silent. So his last name is pronounced: Notteh

The lyrics of Mr/Mme are brutal. Definitely a great song and I like that Loïc finally released a song in his mother tongue French.
There's actually a video of him singing Chandelier (he's practicing in a gym or something and isn't aware that he is being filmed until the very end).
It's a very short clip with a lot of acoustics though because of the location it was being filmed at/in but definitely worth watching.
He also has a very high pitched speaking voice which is actually quite adorable.
Especially when he talks in English.
I think French is his native language.

Probably because he's very humble and doesn't at all push for self-promotion. Despite this, he is getting more and more noticed and I expect him to become famous worldwide soon.
