I think there is some chance here that Idaho legislature (no referendum, alas), has gone too far in creating too large and wide an opening for state intrusion and control, even for this SCOTUS.. I lived in Idaho, and know that Idaho conservatives often share a near hatred and fear of government intrusion and control. Listening to this case may ring that bell warning for conservative women, if not their husbands. Please remember that this is not about pregnancies that are going to result in living babies.

I was pregnant and happy about it. Then had severe pain so i went to the hospital. They did ultrasounds but said everything was fine. It wasn't. I had an ectopic pregnancy that they missed I was on the phone with my mother and she knew something was wrong. She drove over and rushed me back to the hospital. My fallopian tube had ruptured. I was bleeding internally. They had to do emergency surgery . I was going into shock from blood loss. They said i was close to dying. I had reproductive problems because of my pregnancy. And developed uterine cancer. I will never be cancer free and wil always have health issue's. If this law was in place then and they had detected my pregnancy was an ectopic one, what happened to me would still have happened because the only way they could prevent my tube rupturing would be to-do an abortion.Thats wrong.
