Here’s a list of all the metal credit cards used in the video ranked by weight from lightest to heaviest!
    1. Wells Fargo Propel American Express Card: 10g
    2. Citi AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard: 12g
    3. Chase Sapphire Preferred: 12g
    4. Ritz-Carlton Rewards credit card (new): 12g
    5. Chase Sapphire Reserve: 13g
    6. Amex Gold Card (without contactless): 14g
    7. Amex Gold Card (with contactless): 15g
    8. US Bank Altitude Reserve: 17g
    9. Amex Platinum Card (with contactless): 18g
    10. Amex Platinum Card (without contactless): 20g
    11: Ritz-Carlton Rewards credit card (old): 28g
The majority of these metal credit cards are also some of the best travel credit cards.
However, a few of them also function well as cash back credit cards.
Here’s a quick rundown of their best uses:
    - Wells Fargo Propel: One of the best cash back credit cards with no annual fee.
    - Citi AAdvantage Executive: Best credit card for frequent fliers on American Airlines who want elite perks like priority boarding, priority check-in, priority security, and Admirals Club access (a nice way to get these benefits if you didn’t qualify for elite status). Annual fee = $450.
    - Chase Sapphire Preferred (CSP): One of the best travel credit cards for beginners. Part of what makes it so great is the ability to transfer your Ultimate Rewards points to other travel programs like Hyatt, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and more. Annual fee = $95.
    - Ritz-Carlton Rewards credit card: Fantastic card for Marriott loyalists with elite perks like Gold Elite status for room upgrades & late checkout, as well as club-level upgrades and an annual free night certificate (up to 50,000 points / Category 6 property)
    - Chase Sapphire Reserve (CSR): One of the best travel credit cards ever made. It’s the ‘big brother’ to the CSP, earns more points, offers a higher value for portal redemptions, the same transfer partners, and airport lounge access via Priority Pass.
    - Amex Gold Card: Awesome credit card for travel by transferring your points to international airlines and a few hotel rewards programs. What I love about this card is the ability to earn quickly in two major everyday categories (4X points at restaurants / dining and 4X points at U.S. supermarkets). The points should only be used for cash back with the Charles Schwab Platinum Card.
    - US Bank Altitude Reserve: If I could only have 1 premium credit card, this would probably be it! It earns 3X points on all mobile wallet transactions, so it doesn’t matter what type of merchant you’re shopping at…as long as they accept Apple Pay / Android Pay and the like, you’re earning 3X (equivalent to 3% cash back or 4.5% return when redeemed for travel).
    - Amex Platinum Card: Best travel credit card for lounge access (Centurion Lounge, Delta SkyClub, Priority Pass, Escape Lounge, and AirSpace lounge networks) and elite perks (Gold Elite Status with Marriott hotels & Hilton hotels, and a few rental car companies).
If you’d like to learn about the rewards, perks, and benefits of these metal credit cards (and others), then be sure to subscribe to this channel for upcoming, in-depth credit card reviews!
A lot of credit cards help you travel for free while others put a lot of cash back in your pocket.
Either way, it’s important to find the ones that work best for you!

    • @MarkReese
      @MarkReese  Před 3 lety +4

That's right - I've been doing this for ~ 6 years. Overall I've found Amex to be the best to work with re: inquiries. They often stop doing hard pulls after you're a cardholder, relying instead upon the info they already have on you + a soft pull I imagine. At one point I had opened about 10 cards in 1 year, and still got approvals from Amex.
