- Welcome back to the Dream channel! This week we're going BACK TO BASICS 😎 This FK2 Type R has come in to see us for a major upgrade to it's intake and exhaust system - the car has already had these modifications carried out however the upgrades we're carrying out today will massively refine the driving experience providing an enhanced exhaust note and a much more efficient air intake system.
While the car was in with us, the customer opted to have a few smaller bits added such as our Dream Automotive Front and Rear Black Badges and a set of Climair Wind Deflectors.

Fk2 is for me the best looking typeR ever made. I still drive my old FN2 and i love it to bits.

Hello, is there an oil catch can solution for the FK2R? I would like to install one on PCV side. I haven't found a suitable place yet either.

Hi sir, great video as always. Just a question, I have dynotuned my Fk2 last year with Airtec intercooler + downpipe (383HP). I have installed the Eventuri intake bought from your website (best mod and sound IMO). I plan to install the milltek exhaust.
Do you think I need to do another dynotuning setup?
Dyno tuning isn't required after the Eventuri or an exhaust, but you will get the most benefit if the car is re-tuned so we definitely recommend it! 👍

The exhaust was very lively before with a brutal note, we agree it sounds better now it has been tamed! We're not sure of the wheels - they were from a brand we don't see very often. They're very nice though!

Hope u can help. I fitted an injen intake onto my fk2 yesterday, and after starting the car, it felt as if it was going to stall so I kept my foot on accelerator at 2000 revs for a few minutes and it was idling fine I then took it a run felt fine when I got back I left the car running and it started to slightly over rev it flagged up a mass air flow PO102 code on my obd so I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and tried again it started over reving again so when I disconnect the sensor it idles fine could u please tell me what u think this could be thanks

They look like Concaver's. If you go on their site they should have images of the FK2 with all the Concaver's
The wheels were from a brand we don't see very often and unfortunately we're not entirely sure what they are! They do look great on the car though!

If you had to choose 1 of the turbo charged type r which would you choose? I bought the fk2 because it to me that little bit more individual as they made so few of them
After having one of each, the best performing car is the FL5 - it's a very natural feeling jump from the FK8, as is the FK8 from the FK2!
The FK2 will always have a special place in our hearts as it's the platform that we started on - likewise for the FK8, the introduction to the USA market was huge for us as well as taking home many a trophy in one!
It's a very difficult question - can we say 1 of each? 😅😅
