How to make a simple mosaic damascus knife billet.

Making a mosaic pattern damascus billet that's fairly easy but very beautiful. In this video I'll be making a basket weave pattern using 1084 and 15n20 steels to create the mosaic starting with a 20-layer stack, forging it into a long bar, cutting it into four pieces and forging them together in a four-way forge weld. Then I will repeat the process again then draw it out, do a tile cut and flip the tiles to expose the pattern on the sides of the billet. Then I will forge weld the tiles and draw out the final billet.
