You said it right, safari is an emotional connect for many ppl. Even though it lacks in many areas, the looks and road presence make it truly desirable. Also its delivery is faster unlike the other 2.

As a person who drives his own car..I am going to see the extrior & more of the interior.. Safari trumps the other cars in both departments.
4 month old SAFARI has more than 20 parts rusted. Resale reduces to half in just 2 yrs. Own a TATA vehicle to know its shortcomings.

@@pariexplorei own multiple tata cars over the years, didn't face any media fuzz like you claimed. As if xuv700 is problem free😂, tons of problems of xuv700 too, check out, 2 cases catching fire, other breakdowns, fuel pump, electronic failures, ADAS failures, one ADAS failure leading to accident, etc., Even innova hycross got complains about cheap quality interior.😂

Overall for me Innova Crysta is a best option. Because of Durability, Comfort, Engine Reliability, Milage and Service Experience as i hear .
Only problem with Hycross is cheap plastics from Maruti 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ unbelievable that Toyota is selling the top end at almost 40 lks and people are facing rattling within a year😢
Cost cutting which is unacceptable for such a great product
dont forget that innova hycross is 3 to 4 lakh expensive than safari and 700.

If you're going to be chauffeur driven then in that case go for Innova. It is going to be much more comfortable and spacious. However, if you're the one driving your own car then go for XUV 700 as it has the most powerful and torquey diesel engine. It is also more refined compared to the diesel engine of safari.
PS: I own xuv 700 diesel and it brings smile on my face every time I put my foot down the accelerator

Those who have not driven New Tata Safari can only say that XUV 700 can give best drive experience. I owe new Tata Safari and My friend has XUV700. The Safari is a different class can't be compared with XUV 700.

Very very well made comparison. To the point crisp and non partial. However I’m an Xuv 700 guy. More power than anyone and the driving modes are mind blowing
He didn't want to highlight the features of xuv700 like it is the most powerful car in its segment,it get auto booster head lamps, Adrenox app which is very useful,the pop up door handles,it can record 360 camera in case of an emergency for 12 hours,the premium seat adjustment like mercedes,intelli comand center,document storage 😊

From where I'm the price difference between the Safari and Hycross top-end is almost 5 lakhs. That was a huge factor for me going with the Safari along with its emotional connect.

Xuv 700 Diesel automatic is the best in class, very smooth and punchy engine feels like you are driving petrol sport car and handling also well.

Only thing missing was - if you are driving, hycross is very easy to maneuver in city in comparison to other two. Also hybrid is future.

Practicalilty wise- nothing beats hycross.. the boot is massive with all rows up, third row has best space.. the car is massive... I own xuv 700 and cannot travel on a weekend trip with 7 people and luggage

Mahindra should definitely increase their car size as to kill competition if there was some more space in third row and boot space definitely all will prefer xuv 700, 2nd row must have option to slide and all seats should be ventilated,after all this if this car comes under 30 lakh it will kill competition.
Toady I took test drive of safari bench seat variant and it has one touch tumbell down feature please give proper info.
Do note that we have compared only the captain seat versions of all three cars.

Tiguan is now around 37L after discount. It might lacks in features but it can outperform and out run XUV and Tata in longevity & Innova in ride quality.

I had taken the test drive of both hycross top model AT & safari....innova is so clam comfortable in driving ..second row third row both 👌 u didnt notice when it crosses 100 plus i thought i was driving it at 80 but it was at 110 🤣🙈 & safari is fun to drive u feel punch power while driving comfort is good enoughnot as calm as hycross but look more premium..🎉@@cardekho I need to choose one out of two for booking but hycross waiting is 1+ yr fr top model & safari is just 1 month max ...so now confused which to go for....& scorpio mahindra I hv so not again going fr mahindra again...test drive I enjoy power feel is there but safari & hycross seems perfect package fr this price range.

Its VX version is the most value for money variant which comes with 360 degree camera and front sensors! VX Hybrid is a much bigger car at same price of Safari!

If you are a family of 6 members to travel sure Hycross will be the option as only hycross have a decent space for luggage. Xuv has less boot space and safari is least at boot space. Without luggage how can we travel?
If captain seats is preferred then 3rd row 2 person should accommodate and cant fold seat to keep our luggages in both xuv and safari.. So if 6 member to travel with luggage only option is Hycross.!!

Safari. I used 700 for 2-3 months in Year 2022. Now, I own Safari which I just got in November of 2023. Not just comfort, it has robust build quality. I drove 2500 km in just 3 days on NE & NH.
For service after sales, I would say. It's gambling. Means, you check which is the best service center in ur city, once you find good one stick with that because not all service centers of TATA are efficient.
Both are pretty similar in terms of highway comfort. Better bonnet visibility is the Safari.
Sry by bonet visibility I mean while driving in traffic edges of car more visibile in xuv700 or safari?

One of the important aspects of buying a new car is it's after-sales experience. Please can you compare these three cars on that basis? Although, I expect Toyota will be the winner there.

I don’t understand why safari doesn’t offer a petrol engine. Nowadays going for diesel is very risky. Who knows when a new law banning diesel engines may take effect (those who think that this can’t happen just remember the pandemic and how our precious freedom went for a six). Hycross is the most reliable one but it’s more suited for chauffeur driven people and the driver space is actually depressing in it. XUV is the only complete package.

Unable to understand why tata and mahindra have not included leg support as in the case of toyota hycross hybrid
It’s simply a factor of not having enough space to do that. The leg support if extended, would cause the feet to be awkwardly bent against the front seat.
Since the Innova has more space and seat travel, the seat can be pushed back to ensure the passenger is comfortable.
