I use an X360 controller for most of my sidescrollers and racing games. Have fun playing any racing game with four buttons.

PC is better for FPS because you can be a lot more precise with the mouse over a controller. Therefore, PC is better.
Consoles are better for racing games for sure though. But PC is better at shooters/fighting games.

BunlickPlays I play on PC but I use a controller, it just feels better in my opinion.
Maybe people like controllers better, but they want a PC so they can go on Skype, the internet, youtube, facebook and twitter and do all the stuff you do on a PC. But people want to play games too but they don't like PC controls and prefer controllers more. And they don't have the money to buy a PC AND a console. So they buy a PC, so they can do everything you can do on a PC, then they buy a controller so they can play games as if it were a console.
So my opinion, PC is better because you can make it a console just by hooking a controller up.
and in other games (if you are that used to controllers) you can choose to switch as pc gives you lots of choices

Scufs have actually been around for a quite a while, but i guess you really wouldn't have heard about them if you weren't somewhat into the COD eSports scene.
Those would be great for racing games. I do the claw style on my PlayStation controller for using the E-Brake, which is typically Circle. Using these on the PS4 controller would be amazing for using those rear buttons for my E-Brake for drifting.
Nice video! The other problem with claw is that its not a natural position for your hnd and fingers, so have fun playing with arthritis and carpal tunnel.

edit: $400 Pc (not $200) , and in most games I run around 60 fps (over 100fps on CSGO and Tf2.)
+Ranch Park those get easily outdated and you will find yourself spending more money than a Xbox 1 or ps4 with a 5 terabyte external or internal hard drive depending on the system.

I love the way they look, but the Scuff buttons are redundant for me. I actually play using the claw grip style.
Jondan Rothfus I play claw and I use the paddles as well. Once you have the controller for long enough your playstyle adapts and you gain the ability to do some crazy shit.
chrisbaseball3 Hmm, that's interesting. I feel comfortable and confident with hitting the ABXY buttons without using my thumb/introducing lag. The times where the paddles would be better for me is when a function(s) is mapped out on the d-pad.
The thing with the paddles vs. claw, is you can hit more than one of the ABXY buttons at the same time easily. Where as hitting multiple of them with just your index finger can be a pain sometimes.

Hori made a PS4 controller also compatible with PS3 that I'd love for you to review. It has an Xbox analog stick layout which I personally prefer. It's perfect for anyone who transitioned from the 360 to the PS4. Considering they were the most popular consoles of their respective generations , I bet it is a very large % of current PS4 owners. It also includes some really interesting additional features geared toward fps games that you can't even find on scuff controllers. It's called the Horipad fps plus and is perfect for lets say someone who transitioned from Halo on Xbox to Destiny on PS4 or even Call of Duty for that matter. Please review, I mean considering you already reviewed both Scuff and Hori now.
So I watched this video a couple of years ago when it came out, and I decided that I really wanted one of these controllers. Fast forward a year, and I'm picking out a design and features that I'd like included. It gets here, I'm ecstatic, and I'm having a blast playing Destiny! Flash forward to today, and I see this video again. Unbeknownst to me, I unconsciously got the exact same design as the Scuf in the video! *plays X-Files theme song*

So are the bumper buttons still made of the same garbage plastic though? Just from experience, I've gone through two controllers. i have never thrown them nor abused them but wear and tear have broken the same RB button on the controller... I have since taken it apart and found that the button it incredibly awkward and ONLY made of plastic... I shouldn't need to replace a controller once every 4 months, so are these controllers the same?

Using a controller is better for me.. There's no point in using a keyboard for videogames. And I've played a lot of games on PC but using a controller is more comfortable and feels better.
You can use a keyboard an mouse on the PS4, i'm not too sure about the X-Box One though.

On the camo controller the thumb sticks are taller. It gives you a more precise aim, and the red controller has the dome tops cause that gives you a better aim too but there not taller. Im also pretty sure the buttons light up on the camo right. (Should of turned it on)

***** Next gen refers to the quality and graphical improvements. Not the fucking frame rate. That said, human eyes can't see the difference between 30-60 FPS. The only difference in 30-60 is controller delay and for shooters that's a null point.
Consoles can hit 60FPS. Fighting games require 60FPS but that's because frames actually matter in fighting games. Frames don't matter in BF or CoD.

Ryan Mills i think the button layout for the xbox vs ps4 is just personal reference, ya sure xbox is said to be better for shooters with their layout but then again the triggers on the ps4 is shorter so u get to shoot faster.

Can you have presets of the binds? For example I play rainbow six siege and I have the lean buttons bound to the buttons on the back but when I play rocket league I want different binds like b and a. Is there a way to switch between pre made presets?

keyboard and mouse is an objectively superior control method for first person shooters, in fact, controllers are so imprecise that console games have heaps of aim assist. even with that aim assist, the pros simply won't be able to keep up with each other unless they all switch to KB/M, hence why scuf won't be able to profit off these controllers past that, as mouse aim is faster.
if you prefer controllers for the reasons you stated, i ain't gonna knock it, but don't be surprised if controllers die out in first person shooters when keyboard and mouse come to consoles.

I've played FPS's with a controller for 15 years, I will take on any of you mouse and keyboard elitists. A controller might be harder at first but just like anything else, practice makes perfect.

The Xbox One control works on PC, not sure about PS4.
I doubt it for PS4, Windows only accepts xbox controllers, you have to download 3rd party software to get ps3 controllers to work.

Almost want one because my “elite” controller broke after one year. The LB popped out and The left side grip fell off from sweat and cheap adhesive and the right side is starting to go too plus my RS has a dead zone when I pull it down making it almost useless.
Scuf controller, control freak, awesome headset, awesome pc, Xbox one and 360 ps4 and PS3 and a awesome monitor. That is my dream!

At 10yrs old I was able to pick up on clawing before nines what it was or that other people did it. I’m 13 right now and I’m a competitive RB6 players and I’m able to outplay many players better than me without scuff
