- Today in R6 we go over the kids, basement, meeting, and dining bombsites with Smoke. Mute and Smoke have some of the toughest jobs on Defense, and these poor anchors have to remember all the setups for every site. I'm here to make that job a little easier along the way, while increasing your chances of winning rounds from the very beginning of them, with better setups on site.

I Like your tips, they helped me a lot, and I also have a question. I usually make most of the rotates such as elbow and attic a vault rotate so that the attackers can't just walk into site and fry me since I didn't hear them crouched or alt walking? Also something I thought of after watching your kitchen rotates, should I still make these rotates if my team doesn't know how to play around them?
Can't wait to have my team open up all these angles before they ditch them all to roam.

In kitchen/dining I like having someone on the attic hatch, cuz if the try to breach walls between meeting and kitchen you can easily shoot them or their hard breach devices

One tactic I have seen from defense with the kids site is holding 1st floor classroom to watch the main door and stairs or to peek players on the upper floor window since that window is a powerful spot.
I have to mention that not many players I have seen use that window on second floor despite being able to use grenades on electroclaws placed on the reinforced closet wall and you have view of the armory doorway and attic doorway which is why I say it is a power spot for attackers.

On the white stairs wall in kids site wouldn't opening that wall give the rappelling attacker free angles to the big window rotate?

The only problem with the shield further back is that you are more vulnerable while trying to rotate away, not sure if thats a tradeoff worth doing but certainly one to consider

Enemies can shoot you if they push up closer on the rotate far easier than when the shield is close to the wall

You are both :P You need people to understand how to play these setups. You cant hold them all alone so if your team cant deal with it then you are just helping the attackers. The lower the rank the lower the chance these setups work unless you at least duo que

Coordination is obviously a necessity and loads of games it is poor coordination. I have had people reinforce the freezer when I am trying to punch open the head holes
