This is hands down the best swimsuit sewing tutorial! Such clear instructions and I love that you show how to get that professional finish where the lining doesn't peek out anywhere. Thank you so much!

The best tutorial on sewing a swim suit. I stuggle so much on sewing a swimsuit but now no more. Thank you to you Catherine and Mrs Jenner, now time to tackle that little monster and tame it to a kitten.

I love that you are including Ms. Jenner in your thanks! She is the source of all my swimsuit knowledge! Best of luck in taming your monster project!

Your "strap attach" is genius! 💃 Though I am 69 and not looking to make swimwear, all the knowledge you shared is useable for lingerie projects. Thank you so much for your efforts!

This one's a bit advanced for my measly sewing skills, but I wanted to say, I really appreciate your teaching style. So calm and reassuring. You'd be my first choice of an Instructor any day. Thank you for the great video(s).

Right!? I think it's difficult to serge the elastic in; too much going on at once! So glad you found this video helpful!

Catherine could you explain the difference between a standard rotary cutter and a bearing rotary cutter? I've been sewing for 58 years and never have used a cutter. I thought rotary cutters would not be accurate but you make them look like a great tool.

In my college first year (though none of us were real beginners) sewing class, our 1st semester final was the construction of a 2 piece bathing suite that fit! It was 1969 and the fabric was cotton lined with cotton and included a a back zipper! 😂😂😂
Please do a one piece bathing suit as at 73, I’m past my bikini era. I bet I’m not alone . . .

Dear Catherine Sews.... Very Cool Spider-Man Shirt!!..... And that works because here is a new comment, I hope you like it.... Here goes......
    BACK HISTORY:
As a young girl, Catherine Stitchit woke up late at night hearing what sounded like thunder. She scrambled out of bed and went to the wind curiously because she had no fear of lightning, to her Great Spirit was launching various firecrackers. And pulling open one curtain she only saw a full orange moon and this caused Catherine to scratch her head. But then she saw something glowing in the woods exterior of the family backyard and so she quickly got dressed, jeans, shirt, sneakers, coat, and handy-dandy flashlight. She slipped outside accompanied by her dog, Stitch, and then ran into the woods hoping to find something. And after an hour she discovered a strange big ball of yarn with two knitting needles acting as an alien antenna. She gasped in shock and fainted and Stitch barked excitedly and with concern.
"Who are you?" she asked after waking up.
"I am the Stitch-Witch Wizard and I know you are an honest soul because my Mahagick Knit-Ball is never wrong. Your world is going to be invaded soon by the evil Lord of Wrinkle of Crinkle World located in the Crumpled Multiverse. I need you to help protect your planet from Gawd awful wrinkles."
