Just back from Kassiopi a lovely little harbour village, Sidari is not for me couldn’t spend more than a day there but i know it suits a lot of people especially families with the shallow sea and lovely beach. I got excellent footage of the landing from the right side approach…by the way back in Tenerife November for just short of 2 weeks, happy travels mate 👍👍
There is more to Sidari than that strip ..where you started at Babylon, go the other way and you will come across other bars, turn right at the three little pigs and go over the "stinky bridge" and you will see even more pubs, restaurants etc. And has a beautiful area I called Canal D'Amour
Yes definitely agree the Canal D'Damour is beautiful and yes, the stinky bridge 😂.
Totally agree there folks, I posted about the old 'Sea Monkeys' bar yesterday. The strip is great for lively times but the Canal area up to even the Olive Grove restaurant/bar is more civilized and chilled. My own personal thoughts of course. Cheers DougT

We’re arriving soon , staying near salt and pepper restaurant. It’s up the road away from the beach near Cocktails and Dreams.
Turn past the three little pigs over the stinky bridge go to the sea garden the best and most modern bar in sidari

Thanks for the video ,i will be going to sidari in a couple of weeks My first time in corfu , looking to visit the corfu town and see a few more places in corfu and not just stay in sadari.

Been to Sidari a few times , yes it can be windy, but usually the sea is calm and warm. Kassiopi seems a beautiful resort , already booked it for next year so any further info on it will brilliant. Love the videos and info's you do so keep them coming Kevin . Stay safe .

Hi wee Kev.I.N Greek islands and resorts are a totally different kettle of fish, so to speak, to all the Spanish continent. Different but they grow on you and can get under your skin. I've never gone to south Corfu only up to the north. Sidari is on the FLAT thats the 👍 for its location. Early days of Greek tourism was just village rooms tucked away behind a family house etc. Simple easy going days until the advent of all the resort 'strips' in whatever island you were on. Mythos is the 👑 of Greek beers. Cheers DougT

Yes I agree with you Kevin it is very similar to protaras and ayianapa walking through the strip although I’ve not been since the year 2000 😄 so it could of changed a lot but I did love Cyprus we got married there 🥰 I am warming a bit to Corfu I think but then again this is only the 2nd vlog I’ve seen of it Kevin 👍🏻 keep em coming 😊

I 100% knew it would be 'one for the road', been loads of times, great place, you only walked about 30% of the strip, further down is Cargo, another favorite of mine, looked windier than normal to me, must have been a bad day, love Sidari, not a 'big' place, but its really safe and friendly, can well recommend it for solo travellers, so easy going

We stayed in Moratika in 1987 great time it was 40 degrees plus

Say hi to theo Rizos in bolero irish bar from viv in Ireland and head over to canal d amour to akron seascape resort and have a cold one
Would like to visit Corfu one day so interested to see the different resorts . My son went to Kavos though he said it wasn’t great…bit of a dump ??
Was in kavos 42yrs ago, loved it. Wouldn't now.
I got an awful dose of planter fasciitis in salou few years ago ,walked miles in flip flops and ended up dreadful pain ,had to have injections when I got home .worst pain ever

A lot of the sun beds are not free Kevin they charge €15 per person and you have to spend that €15 on food and drink it’s a lot of money if your with family
