  • Grays Arch is one of the most visited arches in Red River Gorge and for good reason, it’s one of the best hikes in RRG and it’s personally my favorite arch in RRG. In today’s video we will check out the Grays Arch area and I’ll show you how to make this hike into a less than 5 mile loop!
Hope you enjoy this video and I hope to have another up soon, the next adventure will be the Indian Staircase Loop.
    Thanks for watching!

I really appreciate the time you take to explain everything. Giving warnings and explaining what is going helps so much. Thanks man.

I try to share some things I would’ve like to have known on my first visits to try to help others out on their first visits so they’re able to enjoy the area and to avoid having to make a call for SAR.
Glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching!

Nice video. You showed me a new spot or two. I love Gray's Arch, but hate that climb out to Rush Ridge, the one with the steps. I died climbing that hill. Twice. 😆
Now I only do that loop backwards and start on Pinchem Tight to Rush Ridge to Gray's Arch and back to the parking lot.
I love when the Rhodos are in bloom. Mountain laurel too. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure and showing cool places in the gorge.

That’s definitely a big climb coming up from Kings towards Rush Ridge.
That’s a great loop of the spring when rhodo and mountain laurel are blooming, especially there close to Rush where the two come together. From time to time it works out to where they’re both in bloom at the same time.
Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching!

Just went RRG for the first time and had no idea I could loop Gray's Arch. Will definitely do this one next time.

It’s a pretty decent loop, get a walk along Kings Branch and then a few nice overlooks along Rush Ridge, a nice alternative to doing an out and back to Grays.

Great area, several other off trail arches near by. I’ll eventually make a video with all of them in it.
