- Welcome to the very first Quipster 40K Podcast!
This podcast is a little different because rather than just talking about the game Im talking to people in the hobby about their experiences in the community.
Today we're chatting to Wilym St John, one of the cofounders, of Bad Moon Cafe, a boardgaming cafe based in Borough in central London. I talk to him about his experiences in running this kind of cafe and how its been setting up a small business and building a hub for the Warhammer community in London.
We also go into how Wil used Warhammer to get over his near-crippling social anxiety and his relationship with Warhammer and mental health.

You guys are so relatable and genuine - first time listening so will be returning for more!
Great interview dude, I’m glad you sorted that early lighting issue 😋
Big fan of the store, just wish it was somewhere closer. Maybe the next store you open can be north London way 😉
Great interview chaps 👏🏼
Love the episode. Great work.
Really nice to listen to, good work and interesting questions.
ah thanks dude! still new at interviews but slowly learning lots i think! :D
Very enjoyable interview. I still thin chaos black to get a stronger wash than nuln oil. Agree totally on Master of Mankind!
Great voice, also heavily into Warhammer 40k collecting Deathwatch.
You are roughly 7 years younger than me. You shouldve had things online such as dakka dakka where you couldve picked up on drybrushing. And before instagram there was hyves and imgur.
