My gateway to a.c.e was actually this survival show called build up which Donghun is currently participating in I was so moved by his vocals that I had to look up a.c.e But I’m not really too into kpop idol groups, let alone male idol groups, so I didn’t really want to get into their discography Since I was only interested in vocals, I looked up and listened to all of their cover songs and was thoroughly mind blown So I decided to give their own discography a shot I started with a bit brighter and easy listening songs like Take me Higher But what got my attention was Undercover with its heavy rock influence (I absolutely love it) Needless to say, I love all of their discography now I love all of their ballads as well My bias, actually vocal ult, is the person responsible for my journey to a.c.e, none other than Donghun ❤️💙💜🧡💛

They're different, they're great, they're talented, they have a great relationship with their fans, I think I have a special relationship with them.
I was introduced to A.C.E due to the survival show The Unit (where Jun and Chan participated in) and MIXNINE (where Donghun, Wow and Byeongkwan participated in) + the tidbit that A.C.E's Jun and DREAMCATCHER's SuA were/are friends.
I only watch Mixnine and The unit because of them hahahah
The song that introduced me to A.C.E was their debut but more specifically, someone I followed on tumblr was obsessed with them and talked about them breaking gender roles with their stage outfits. So for me the gateway was booty shorts XD
Since the guide didn't really go too in-depth about their personalities, I think the older members just recognized that Jun was the best suited for the leader position. Wow is quiet and could have a hard time speaking up in certain situations, and Donghun is too much of a shit disturber :P He really likes to bug people and isn't always big on following the rules.
The group is also not vague or indirect in any way about their support for lgbtq+ people, Junhee took the lead role in a BL and said that he knows they have a lot of gay fans and wanted to take part in the show because he knows it's important for them to see themselves represented in those kinds of stories. And when he was asked what it was like kissing his male costar he said it was amazing and he'd love to do it again if he got the chance XD

Ahhh finally A.C.E! I hope you can react to A.C.E the story guide 2021. Its an hour long but i promise its worth watching, youll get to know more about their predebut upto date 😊
The song that got me into A.C.E was Cactus. Someone on kpop amino(for the week I was on there) had posted about them (having just debuted), I checked it out and slowly just kept going back to listen. While doing some work and having put it on to listen to, CZcams decided to take me through all their covers at the time and I was hooked.
When Callin came out, I excitedly anticipated it, but wasn't sure if I would still like their discography. But once I was pretty much cemented as a Choice. ^.^
There's not really any long plotlines throughout MVs so you're safe to start any song... I will say though, there's little easter eggs to earlier MVs in older ones.
They haven't really said much on how leader was chosen(that i can remember atm), but they have said that Jun is really good at speaking so they made him leader.
1:27 just a bit of updated info, A.C.E got labelmates in 2021!! Forestella are amazing tho they didn't debut with BEAT, just terminated their contract with their previous agency and resigned here. They are a vocal crossover group (so not kpop idol) and do a lot of live performances (they're basically a staple act in Immortal Songs for example). Just my wishful thinking that you'll give them a listen sometime.
Second labelmate is SHY (short for Son Ho Young) an ex member of 1st gen idol group g.o.d
They all have a company song together called Christmas Time and I love it.
Also they have Choi Jonghyun. A member from 2 gen idol group Teen Top. And also some new trainees
@@maria_biba when did Jonghyun join?? I wasn't aware of that, I'm happy BEAT's growing, I do know they have trainees but I've never really kept up with predebut stuff for any group/project (NCT being the sole exception).
@@laurainathunderstorm i'm not sure. Last year maybe. Bur as i can see he also in the military now.
About trainees, i also do not really pay attention to them, but but Beat Interactive this is something new because there were no trainees in the agency before. A.C.E members don' t count because Kim Beat herself said they are not considered as trainees but as aces.

I’ve followed these boys since I saw their pre-debut busking performance of either “I Need U” or “DOPE” by BTS (I don’t remember which one of the top of my head but it was one of those, or both).
They were also my first ever Kpop concert and first concert in general in December 2019.
I really fell in love with their hard EDM style, especially Callin’, which is my favorite song of theirs to date.
I'm so excited to watch your A.C.E journey! A.c.e is an ult group for me, 'Savage' was the song that introduced me to them and WOW is my bias! I personally love their whole discography!
You have to watch their individual guides. They are so good and you will have sooo much fun getting to know them❤

I was introduced to ACE with Undercover!!! I had been watching random busking videos and someone mentioned ACE in the comments saying they were buskers who had debuted. The rest is history! I'm so excited for your journey with ACE, I just know you're gonna love it all!

I got into A.C.E between Undercover era and Savage era. I had just heard Undercover watched all their variety shows and saw all the music videos. Loved them and watched literally all the ACE content I could find then Savage came out and it was over for me

Yaii thank you for doing more A.C.E.. I personally think you should start from the beginning just so you can see the journey they have gone through.. Also I would recommend the b-sides Slow Dive, Do It Like Me, 5tar, Baby Tonight, Stand By You, Clover and Story.. Some of my favourite b-sides.. Also when you get to their newest CB I will recommend listening to the album, it’s only 3 songs as b-sides, some of them have an English version on the album too 🔥🔥
Seriously you will not regret stanning A.C.E, they’re amazing 🥰
BTW I can really recommend their covers, both vocal and dance ones.. They are actually know as the cover kings since they're known to do covers better than the orginial 😉

I actually double bias Donghun and Junhee but my Ult is Donghun.. But I love all 5 soo much 🥰 I got into A.C.E about 2 - 3 weeks before Favorite Boys, so I think it was Stand By You that pulled me in.. I kinda knew about Undercover and Savage before that just didn't know who A.C.E was at that point 🤣
I fell in love with A.C.E through their busking videos. They were so good at singing and dancing that I wished they were an idol group so I can stan. I somehow learned then that they were actually gonna debut in a few days and I was ecstatic!
Though I was kind of put off by their debut song (not a fan of edm actually), I still wanted to support such a talented group. I was ready to consume anything from them 😅 even if it's not my cup of tea.

my first mv was Savage and i stanned immediately, my bestie actually told me to check them out and they're one of my ult groups now (ateez are also an ult group for me & Wonderland got me into stanning Ateez) :) i know i'm a month late commenting but your vid popped up on my recommended while i was watching another reactor.
