The phrase, "Curiosity can get you in trouble." Comes to mind when talking about this topic. After a breakup, it's important to process your thoughts, feelings and action. Was this a healthy relationship? Was it bad timing? Did you grow apart or want different things? You have to take time to process because this helps with closure and moving forward and not backwards reminiscing about what should or would have been. Also, I agree with Loni, sometimes it's best to sever ties with the object of your pain in order to heal. You CANNOT heal and grow while dwelling in the PAST!

Well.. I'm still cool with my ex's and friends with them on FB. I encouraged them to be the best version of themselves. Even though, we didn't work out in the past it was just an experience for the both of us to grow and come to a maturity level in the things what we don't want in a man or a woman. Some lessons and experiences I had in my past relationship just helped me to learn to forgive ppl because we all have a past, dealt with so many different issues and many don't know how to heal from those things. Thats why I love all my ex's with the love of Christ and wish no harm to come thr way and prayed God a save there souls. Blessings to all my ex's. Keep your head up!💞

I was with a guy for 4 years we were serious talking marriage. He wanted us to get married a year and half before I finished. university. I asked him can we wait a year so I am done so I don’t have to deal with the stress of wedding, plus imagine I fell pregnant would make everything difficult. My dad refused the marriage as he wanted me to finish uni. My dad loved the guy and he was so immersed in my family. My dad gave the dude such a hard time we ended breaking up. I focused on my final year got first class honours degree which I am proud of.
Anyways after we broke up he got married after 2 months and my dad and brothers decided to go to his wedding. I was too stressed doing my final year to even care but my feelings were hurt that my family decided to go to his wedding 😂😂😂.
I met my husband 3 months before graduation and decided to get married 4 months after my graduation. That was 10 years ago. Married with 3 kids and blessed with a loving caring man who supports my growth.
I wouldn’t do what my family decided to do showing up to an ex wedding in such a short period 😂😂

Also religiously we were both waiting for marriage to do the deeds. We are Muslim. I understand why it didn’t work now. They were great men, but not the one for me. A couple of them are married to cool ladies and built beautiful families. One is a pastor. I pray for his church. His wife doesn't care for me, but I will pray for her family. He had a health scare and I wish him well. My other ex had surgery and I checked in on him weekly.
