sivedan The comparison doesn't hold up, for a few reasons. The late nighters in America are doing four or five shows a week, they're hemmed in by Standards & Practices and they're generally doing lighter fare. It's ok to say that you like Frankie's monologues without comparison.
Yeah Frankie wouldn't get away with 30% of this material in the US. He's only just managed to keep the show on BBC 2. Funniest guy in Britain by far. No disputing he's the funniest there's ever been on mock the week.
David Shaw They are on tgat circuit to push politics and virtue signals rather than make us laugh. Comedians aren't funny people in fact when u get to know em they're the least funny and tragic people you can know.
The thing about Frankie for me is that he remains funny, cutting and relevant despite being on the scene for such a long time now. He is uncompromising and deeply intelligent and behind the outrageous perversity of this thought train there are abiding truths that don't get old. He also does a good job of picking his guests.
arsenalfanrichi I think people know it's so helpless so they think the only thing they can do is speak out on social media. Because I mean seriously, how could anyone stop Americans (or anyone that powerful)? We can't do shit and they know that, so they keep social media around for us to vent.
Great show, Frankie! But my favorite was Lucy's scar tissue joke. That was just brilliant. Damn funny and damn true, summing up perfectly Jacob and Boris along with Trump and several of his minions. Keep up the good work.
I have missed Frankie from the forefront of British humour, he says what we all think and therefore must be restrained. Lucy Prebble makes a wonderful panellist she is erudite, witty and obviously well educated. More please.
She's no idiot. Funny lady and obviously very bright, except to those Dunning-Kruger types unable to see past their blinkered partisanship. Frankie is a gem, woefully cynical yes, but a brilliantly creative talent.
Presumably we're all liberals right or left in the UK. This isn't the states where they have forgotten western civilization was built on liberalist thinking after all. Obviously Trump is an easy target to mock and I agree he should be ignored much more. Sadly his position as president does mean he gets more attention than is warranted. Frankie hasn't changed his views over the years though. You are just not familiar with his oeuvre. Just out of interest, which current comedians do you think cover political content well? You obviously don't get comedians less PC than Boyle but happy to hear your suggestions for alternatives to Boyle to front a show such as this.
Gareth Mitchell did she? Apocalypse games are making my friends conducive to a life mentality that "already assumes" the impending nonexistence of humans? Not a stretch?
she just spread fake news ....Kids in Cage false was fake news ...Obama did the same thing some the images you seen was not trump but from when Obama was in office ....Time magazine cover FAKE .Mother of that child was with that child as proven by parents who tweeted ...they paid $6k to be smuggled in with child ..
Not that I am agreeing with the Trumptards posting above but she was a bit OTT on the Russia bashing. miss information and propaganda is not a Russian trait but a German one. mastered by the Brits and perfected by western mainstream media (BBC Included). also cops vs blacks is US politics not ours. our powers that be do not discriminate.. they shit on everybody in equal measure.
MrRowrow22, yes it is, and Trump is doing his best to follow that script. Attack the left from the left and the right from the right, so no one knows who you really are.
It's so nice to see a western government employee (Frankie) address the fact that Britain and the US are completely hypocritical in complaining about election rigging.
@@CuttyDarke His supporters are unnerved by the thought of Indians whilst getting their fill of his steaming, liquidy anus- an ironic full circle we have here...

I would highly recommend not annoying yourself or wasting a single second on it and instead go and do something better with your time - you know - something nice with someone you like, get a glass of wine or watch another video.
Grant Firth Bernard I adore Jupp on this show. Much needed. I don't mind the others in their general performences but I think they see it as another panel show.
Oh fuck off, he's being a comic like every other comic on the thing. He's playing a Miles Jupp character just as much as he played Archie on Ballamoray. You think he's on this BBC show because they thought he was principled and upright? Get to fuck. He's on because Katharine Ryan is doing gigs. If they wanted Sir Robin Day, they would hardly have fronted the show with Frankie Boyle FFS.

I live near the American border in Alberta and the northern border is so open that it’s hard to tell where it is in some places. I’ve accidentally wandered over the border several times while hiking in the mountains and on the prairie without even knowing it, so when I hear about these kids getting locked up at the border (which I also crossed as a kid on foot while on vacation in Mexico) I get pretty outraged knowing that I went through there with ease because I was white, that I crossed the border into Montana and nobody cared, and that these people can’t be treated the way I was simply because of how they look.
The way we do it in Australia is you go and vote and say your name, then they look you up in a big book and ask where you live, then you tell them and they cross your name off, then you leave and maybe have a sausage in a bread with some onions and tomato sauce. It's alright. I mean you have to Que for like twenty minutes sometimes, so I dont know if fraud is really viable, or even worth the time.
Just subscribed if this is the sort of stuff on here regularly 1989NickiD ?? Love Frankie but also like the guests!! Especially the American woman that was on last week!! Sorry , don't know her name YET 😉😂😂🙏🏻
The word is стёб ('trick' or 'banter') - the "ё"* in russian is not a diphtong (as that hilarious sty-ob pronounciation may imply)... *ё=yo (y is consonant)
18:28 - I hope she really just wrote "a little bit", because what she said there is complete nonsense. Faces are not inherently "harder to render" than anything else, and games aren't required to look realistic, anyway (some of the most popular games are deliberately cartoony). And "rendering a realistic face" is not a *gameplay* element, at best it's a tech demo. To create a game that people will want to play (and replay) you need some challenging activity, like shooting alien invaders, racing cars, building a city, jumping across platforms, managing a sports team, tidying up a farm, exploring an ocean on a different planet, etc.. None of that is inherently about "dystopian futures". Looks like she played maybe two games in her whole life and constructed a nonsensical narrative about "rendering faces" to apply her experience to the entire games industry (and gamers in general).
Seemed as if Lucy had to kind of 'win over' Miles a bit - like she was just being too serious for him. Until the scar tissue joke, then his laugh made it feel like he accepted her as 'funny enough'.

"My personality is scar tissue over the wound of myself" Bwahahahaha
He is the the genuine thing. Genius
The ending monologue is one for the ages.
Rocket Raccoon Extraordinary. You don't hear stuff like that everyday
I’m Stoned and can’t stop looking at Frankie’s ear lobes.
Frankie, Miles, and Sara are fast becoming one of my favourite panels on telly
Were you paid for that comment?
This episode has by far been the best of the series, really clever insights and brilliant jokes melded together in perfect harmony
And Lucy Prebble. What more could we possibly want?
Frankie has the best & wittiest monologues on TV, period, it over shadows Conan O'brien, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Fallon by miles......
sivedan too true

I think he's even better than Maher - and I like Maher.
Nx Doyle their standards must be very low for their content
Much appreciated, as always. :)

David Shaw nope
That closing monologue was pure poetry.
NumptyDumpty - but what does it represent?
Lucy Prebble is great. Please have her on more!
She's intelligent, articulate and witty. Plus she's a fox. 😻
Urghh. Please. Lets not. What a massive gobshite. Or to be more accurate, narcissistic pussy with teeth.

She's a well educated parrot I heard no genuine thoughts come from her just regurgitated propaganda.
Frankie used to say what we all thought before he sold his soul to liberal left. BBC have defanged him
Jokes about Trump? Ooohhh! Edgy and satirical 😮

Best episode so far
Awesome show.
Someone has been watching Adam Curtis
That closing monologue was fucking sublime!

That expression about sums up the general reaction to Frankie's sick but hilarious jokes.
i wish this was longer. i wish this show laster like an hour. his monologues, the discussions, everything, seems to be cut short. such a pity..
It's so nice to see a western government employee (Frankie) address the fact that Britain and the US are completely hypocritical in complaining about election rigging.
i tip my hat to you frankie boyle.....making me who in essence is dead inside....laugh like a demented seal.....bravo
I LOVE Frankie Boyle, the more outrageous the better.
Genius at work.
Get Mona Chalabi back on. Not the best for jokes but her input was still valid and informative. She is a stunner too
that was a brilliant closer
the bit about face rendering was so cool.
Less than two minutes in and I'm regretting eating while watching this.
Why?

I find it interesting that this is in the entertainment category rather than the comedy one.
so great to have political powerhouse Roisin Conaty onboard. I learnt so much about democracy from her.
If you're looking to an observational comic on a comedy panel show to get information about politics, that's on you.
