Thai Mackerel or Sardine salad (serves: 1-2)
1 tin of Mackerel (or Sardines) in tomato sauce (125 g)
1 stick of Lemongrass
1 small shallot
1 bunch of coriander/cilantro
3 bird's eye chilies
2 tsp fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp fish sauce

Is sardines or mackerel less fishy tasting?
Both are quite fat and “fishy” that’s why we add lime and herbs. Give it a try I think you will be surprised 🙏
Wait, im confused! Where can I buy all that for lesse than $2 ?
The concept obviously doesn’t suggest that you buy a bottle of fish sauce and then only use it once for this salad - that would be contrary to the idea of this being economical. The same goes for the rest of the Ingredients.🙂
