So my ex recently unfriended me on Facebook for no reason. So I thought I'd make a video explaining some of the reasons why an Ex might decided to unfollow or unfriend you on social media.

Trust me the only reason they unfriend/unfollow you is coz they can’t take looking at something they can’t have anymore lol. They’re frustrated . Alow them move on! x

Nah, it's called self respect and moving on with your life. I unfollowed/unfriended my ex aswell. Why would I want to see my ex pics/stories on my home feed?
They are an ex for a reason.
After being dumped via text, I was puzzled as to why my ex blocked me everywhere.
Somehow my ex had the emotional stones to grieve, talk to and develop attraction in the space of 12 weeks because she’s now in a budding new relationship 😅
That’s the final slap in the face I needed. Time to move on.

It hurt... IDK why he did it, but it was a lil stab, we had a calm break up. I know, I DOoooo think he did it to be petty or me to see it bc he did IG one day, Snapshot another? Like ok if he made that decision then U just go boom, boom, boom. I have posted NOTHING on either site. Was really weird, but I accept HIS choice. Hey not on all sites. He stays following me on 1 site, that makes me feel it's petty. Thank U for this insight, I pray he does relax, bc I just felt good knowing we were " good",... guess we're not tho.
Same, he deleted me everywhere but fb, I just noticed he deleted me there too, which seemed confusing to me because he texted me earlier today for a 10 min chat. His actions made me think I deserved it, right in the thick of healing, I’m low key sorta hurt but also kinda mad, idk but feels good not to be the only one 🥺

I started posting more after the breakup on ig, but it was art I had created and was trying to sell and develop my art business as I had never used it that way. My art production has increased tenfold since the breakup and I have posted a couple times a week with new art. I have not contacted her at all and have not looked at her stories, though she looked at mine. It hurt seeing she unfollowed me, was I posting too much? the breakup was peaceful, I know I’m overthinking this.

Same here, after she said she lost feelings for me i ignored her and didnt watch her story and i left her ln read, one week later she unfriended me on Snapchat. I think she is a avoidant. Almost 2 months has gone now and she hasnt contacted me after i wrote to her.
He broke up with me. We agreed not to unfollow or block cuz we ended on good terms. He hurt me by following a girl that ultimately led to our breakup. I posted a pic and captioned it “outta your league ⚾️” cuz I was a at a baseball game. Then he unfollowed me 😅

Never take advice from someone who blocks people
After he left me I never begged/pleaded to stay & just went on no contact & deactivated my fb. By today it's been 2 months of no contact. Yesterday I activated my fb , changed profile pic & a happy post. Today he has unfrnded me for nothing. I didn't do anything. But it's really hurting. Then, again I deactivated my fb. Feeling like everything is going to be sunken. I had made my mind before he did so. Bt now, it's like everything came to the beginning

So my bf and I just broke up 3 days ago and he unfollowed me and deleted me on everywhere which broke my heart. Before he deleted me, he asked me to help him with some money to promote and stuff which I always help him, but I said no since we are breaking up and he unfollowed me. What should I do? I still love him and still hoping that he would come back, but at the same time, I don’t want to feel like I’m stupid.
I don't know the dynamics of your relationship... but I would just leave him to it. The fact that he unfollowed you for refusing to give him money seems like red flag. You shouldn't be giving him money in the first place!

I had hope for us perhaps, but now that I see that she unfriended me on Instagram I know my answer. She doesn’t want me at all. I’m worthless to her. I never thought would be like that but deep down that’s how I feel about myself I was thrown away because I knew I’d be thrown away because I expected it and I did everything I could to ruin my relationship like a fool, I’m brokenhearted in my mid 30s not going anywhere in life
I was in a short relationship once with my sisters best friend. We were not compatible at all but she cared for me. a year after break up i realized she remove me from facebook. A couple of months passed by and i saw her at my sisters, and she hugged me and told me its because she did not want to hurt me. She was in a new relationship i was a bit hurt but i always knew the relationship would never go anywhere .

Mine blocked me everywhere the day of break up. 🤷🏻♀️ It’s helping me move on and think about why we didn’t work out.
Hey Abby, I’m in this situation rn but I’m honest enough to say I was at fault when this all started a month ago. So I started seeing this guy 4 months ago and everything was going perfect but my way of seeing someone and being with someone was totally a different thing before him as I kept it all casual, yes when we met for the first time, things bloomed from there itself and it only flourished for better and then suddenly at a party I do something not so good and things start falling from there but I thought I’d be honest enough with him so when he asked me questions I answered it all with honesty and that’s when he came to know I was hanging around or yeah was in some casual thing with someone else when we first started seeing but then my ex himself was always very clear about us not being a bf/gf and that’s how I took but with time I became serious and when I did, things started falling apart, I tried calling him messaging him several times but in vain. Yesterday I posted on Instagram and today morning I saw myself being removed from his Instagram. Please tell me how do I handle this because I still don’t wanna give up on him and still love him.
TBH an ex is an ex so what they do is none of my business. I went off social media and unfollowed my ex because I don't wanna see any of their posts. I don't want to make stupid posts either. Fastest way to move on

Me and my girlfriend of 5 years broke up in the beginning of the year and since then we have been fairly chill with each other so I am wondering why would she unfriend me out of the blue after 6 months?
That is out of the blue!... could be a few reasons:
1) She might be finding it hard to move on from you, so she did it to take space
2) She might be in a new relationship (or maybe you are) and it's hard to see an ex moving on
3) She might want your attention to see how you would react...if you want her back reach out!
Otherwise just give her the space that she needs to get over you and she'll come back around once she's ready.

Same situation, all I did was start working on my self and she posted 2 days ago and I didn’t view her story because it hurts to see her. And all of a sudden removed off everything idk if it’s because I didn’t view her story
@@an63l36 yh I've come to the conclusion that, yes even though I still love her. The time I now have to focus on myself and build the life I want, is actually a blessing. So if we get back together or don't regardless its better to put all your energy on filling whichever gaps you think she left with blocks to build your future on.

What do you call it when that person doesn't follow you back then after months removes me from following her then lies about it. It's like a form of subtle gaslighting she does in different ways but will never admit to her actions when I confront her.
hmm I don't know what to call it because it depends on what caused the breakup etc...
1) Maybe she's immature and wants your attention
2) She didn't follow you back (perhaps she did no contact during this time) and has decided that she wants to move on. So removed you from following her, but feels uncomfortable about telling you the truth
3) or yes she could be gaslighting you...in this case keep away from people like that

So I met this guy online and we were planning a date. Everything was going well until he started talking creepy about how he was going to pick me up at house and kiss me on the way to the restaurant. Eww. So I told him I’d meet him at the restaurant. He accused me of using him for a free meal. Instead of blocking him I took photos of my steak dinner I had that night 🥩😋. I guess he was bothered because he unfriended me after that 🤣🤣🤣 Unfriending means they’re really bothered by your posts and you’re on their mind.

Hi maybe he felt that you were being to intrusive by going through his contacts, some people just don't like it. He wants to hang out which is a good thing.
i did it cuz she stopped calling me like she use to, same applies to video calling, all over a puppy, instagram post concerning the puppy her family etc and work and not giving me much time and just really texting me...i got tired of that, meanwhile ghosting not posting on fb and not texting me as much either yet i would see she would be active on instagram...so i took her off both...shes mad at me now, i tried to add her back on fb she didnt do it so i took that off again and she got mad again so i just sent her again a friend request, i even apologized for it all etc i love but i also feel thats its not just about a new puppy and her job...and her being tired no time etc i gave her venues to come out if its something and she got mad like im not talkin to anyone else etc...
