Last news about solomon was in march and not much has been heard since ! Ederson bossed it vs Liverpool as well a few weeks ago. Walks straight into our team, but now that they've got CL football, this is a CL player and the draw for him to move to Spurs is highly questionable at this point. That being said, the player might think that a European Cup is a great capstone to a SerieA career and the time is right to jump to the Premier League.

Mohamed Simakan is a no brainer. Originally a centre back, he can play right back, he's strong, quick and his mentality is second to none.

Odoi is nothing like son. The only similarity is that they both cut in from the left & shoot/finish & that’s actually something son didn’t do all season long. Odoi is 1v1 touchline winger, these guys make it seem like Odoi only cuts in because his goals came off of that. 1 assist isn’t great but he plays for forest not like anyone outside of MGW is going to grab many assists. They’re not an offensive or dominating team. They want a winger that’s at the back post ? lol good luck with that, very few wingers much less touchline wingers do that, that’s a striker thing or goal oriented wingers thing, like Johnson and Johnson for his piss poor finishing only scored 5. We can’t really say he’s not the type of winger ange wants unless ange says exactly what he wants out of a winger. To me it’s mad that we will happily cough up 50 million for Johnson but less than half of that for a better player and winger in Odoi. Odoi is the type of winger we need, speedy, 1v1 specialist, cut in and shoot, scorer, elite ball striking. Ofc since this signing makes since and he’s good Tottenham and these guys don’t want him because it’s the correct decision, they’d rather spend another 50 million on someone like Johnson

He’s a CB we don’t need a CB playing full back honestly tired of that. I think mourinho would love to play 4-5 cbs in a back 5 or back 4 but we don’t need simikan at RB. Makes no sense to want to get rid of Emerson Royal and then sign a played exactly like him at RB
Simikan at RB ? Why would you want another slow, uncreative, safe passing, defensive minded cb as a RB replacement ? If we didn’t have Radu, simakan would’ve been a great CB signing. Honestly it’s so stupid like when spurs fans wanted VDV to play LB at the start of the season and thought Emerson was the best fit for ange at RB. This is dumb like playing Jules Kounde at RWB in the euros and RB at Barca or Levi Cowill at LB
RB is a non priority for us. If simakan is an option I’d rather keep Emerson, no sense of paying 40 million for a CB we don’t need who is only slightly better than Emerson at RB. Simakan would’ve been an amazing CB signing but we don’t RCBs . If we sell Emerson, give Djed Spence an opportunity. Ability wise Djed Spence is literally like Udogie but better offensively but he does seem to switch off a little defensively. Djed and udogie are twins, physically his defensive potential is huge, same physical profile as udogie, blistering pace, tall, strong, physical ect. Offensively I think djed is better he’s a real 1v1 threat and beats his man off the dribble or like udogie when he gets going he breezes past them

Odoi is a much better footballer than BJ - not sure how we came to the conclusion that spending that much on BJ was the move. Odoi would be perfect for our system. He’s scrappy, he’s creative, and I think Ange can beat some decision making improvements into him.
But I’ll take Lookman over all of them.

Go and get Eze on the left and Pedro Neto on the right and Palhinha from Fulham. Play Son as the no9 and push for the title. Sell Hoiberg Royal Lo Celso Bissouma and all other fringe players. It can be done, but the owners are not interested. The most expensive ticket prices to go and watch Brennan Johnson and Hudson Odoi as the wingers. Nothings ever gone change. Its so depressing.

For me Hudson-Odoi is just Winks or Skipp on wing. If he wouldnt be English noone would even dare to think about signing him. Same with Solanke, one season wonders and would cost 3 times their value just cause they are english and play in PL.
