I still remember that when he did 2 videos a day, his first upload was around 12pm and his next one was around 3pm
Edit: work what's best for you, but i love the fact that Jack made 2 videos a day every day for 5-6 years and Gigguk before japan was like, I have a video idea, works several weeks into a video, then uploads as frequently as there are updates for Halo Infinite. The duality of man is a mysterious thing

This is why I never get people who think youtube is an easy job. Yeah, it might be more rewarding and easier than other jobs, but if you add the mental health issues that always accompany a job like this, it kind of evens it out. A lot of hard work went into it to get the sort of success Jack has now, and it's really admirable.
There's definitely an advantage to having a weekly schedule, but that could be always uploading once on the same day or time or it could be as many days as you feel and change week-to-week. The most important thing is having _some_ plan of consistency.

I think sometimes youtubers and other people who work in social media forget that taking breaks is super important. In normal jobs most people have at least one or two days off a week and are still tired, so a constand grind really wears down at your soul. Be kind to yourself! People will still be there when you come back ❤

It feels like if I want to play a game for a substantial amount of time, I should just be streaming.
Like, I get that I should just be having fun, and I am, but I also want to grow and I want people to notice me and it becomes so much harder to figure out how to get people to even give me a chance.

Jack, Mark and PewDiePie were the big fucking 3 during my period of getting into watching CZcams.
Not like my personal watches, but just felt like they were the 3 main characters of CZcams at the time.
And you can tell over the years, all of them went from ASUDHSAOHDASIFBUSDI to much more calm and funnily enough as I grew up aswell, that more calm more natural stuff feels way more appealing than most of the content they previously did. Like I wouldn't really watch PewDiePie's videos of Happy Wheels in 2022. I can look back on videos like that fondly, but not the same.
