Constance is my least favorite character Lange played. She was great, but in Season 1, I honestly favored Tate, Ben, Violet, Chad, and Addy. It was really Season 2 on where I was blown away by Lange’s versatility. I’d rank it Jude, Elsa, Fiona, then Constance.
Some people were born for acting.... so blessed we got to have her for 4 seasons

I can honestly admit, this show has dropped in quality so hard since Freakshow. It’s not even that they changed the actors or big ones like Lange left, the first four seasons had such beautiful and unique cinematography, the writing and dialogue was much more elegant and the stories seemed genuinely strange and creepy. Idk man, I feel like it’s just something you can actually SEE.
Well you can't always do your best work sadly .it seems like every show after couple of seasons decreases in quality but apocalypse and cult were awesome seasons in my opinion ,could be put together with the first four seasons as the best ones of the whole series
Unpopular opinion, but I kinda liked Roanoke. But I agree, and I think the quality decrease may correlate with Jessica's departure. When you have a two-time oscar-winning legend leading your show, the whole production has to sorta step up because you're not going to keep that kind of talent with mediocrity.

The first time I watched this scene, I got to the end and honestly couldn't remember breathing. This set the tone, to me, for the best of the seasons, and only a few came up to par.
It’s amazing how the ghosts wouldn’t dare to hurt Constance, even them didn’t want her to stay at the house.

When I first started off AHS, the character which became impressive so instantly was Constance, Jessica Lange has a different kind of charm in her screen presence.

I came out here to be a movie star...what was Elsa looking for? It's amazing how these writers have managed to intertwine seasons...and Jessica is BRILLIANT here, not even knowing the furture of her character or role

Lol Jessica Lange is such a freaking wonderful actress. The was indeed one hell of an entrance that’s for sure and after this episode gosh I agree ; she became Such an icon on the show
AHS co-creator/producer Ryan Murphy (along with producer Brad Falchuk) had brilliantly casted Kathy Bates, who played a variety of characters, on different seasons, in various episodes. actress Sarah Paulson had also starred in the "Murder House" season, that had included Jessica Lange. in 2015, co-producer Murphy had casted Jamie Lee Curtis (as Cathy Munsch) for the "Scream Queen" Fox tv series.
