Regarding the salary cap and keeping talent in super league I couldn't agree more.
Super league should have some of the best athletes in the world by now, I don't think it has grown as quick as it deserves to have as a comp.

John Wilkin is spot on with his views on what Folau has written.

He usually is regarding most things. He owned Phil Clarke on sky sports last week and will hopefully replace that negative clown when he retires from playing

From an Australian perspective I love seeing them come over here, Wests Tigers fans still talk about Gareth Ellis and how good he was. Soccer and Rugby Union may as well be non- existent in Australia at the moment, dying codes. The NRL will only get richer, with the only real competition the AFL. On the plus side for SL Widdop is only 30 and has gone over there, Burgess is only 28 so at least there is a bit of a flow back and forth. Hopefully it will one day improve the England team..

Salary cap needs to stay as long as the TV deal is so small otherwise we'll have the debacle of another half a dozen Bradfords where players didn't get paid were demotivated or left and were hammered by 70 points week after week. Multiple candidates like Wakefield, Castleford and Hull KR. To just get rid of the salary cap ruins the point and until the sport can afford to get rid of it, which it currently certainly cannot, the it needs to stay and Super League needs to recognise it's niche as a feeder to the NRL, just like football leagues around the world feed into the EPL.
