This budget has quite a few options, including the Toyota Innova Hycross, Mahindra XUV700, and Tata Safari. Mahindra has made minor changes to the XUV700’s features list, while Tata has given the Safari a comprehensive facelift, which makes this battle even more interesting. XUV is by far most satisfying to drive. I have driven all three but xuv is most responsive and fun to drive
surely but it does not feel like driving a suv,it doesn't it feels like driving a tiago the one i have, handling is lighter than Safari/Harrier
@@axe8039tiago has 200hp and 400nm torque?
No way Xuv feels better than any Tata car hands down..infact safari feels like truck
Tata should have kept it as Gravitas and made it a rival of XUV and launched another 4x4 product to compete with Scorpio N which could be named as Safari❤
After car service ??
Resale value??
Reliability???
Toyota 10/10
Agreed
nahhh hycross missed it here....toyota's engine is reliable no doubt on it but mahindra's engine is also good in reliability and the mHawk and mStallion are just beasts when it comes to performance and smoothness/refinement. Hycross interior quality is just so bad it starts rattling just after a few thousand of km. even the infotainment/ cluster of hycross have so many bugs it just randomly shuts down after 2-300km sometimes
XUV scores equally good in all these parameters.
5 year old Innova will sell for 75% of purchase price, 5 year old XUV will sell for 70% purchase price but a 5 year old tata wil struggle to sell for 50% purchase price.
@@drkalyanaramanwhat you are telling 5years old XUV with 70% of resale....😂...i think you are not in the earth 😂
@@Sourav_2k03 reliability is a thing that actually comeout after 7-8 yrs of driving the car or 1.5 lakh km of driving it.
Toyota has proved it .
Mahindra has alreday issues with XUV 700 with 2-3 yrs
This video is the best of all the comparison videos of XUV700/Hycorss/Safari! Extremely thorough as well!
Thoroughly enjoyed the 40 odd mins chat and very well summed up without any bias ....hands down, period.
Hycross may be 10 to 15% expensive but when it comes to engine, service, quality of materials etc. is the best. Most importantly Hycross will fetch almost buying price when you sell it after five or 10 years, Other two will get 20 to 50% of buying price.
Mahindra will not specially in up and bihar where suvs are skyrocket
Toyota hycross cheap quality in all areas including built quality
Indian tata and Mahindra is best for quality
Hycross has 3rd row and boat space rest is with Mahindra and Tata
Tata safari fresh and luxury look
Mahindra for performance and city driving
All cars has good resale valve
I can listen to them like this vdo whole day long. Plz bring more such content.🎉
No one will mention the cheap interiors of the Hycross & it's rattling issues. Is that due to any reason? Instrument cluster of Hycross stop working after 500kms😂. Is that the reliability all these talking about??? 😂
Yes, as we've mentioned in the video, there are enough quality gaps in the Hycross that are hard to digest especially at its asking price.
Cheap interiors, they have mentioned this in the video.. but it stop working after 500km its hard to digest bro.
@@sidhusomvanshi5315 just watch a short video about Hycross from evoindia
Very informative..would like to watch same kind of a conversation on sedan. Keep going.
Pls add warranty details of cars in reviews and comparos. Warranty is more important than features
Safari makes lot of sense to me, I have seen them on the road which dominates the other two, even Fortuner doesn’t look great next to Safari. Interior design and features are next level when compared to all 45 lakh under cars.
Safari always looked the best
TATA itself is pulling it down
The safari is the slowest and the worst handling tho
@@harshalshetty9865 which car u drive brother ....
More excited for great discussions like these
Thank you 😀
They did not talk about single unique features of Xuv 700 like Auto booster headlamps,Door handles, the adrenox app and this app is very useful as it can let us control car without our involvement in it like if in summer season due to so much heat car got heat up so Xuv700 can be controlled with its app as you can turn on Ac before you go inside of it,if you lose your key then you can use your app as a key for unlocking you can even start the engine ❤❤😊😊
But it still doesnt have an auto dimming irvm for a 30lakh rupee car 🤷🏻♂️
@sakettaparia that does not matter to me or anyone
@@sakettapariacan put a new one barely 1000 bucks
Tata has IRA too so what
@@sakettapariahycross does'nt even have basic interiors even after spending 40 lakhs
if someone spend some time back to back in crysta and hycross, it will be crystal clear to him/her that hycross is not even 50 percent of how solidly put together the crysta feels. So I doubt it will be as tough/long lasting as crysta. But I m 100 percent sure of amazing resale value that hycross will enjoy
Better than any other reviews ...... Real talk no nonsense ❤❤❤❤
Very interesting format... really insightful.
Thank you, glad you liked it!
Hello 🕺Mr. Tushar & Mr. Arun
Wonderfully executed Podcast👌🤝👍Hats 📴 to Both f U👏
I have driven all 3 of them and also own a hycross for the past one year and I can say this keep my bias aside that i only cared about infotainment features and options in its early days once you fine tune infotainment to your liking, most likely you wont even look at it ever again and that’s why i simply love the hycross.
And the biggest point for me is the drivability of the innova is superb. Its sport mode on the highway makes it a whole different car altogether and i just love driving it in ghats, highways, narrow lanes basically just everywhere!
Suspension jn hycorss is worst of 3.
Yes infotainment system is not important. The engine, ride quality is more important. I have had more fun in Alto 800 than my petrol Nexon simply because of the fun engine
Great video !
Thanks for sharing this.
Just a quick doubt, I know the segments are luxury, but any comparable difference in fuel efficiency ?
Really a great comparison
I dont understand how cabin space is not a deal breaker for XUV700.. if its 7seater then it should spaciously seat 7ppl. Otherwise compare the XUV700 with the Harrier instead. Sliding 2nd row in Safari beats XUV700 out at start itself. it makes no sense to call XUV700, ScorpioN as 7seaters when 3rd row is so cramped and 2nd row doesn't slide.
Great content and conversation. Better than many first drive reviews. Digs deep into each feature and aspect of the vehicles. ❤
You deserve much more support and audience.... really hats off to the team ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you 🙏🙏
40:04 I’m a XUV fan but whoaaaa!! 😍😍❤❤
Zig wheels kindly do video between Verna 1.5turbo vs virtus gt vs Slavia
Very well detailed review. Its a close contest between XUV and Safari in many terms but the lack of engine variants may not work well for safari. Both are great cars though.
After driving all 3 cars here is my analysis
1. Most fun to drive car- Xuv700
2. Most comfortable second row - hycross
3. Most good looking - safari
Fantastic video
After watching these comparison discussions my decision is going with Safari as it fits all of them and more than this Interiors and Exteriors look is a bonus 😍because safari has everything which XUV 700 has yeah a little bit nervous for the engine and 4 wheel drive but still going with because a brand i can trust for quality. 🙌
You guys should have included the crysta as well.
Great one👏🏼
In terms of service quality and reliability
1. Hycross
2. Xuv700
3. Safari
Both Tata and Mahindra need to improve their service and product quality. We have shown our love to Indian car makers, now it’s time for them to work on their quality and customer service.
Very informative 👍
Glad you like it!
How about the second row in 7 seat configuration for XUV and Safar, can they be moved on rails?
Safari ✅
XUV700 ❌
Zigwheels, do capability test of the Safari. Being a FWD, many people in the hills are apprehensive of buying it. This includes those who don't really plan to go offroading but need to tackle occational muddy roads and landslide damaged roads.
Indeed the best review ever ..
Mahindra=Self driven
Toyota=Chauffeur driven
Safari= mechanic driven
Correction Tata
Bro even I love to driver innova crysta hycross is more easy to drive
Mechanic driven😂😂😂
By a Fortuner owner😂. (He bought Fortuner for 60 lakhs)😂😂😊
Well said 😂😂I'll use that one
The Toyota will outlive all of them.
With those stupid interior quality & rattlings after 1000kms. Right? 😁
driving a toyota for more than 2.5 lakh kilometers and for more than 12 years still no issues.@@abhiram.b8848

Safari ❤
Safari proves to be the flagship bearer for Tata. But the fact that it didn't stay true to its legacy, pinches quite abit.
Hycross gx petrol is 20 lac ex showroom. Most practical car.
All the 3 cars are legendry
Thanks guys for a fantastic well rounded comparison video. Really helpful!
I have a quick question- Id say 95% of the time my car would be used by less than 5 people and thus im considering to get a 5 seater. What would you say about the 2024 Harrier Dark vs Safari?
I had hoped to see a minute or two on this comparison in your video. So do you guys not consider Harrier as a ‘Big Boy’? :p
Glad you liked the video! Given your use case, the Harrier seems more sensible, especially considering the Harrier has a sizeable cabin for the times you do want to seat 5.
I have a xuv500 for the last 10 years. Was looking to upgrade to xuv700, but the Safari looks tempting. What do you guys think?
Same situation for me haha
Absolutely! Go for it with 100% confidence.
Which is the easiest to drive especially for women?
so, Tata's are not very well known on the quality of fit & finish of things at large is what I have heard on the internet.
There was a mention on wait time of innova and no top models available, so the maruti badged invicto steps in there for that purpose and giving a lower price too
Lovely discussion 😊
Thanks a ton!
What's the economic benefit of choosing a hybrid over just the petrol only considering the premium you pay... !
Great convo and so many fine points discussed here. Question: I am contemplating buying an xuv700 AX7L Petrol AT and plan to drive it in Bangalore. City use may be 300 too 400 kms a month and highway about 450 a month. Will the Petrol automatic be a really bad choice given its a gas guzzler? I mean what is the expected mileage in city traffic? Thanks.
Thank you! Depends on your drive cycle, but realistically in peak hour traffic, you will be looking at 7-8kmpl, maybe 9-10kmpl if you have slightly better flowing city traffic (based on our experience and owners we've heard from in different cities). Highway should be in the territory of 12kmpl. So whether or not it's the right choice depends on how much you're ok with spending on fuel every month
Thanks! So any other 7 seater that I am looking at i.e. petrol as my usage is not much and since diesel has its own niggles plus less refinement as compared to petrol, do you agree that petrol might be best if the daily run isn't too much? Also what are my other options in petrol vis a vis xuv in petrol as in how much extra mileage would the nearest 7 str AT automatic offer?
sir , scorpion me diesel m manual le yaa automatic ?
Budget me mumkin hai tho automatic kharid lijiye.
Service issues of all 3cars were not discussed as that is the main concern
However, I would still bet my money on toyota when it comes to cars above 30lakhs. Though I own 2 Tata cars and happy about them, service centers doesn't value your investment. I have seen them carelessly handling safaris ansd Harriers which are an emotion to customer.
Toyota has the best professionalism in this.
Maybe when Tata launches a harrier /safari EV with a real-world range of 600kms I will definitely buy that
If i am buying a big car for my family i want it to be comfortable reliable spacious luggage space…gud on average for gimmics i will buy a sedan or small suv
You missed out a comparison of the headlights. It is an aircraft versus a car versus a candle. No prizes for guessing which is what...
Hi. It's a wonderful comparison video, answering almost every aspect needed.
I would like to know the comparison in the headlight throw quality.
Which car gives better visibility at night on highways and if possible in rainy conditions.
Headlight throw has been an issue with new LED system in almost all top end cars of all manufacturers.
I own a kia seltos GT line, planning to upgrade to either of the above compared cars.
I would like to get your verdict over my question if possible, be it in comment reply or on a video comparison.
Thanks and regards.
Xuv has better light throw among all while hycross being the poorest in throw
Safari❤
Is this tata promotion video😂.If you buy a TATA then you will cry for its service😂
4x4 nai chahiye. For 5people. Kaunsi leni chahiye. ??
Tata Safari anytime.. but where the #ToyotaInnova surpasses is the service, 3rd row seating & service guys experience. If #Tata just improves its service part then no one would look for anything else.
Battery renewal costs of HyCross after 8 years ?!
do a carnival vs hycross
Now the only thing on which Tata seriously need to work is Reliability and after sale service. People need peace of mind after spending 30+ lacs.
We are family of 4 adults and 2 kids and you think how much luggage do we need to take for a trip. But neither xuv nor harrier has boot space to accommodate luggage for even 1 day for 6 members..! Its Hycross which has good boot space! Also there is nothing can be done if we choose captain seats in Xuv or safari bcoz anyway last row seat have to be folded to keep luggage in both xuv and safari and thats they both become a 4 seater now🥲 max 5 persons with 1 folded seat and moreover 1 person have to sit alone at 3rd row with luggage in near folded seat.. werin Hycross all 6 persons can comfortably sit along with good amount of luggage!! Thus we chose hycross for our 6 member family!!
And i guess even Hycross average interior quality can withstand on par with xuv and safari as while test driving i noticed two buckles in seat came off in safari in new car.
Moreover while resale value after 10 years Hycross sure will sell 10 lacks more than xuv and safari does so Verdict Investing now on Hycross is worth it!! What do you say ?!!
You raise some very valid points. And this is why we don’t declare one car as the “winner” because that depends entirely on the owner’s use case. The Hycross is the best fit for your specific requirements and you are correct to consider it the best pick for those reasons.
Similarly, many people buy these big cars but mainly because they want a car that’s large, has strong road presence, premium quality, features or performance where a different option would fit the bill better.
Hey tushar- besides the video- what’s your height man?
6.5ft 😀
First comment … yaay 😊
great video , it would have been even better to have more points on after sales and service and weigh those in also , nowadays bikes or cars , it is quite hard to get them wrong but after sales service and long term reliabilty is the name of the game and would love see dedicated sections on those along with the bells and whistles the cars come with from the showroom floor.
Drive krne men XUV best hai..top class pick up and response..driven them all..Xuv drive quality and comfort best hai
I think our guys like Innova from starting to end
No other cars comparisons to Toyota in terms of built quality and reliability. I have had bad experiences with Tata and Mahidra and their services as well. I hope they improvise their services to customers and be more professional in executing trust to their customers
Yea I also
Should have included crysta 😢
MotorInc Compitetor is here
No chance
Toyota pays its engineer while others are paying the designers...tata pls make your own engine and Mahindra pls get rid of that 2.2 and build a 2 ltr..for better pricing...Toyota is a far more superior product for Indian customer
Xuv 700❤
Automatic in all 7str version of the 3 cars start frm 19Lkhs ex-showroom. in that case of same price point, do you want to compare Tata, Mahindra to a Toyota ? Something is seriously wrong with these people..
And the Innova Crysta is there for everyone, why would they go for a Mahindra actual 5str ? Toyota goes minimum 3Lkhs mileage with proven reliability.
Viral kr do yr❤❤
Excellent analysis and presentation styles both of you have.really like the content that zig wheels is putting out.I booked the petrol xuv700 ax7l automatic and then drove the safari and was completely taken in by the presence and sense of occasion as you mentioned.i booked that too😂.now i am wondering which one to cancel.heart says safari head says xuv.would love to have you weigh in on the matter to make it more clearer for me 😅
Safari is best❤
Clear all rounder xuv700 will rule and trendsetter for this decade
hycross is not even an suv, it's an mpv. why are you guys even comparing it with suvs. and by the way you said that the xuv is missing some features, could you tell which ones coz i doubt it misses out anything. xuv is a perfect suv in true sense. safari is a front wheel drive pseudo suv. so technically you guys are comparing an suv, a pseudo suv and an mpv which doesn't make any sense.
We are comparing vehicles available at similar price points. You may not compare them because you consider them as different vehicle categories but most people buy cars based on what meets their requirements with how much they can spend. The XUV700 has the option of all wheel drive, but save for those specific variants, it's a monocoque front wheel drive car like the others
Even the XUV is a front wheel drive monocoque Crossover much like the Safari. None of them are SUVs.
The quality finish in safari is the worst. The glitch in the infotainment system and digital driver display and even the alignment of panels in steering is not proper. The after sales service is poor as they don't have trained technicians. The reliability of safari is doubtful compared to hycross
How can you not recommend Xuv 700 is for its ride quality and power 😂😂
Service always and still a big NO for tata, nah nah with Mahindra, and good to go with Toyota😢
Safari is beautiful car
Xuv 700 alloys looks very cheap and it’s not diamond cut alloys like previous version.
safari's old model is superb but now Safari facelift looks like a toy car🤣🤣🤣
Mujhe ek bat samajh me nahi ati hai ki sabhi youtubers suv's ke saath innova jaise mpv ko kyu compare karte hai?
You shouldn't have got the Toyota to this contest...it's on a different level
Safari going to rule in 2024
Safari isn't half as good as you think it is. You guys see some flashy lights and you get excited.
Compare them with crysta not hycross
You missed out safari has 3 redar sensors but xuv 700 has only one redar sensor..
left person is more specific
After 10 years innova shows the quality when safari is scraped😂 xuv may be running
Why Hycross...? SUV vs MPV...weird compassion....😑
You are mixing Hycross with Hybrid all through your conversation
Is it? We’ve mentioned the Hycross’ lower non-hybrid variant around 13:30 & 38:46.
We clarified that the Hybrid is the powertrain you want if fuel efficiency is important (36:59), mentioned the Hybrid powertrain functioned normally when we ran into the fuel gauge issue (37:45) & importantly, the Hycross is the only hybrid in this comparison so it can’t be mixed up with any other car.
