That's funny. Cause my s20 night mode doesn't lag like that and it takes very good quality pics. If anything, the s20 still looks more modern. That flat look on the s24 is kinda reminding me of my old s4 😢
I have both. The S20 actually has a higher resolution display, and it shows when you place them side by side. But the S24 is faster, has better cameras, and has obviously longer support.
I'm looking to upgrade from my S20+ 5G I love it its been awesome 👌 👏 👍 Only thing it's 4 years old next month and that's my last security patch! How does anyone keep their phone any longer with no security updates? Does it really matter 🤔 or is it all hype to get a newer phone with updates?
My s20 battery is very bad like 2+3 hours of sot. That's really the only reason I'm upgrading because otherwise it runs well with good display and decent cameras
@grapeswisher2226 sad I'm upgrading my S20+ 5G sometime this year! Also I probably still get 4-5 hrs Sot easily phone 📱 works perfectly 4 years old next month! Only reason for upgrading stuck on Android 13 & next month is the last security update. Wondering 🤔 do I stick with Samsung and grab the S23 or S24 or the new Pixel 8a coming in May I don't know lol 😆 🤷
I changed from an S20 to an S24, and I have to say it was a huge disappointment. Overall experience feels of less quality. General performance honestly is not noticeable, not even in the cameras.
I've seen S20s for less than $200 on eBay, if you don't need the AI features and are okay with not getting any more OS updates, I would still give the S20 a solid recommendation. I've had mine since March 2020 (4 years) and things like the performance and camera are still impressing me to this day. Best phone I've ever owned, hands-down. I'll probably get a battery replacement and keep using this phone until it gives out eventually.
Only issues I have is my volume buttons fell off, the back peeled off, and the charging port is spotty. I have a case holding the phone together and I use wireless charging now. Still an absolutely fantastic phone.
@@VarunDubey-OPN that’s true but like I have the s20+ and it looks premium at the front but the buttons feels a little lose and the side and back isn’t the prettiest
The slight curved display on the S20 makes it look SO much better than the flat S24. That alone is why I didnt really want to get it. Just sucks they won't support the S20 anymore
I bought s24 to upgrade but still use my s20 for backup phone. Overall there isn't something excited about the upgrade, except the AI experience. Design wise i like my S20 faaaaar better than S24, except for the camera placement.
Just upgraded from S20 to S24+ The only better thing on the S20 was the colors in videos (same settings, S24+ has Quad HD). But no real downgrade in every day use. Next phone will be S31! Only upgrade when support end 😅

as someone who has used samsung smartphones since the 3, i don't agree. along the way, they dropped the edge lighting gimmick. It was great and useful and i had hoped they would have done more, but they haven't.

marufio he should get s23 if the doesnt want to spend too much on s24. The s24(with both exynos or snapdragon) is obv better than s23 however the difference from s23 is too small to justify an upgrade
How is the s24 better than s20? S20 has longer battery life, longer standby time, more internal memory, more internal storage, microSD card slot for 1TB or 2TB, and better overall features. The S20 has a higher pixel density than the S24. The S20 also has a longer standby time and a higher front camera resolution than the S24.
got s20 as my daily driver still, yet i own s23+ for whole year now, but been using it on airplane mode to shoot content, and thinking to replace my good ol s20 with either s24 or s24 ultra to compliment the s23+ 512gb, id prefer 1tb on new phone tho.
I upgraded to the S24 Ultra and keep my S20 as a backup. There is a way to upgrade it yourself but I hear Qualcomm hasn't provided updated drivers for its 865 chip and that may pose a problem.
it's still gonna get security updates for at least a year & I've read a lot about this and it's really not that big of a deal even afterwards as long as your keeping your apps up to date & the play store and being safe in general with your device not downloading anything sketchy etc there's not much to worry about. Not many 4 year old models besides iphones that are still this good ya know.
Wat are you going to do now? Since its no longer soon updating anymore by samsung. I got the same issue. Im very happy with the S20+ however, its broken and repairing feels not value :(
@@Mike-iz6li Ik its been put on the quarterly updates list and for the past week and a half ive been thinking about just going for the ExtremeROM custom ROM for OneUI 6 and just having root again like I had on my old S7 Edge. The problem is cant do full backups on stock ROM and any flashing trips Knox and forces a wipe.
S20 has gone through so many updates it may be time to do a factory reset. Residue files will be deleted. The S24 has more bands, making it more 5g friendly. S20, in Canada, doesn't get 5g on a few providers and needs an update that Samsung won't do. Not Samsung's fault since the needed update just reverses lockouts that providers want in 2020.

s20 выглядит намного современнее, как устройство из будущего. но есть одно НО - уродский самсунг обновлениями просто убивает s20, появились подлаги, фризы - такого никогда не было. обидно

S24 just looks like another iPhone phone. No style. Honestly was very disappointed with s20 except the looks of it. I hate Apple and so it leaves only pixel to go for, which is not ideal. I hope somebody will come and deliver a better phone next gen. So far most of them are overpriced for what it is. S20 will have to last another year. But man it's a garbage phone to he a premium, so often freezes and touchscreen bugs out. All the bloatware. And iPhone is dated screen with an ok camera, so you are paying for overkill cpu.
