These videos are meant to be educational but also funny, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
    0:00 Intro
0:05 As mentioned in the video. Salesman crashed the owners new car. Did not get any more info about this clip, but I'm thinking somebody probably got fired.
0:33 Vehicle missing serpentine belt. So the battery wasn't charging.
0:56 As described in video. Vehicle simply just came in for a oil change but needs a lot more!
1:23 Vehicle came in for an alignment with pretty worn tires on the rear.
1:33 Not low on horn fluid lol, just a bad positive battery cable. Mechanic replaced it and it fixed the issue.
1:51 A subscriber saw this car's very worn tire that he was parked beside at his work.
1:57 Not sure on the exact issue with this one to cause this, but if anybody has any idea, please let us know in the comments.
2:05 As described in the video. Quite the wiring job also... lol. I believe this was on a Toyota RAV4.
2:42 As mentioned, collapsed lifters. Seems to be a common thing on some GM engines.
2:52 A very broken transfer-case. From what I can see it looks like the front driveshaft said bye bye and took out the transfer case and some wiring with it. They didn't mention what kind of vehicle but looks like a Dodge RAM 2500/3500.
3:06 A very broken strut, wow lol.
3:15 As described in video. Tie rods aren't good for towing/pulling. On Kia's the outer tie rods do have a curve to them, but shouldn't be as curbed/bent like the drivers side.
3:32 As described in video. A good reason why rental cars aren't the best to buy sometimes.
    3:58 Outro. Thanks for watching!

The amount of mechanic's and sales people that thrash your car is huge. A friend of mine hooked up a hidden camera in his car because he thought something wasn't right when he would pick up his car after a service. It would have a extra 5kms on it. What he saw and heard shouldn't surprise anyone. They were thrashing the shit out of it. Laughing and carrying on.
I don't know what he did but I believe the people involved lost their job and they settled out of court.

The "incident" with that new Charger reminds me of an article I just read before this video about an owner of a 2021 Corvette who brought the car in for a repair involving a ticking in the engine (turned out to be a loose spark plug - GM quality!). When he got the car back the computer valet mode showed that someone drove the car at 148 mph! The dealer gave him a brand new 2022 Corvette, with the dealer eating all the costs.

    • @craig2963

The salesman that crashed the Hellcat is the reason why if I ever bought a brand new sports car, I would order it and watch it come off the truck instead of buying one on the lot with 10 or 12 miles on it. These idiots and anyone who test drives them go full trottle on a brand new engine without breaking them in which can cause permanent damage and premature engine wear.

0:34. I work at a Benz dealer. I had a car come in like this, but it came in with the RO stating "Replace battery." Battery warning light was on and the customer just wanted it replaced. Come to find that the battery was good, and the scanner is detecting no voltage from the alternator as it was running. Okay, went to look at the alternator and the belt fell off. I did not expect that at all lol. There was a document for alternators being installed at the wrong angle on M274 engines, causing the belt to just fall off. Followed the document to realign the alternator and replaced the belt because it got damaged. Drove it and revved the hell out of it making sure the belt doesn't fly off again. It didn't!

He's learned NOT to ask what they did, so he just shows them and tells them an estimate to repair and/or what is likely to happen if they refuse the repair. He got into an accident and did a fair amount of damage to the car. The dealership wanted to fix the car but Dad insisted they replace it. They refused and again offered to repair it. Dad called a local TV station who intervened. The dealership then offered him a new ‘78 Cutlass at the same price The ‘78 was a smaller car than the ‘77, so he refused the offer. Not sure the garage believed it but turned out the wiring loom went too close to the handbrake mechanism and it had chafed through! Another car (same make and model) you couldn't stop the rear wiper from working - I traced it to the tailgate loom and all the wire insulation had gone brittle and flaked off shorting the circuit to live.

So many fun things to screw with people. When I was in the Army we got a new Bradley Hull Mechanic...set him to work with a piece of chalk and a ball-peen hammer to find soft spots in the armor. Good news! He found a few! Lucky for us!
We also had a new Motor Pool Sargeant who, when ordering some mundane part, typo'd the PN....6 weeks later we were delivered a shiny new UH-60 Blackhawk. Unfortunately we had no pilots nor an airfield. That one still blows my mind, for a number of reasons.

Something like this would be totalled and sent to auction to have a salvage title placed on it, for a quality body shop to long term repair it, maybe they can get Arthur Tussik to fix it and make it look like new again...

I was a salesman at a Ford dealership and had a customer come in and have us do a locate deal on a stage 3 roush mustang. The nearest one was about 250 miles away and the dealership was willing to do a trade for one of the vehicles we had plus a little bit of extra moolah. I went down there picked up the vehicle and drove it back to our dealership. The next day the customer came in to pick up the vehicle and wanted to test drive it first. I asked him if he had ever driven a vehicle with this much horsepower. Of course he said "oh yeah I've done it a bunch of times. I built a Toyota Supra with 1200 horsepower and it was my daily driver." We usually did not let customers drive cars like this until the paperwork is all filled out for obvious reasons. However we made an exception for him because he was very convincing about the fact that he have driven a lot of powerful cars. We get out on the highway at a spot where the speed limit goes from 45 mph to 60 mph and he decides to press the pedal to the floor. Needless to say we crashed and he ruined a $60,000 mustang and his pants. Every airbag went off but we were mostly unhurt just a little shook up. This car was about 700 hp to the wheels. He then says that he shouldn't be responsible for it because the car was "too powerful for anyone to control."
