Chan (ACE) was very serious & passionate when teaching the dance...n he also good in singing too
Jun and Chan 💖💕❤
😍😍
Whichever group(s) kicked out Chan and Jun probably really regrets it now
LOOOOOLLLL FACTSSS
Super late reply (lol) but I'm pretty sure Jun wasn't kicked out of a group, he had a very busy schedule when the Unit first started so he wasn't there when the song selections were happening and had to join the last group by default.
Your point stands for Chan though lol
ohhhh really?
justmesucker jun wasn’t kicked out
Extremely late reply but Jun is a member of U-KISS. He didn't get kicked out. He was on here to draw attention to not just himself but his group as well as they are slept on like crazy these days
Lol..When Chan was kicked out from other team and glad that he joined this team cuz it shines his talent like singing and dancing..and lastly he was in top 9 debut in the unit 😁👏👏
CHAN IS SO HANDSOME
형원's trash what happened to jun from ace
@up10tion aghase He was in Team Orange, "Monster" team.
seriously, you gotta see all the members of A.C.E standing side by side
onejunn : "was this song released on 2003?"
rayoon : "i was ten"
chan : "i was five"
onejunn : "i was seventh grade"
😂😂😂😂
Wasn’t this album out in 2002? Literally I was not even one yet
Emilie Ng yes it was 2002 and i was four, but this song is my jam once I heard it 😂
i was 2 :')
I'm still a new born baby in that year though 😂😂😂
i wasn't even born 😂😂damn
I love how Junhyeok defend the true value of singing, yes maybe the other members are right that dancing comes first for an idol but never forget that MR removed is always there that are ready to criticized an idol
dailyday6 i agreee
I agree.
The question is what is the difference between an idol and an artist? For me at least idol is a person who diversely entertains and participates in different TV shows. Of course music, singing and dancing are important but I do feel they somehow have a different role compared to what they mean to artist. I loved that Junhyeok pointed out the criticism about idols singing, so true.
At this part of the episode, when they point out that they are paying more attention to the dance "because of him" I couldn't help but think "yeah, maybe, but he's a good singer, a great one, he will do perfectly fine in their performance, but, will you???!!". It angered me so much. He was looking out for the team, not because he was lazy or something!
Sorry but i think he's already good in singing and he's weak at dancing n should focus it more. Other member are also good at singing too like Jun, Chan ..but they're also good in dancing too..being a group idol they must hv a whole package
Jun is literally perfect. He can rap, sing and dance. I stan the right person
chan being a leader is amazing!!
jun and chans voice kills me
Lol how can they not know the song? Im younger then all of them and not korean and I know it😂😂😂 and Chan really is talented so young!
Cause school is soooo strict in there
its probably that they didnt know but more like they werent used to it or as familiar with it
Same!
CHAN SO ADORABLE
Low key shocked that they didn't know the song. Under which rock must they have lived? I mean, even if you don't know the original song, there have been so many covers of this song by other artists throughout the years ...
DreamyCassie honestly. Even I know this song and I literally just got into kpop😂😂
DreamyCassie except onejun he knows the song. As he is the oldest(88 liner) among the boys. Like he said he was in the seventh grade while the rest where younger. He is the true MVP of this group.
How could they have never heard of perfect man by Shinhwa! That song is amazing.
Exactly like what I'm thinking...perfect man ...I'm Indonesian and I know this song😂
I'm quite sure Jun knew the song because he talked in an earlier insta live about his members (of U-KISS) doing a cover at a concert which he either saw or was part of. They said no one knew it at first because he wasn't there, he was at a schedule.
Theyre too busy to be watching other groups covers
Chan is so kind and talented. Miss our unb vocalist.
CHAN IS CUTE AND HANDSOME AAAAA ILY CHAN! PLEASE DO WELL! JUNHEE TOO ❤
I really love Chan and Rayoon friendship 😭
"Focus more on dancing then singing" and that is where the problem lies. You should be practicing both. That guys was right pointing out how they didn't practice their singing. Good or not they're not singing by themselves individually. They are a group and need to practice being in tone with each other harmonizing. If you don't learn how to sing together it'll end in a mess. So that guy saying they haven't practice the singing was right. So the focus shouldn't just be dancing. And that other guy telling him they were doing it because of him was wrong. Those guys doing everything they can to work hard but as pointed out the others have yet to accommodate them. The singers are doing it taking the punches but yet the others have not been willing
jun is adorable
Huynh Pledis Stan SO CUTE! 😩
a pledis stan I thought this was the jun from ace😅
😍😍
Jun busy filming his drama but managed to dance perfectly.. And he was telling the truth when he said that he can focus perfectly
Too bad Junhyeok is really underrated. Think he was right about the singing practice. I wish him the best!!!
U KISS Jun was not here due to his busy schedule.. but still managed to get 1st!😍
As a Shinhwa fan since 1999, I'm sad that some of them didn't know the song, but happy that One Junn was behind it from the start.
2:39 everyone questioning Jun is representing all of us XD what can't he do
I really respect Junhyeok
BTS ARMY i want him to debut solo...seriously he's too good of a singer to be in a manufactured idol group..
kimimi ralte he already debuted 1 month ago, try search: 임준혁 stay 😊😊😊
Ace chan's face as thumbnail cover is so funny XD. As if he SMILE THROUGH PAIN 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
2:09 i appreciate improvisation from junhyeok., I really love this team 😊😊😊
THE BEST COVER FROM THIS MISSION !!!
Chanminie agree with you 😊😊😊
HAHAHAHA Channnn Oppa!!!! Your sooo all around awesome!
Poor Jungha. During the practice when the others are singing his face just looked so "omfg they're all so much better than me wtf am I doing here" but he did well in the end
Does anyone know which song he chose originally? I can't imagine him doing Fire or Heartbeat lol
Ikr
My fave unproblematic talented king Kang Yuchan💖💖 #acefighting
LEE JUNGHA AND CHAN!!!!!! MY BABIES
I’m very late getting into survival shows lol. Dancing and singing are both important, the difference is singing needs to be a constant training while dancing is more of a one time intense training. Everyone can remember choreography, the trick is that it needs to become muscle memory, it needs to be fully interiorised in your body so you don’t have to think about the choreography when you’re performing. Because during a performance is much more important to focus on attitude and singing, dancing has to be fully interiorised. You can improve quickly on choreography if you practice it over and over for the next couple of days but when it comes to singing training you need much more time. I think the best thing is to focus on each individual’s weaknesses, if your weakness is dancing practice the choreography over and over if your weakness is singing just focus more on training your singing rather than dancing. Idols need to be good at everything, and as a group they all need to work well together so everything is important at the end of the day. It is really not easy and I do feel bad for any idol that receives any amount of hate for their performances.
chan!! iloveyou!!!
CHAN😍♥️
If Jun doesn't make it, everyone at KBS is catching hands, and I mean that from the very bottom of my heart🙇🏿 I really felt bad for Jungha😢
taeterthot he’s first rn
Richie Morgan I hope it stays that way!! Things can change so quickly😥
There are so many "Jun/Joon"s in this group, I have no idea who's actually who
Ravenstar2296 he is a member of a 10 year group called ukiss, he is the maknae
Young Light There is also another Jun and another Jun😂
Jun ACE, JunQ, oneJun, Jun UKISS, junhyeok 😂
Ravenstar2296 you basically me when i first watch them😂😂😂 to many juns here. I even asked ppl which jun is in the group when i first watch about them😂😂😂
IM ONLY HERE FOR JUUUUN HE'S SO ADORABLE AND TALENTED how can a rapper sing so good
Chan singing is wow
Am i the only that thinks the one with the blonde hair looks like woojin from straykids?
Hasanthie Mendis +1
I thought I was the only one xD he rly does looks like him
I keep accidentally calling him woojin
Rayoon?
that's MVP Rayoon.
CHANSHINEEE!!! LOVEEE!
Thank you kbs!!!! I get to see UKISS Jun💓💓💓💓💓
Jun ukiss fighting ggg perfect man was a perfect performance
to understand what is the importance of the advice of the junhyeok best sincer just look on the video with rain that the winner did, there are a great dancer but exeption for the vocalist and jiwon and boys that were singing well, u can notice that there is lack of good singing, most people critisize on the comment; just look; so what he is saying is to be a good dancer is not enough ; u have to sing well, and most of groupe have good dancer, but the vocal performance is doing the difference with the audience and vote; so please , i feel that this guy has good heart; so wish him and jun and the rest to get better on the show; fighting
yea tbh i can't really tell between a average dance and a good dance (as long as no one obviously does the wrong move) but vocal quality is very obvious to me. (lol maybe thats why i stan mamamoo)
Jun 2:35 part was so lit! if he's sing that part must be great.
Wow I must be an old maid to know this song. This song came out when I was in elementary.
me too! im surprised they didnt know this song
"Are you really a rapper?" them to Jun hehe nope, he's an all-rounder
I thought everyone knew this song 🤯🤯 I’m so shocked, even I knew this song from back then and I’m not even from Korea. Like Shinwa paved the way for so many Korean Idols- vocally , visually and choreography wise.
CHAN!
*singing and dancing are both equally important in an idol group.* i feel like in this competitive environment of the unit, you should try to improve on your weak points, while also showcasing your strong points. while Junhyeok is an excellent vocal, his dance was kind of weak. P.K had a point, although he was sorta rude abt it :/
yeongkyu (PK) is blunt and as someone who's everything is dance, the way junhyeok dismissed dancing was likely making him upset. as well as the fact none of the members lacked in singing or rap so the point of practicing vocals more makes little sense when there were more weak dancers (3) to weak vocals (1)
what junhyeok said was true though, just look at the number of people who criticize twice for their singing vs mamamoo for their dance
But who is more known
How have they not heard of this song. It's my favorite Shinhwa song.
I was so confused as to why only one person chose perfect man when its such a good somg to show off your dance and singing ability even bts sang this song also I was shocked that only one person knows the song when even I know the song and Im only 12! Its sad that not a lot of people know perfect man.... but anyways they did an amazing job and chan and jun’s vocals are on point! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I wasnt even born when they released it 😂
1:02 can I say how much I love Rayoon's English pronunciation? He's sooo good like the way he said "Perfect Man"
and i feel like he was so underrated in the whole The Unit... (I feel like this part practice scene was the only time Rayoon had screen time often compared to other episodes) TT He was a backup dancer for BTS~
Why is no one talking about the fact that nearly all of them didn't know the song and Chan probably the youngest in the group being 5 years old when the song was released and also didn't know the song, but he was still the one who taught them the choreo?
He is really underappreciated
Even during UNB feeling music video filming.. During their practice Jun wasn't around bcz of his Japan schedules. As soon as he arrived in the filming set he practiced the choreography in only 2HRS
Uhh...am i the only one who disagree with the guy who said idol groups are meant to prioritize dancing more than singing.... because das hella wrong... if u do a damn good job in dancing but your singing is crap that doesnt make you an idol..it makes you a dancer..what idols want is to be recognized as a singer yet hes saying idols are opposite?? Where is he getting that info? Wikipedia?
i bet he said it wrongly i mean they all already mastering the dance except junhyuk jungha and herin and they sing well too. dance practice took more time and those 3 still cant keep up, they need to sync everything, i bet that's what OneJun want to say.
He should just join a superstark n become solo artist
ff ff then he would have to face JYP again 😭 he debuted & left day6 for personal reasons, he felt like he was holding his band down because of a controversy. This is why he is on THIS SHOW. I just don’t want Junhyeok to go through what happened before.
Its kinda tru you kinda have to be at least very good at dancing i mean look at itzy they are an amazing group and lia being main vocal but not an amazing dancer yet like her members she constantly gets backlash for not dancing as good as other dancers so he speaks the truth about they should focus on dance when most idols are usually good at singing
PK (?) or whatever, was so rude to junhyeok like, everyone’s trying. But to put on a performance the singing is important too, good job to junhyeok for defending the value of singing.
CHRISTY W. he wasn’t rude at all
CHRISTY W. lol he wasnt rude at all? they have multiple ppl on the team without dance training, including junhyuk, obviously they need to spend more time on dance (which is more time intensive anyways).
He'll be the future lipsync idol. I bet. Lol
He wasn't rude at all..junhyuk needs.more peactice in dancing cuz he's already good in singing..
junhyuk has a good point and the other has a good point too but it's just they didnt sit down to talk the problem properly, in recent episode at dance practice for album mission, i watched seyong said something to junhyuk like: 'you meant to sing, for someone who never dance, you're doing good with dancing, but we need to good in everything.' and in this episode junhyuk still far behind the others, dancing took more time to practice than singing but the team didn't say it properly and they are all tired that's why pk sounds so rude for some people.
I'm happy about Junhyeok. Maybe it's JYP teaching.
CHANSHINE IS A BABY AKSKALAKAKAL
i love how rayoon teach jun the choreo and speaks up about jungha having to sing. but knetz drop his ass im suing
I was really surprised that only one of them knew the song, like he said, the song is a masterpiece, and they didn't expect a lot from this group since they were a lot of rejects from other groups but i think they did really good! I mean they placed third!
actually junhyeok was right i think...the group with many vocalist often got high votes in this show right?
Rayoon could pass as Taeyong's older brother
Figthing #TeamRed💪😇❤❤
Lee jungha My baby boy😊im so proud of you😇😘💞
#Godbessguys😇😘❤💖💞..
I stg this is the cutest team 😂😍
My first reaction was, how did they not know this song😂
Me too. Even for non-SHCJ, I know this song since I liked KPOP 10 years ago!
My expression was like, under what rock they've been living for not knowing this song? Perfect Man is literally the most famous song among all songs that covered
Did anyone notice that harin had an injury on his left arm? Yet he managed to slay the stage?? I wish he's not underrated ohmy....
Rewatching this and I feel very warm starting from the 1st 10 seconds, because the audience is made up of all of these younger fans of 2nd/3rd generation groups, yet they all started excitedly yelling *_"Shinhwa!"_* when _"The Oldest Idol Group (Still Actively Promoting) Existing in Korea"_ was mentioned.
Never forget your roots, kids.
Chaaan
3:43 you can hear jeup singing in the background :))
i love how they all just said SHINHWA yes it's shinhwa the legend gosh how much i love them ❤
Agree singing and dance both important
Perfect Man never get old
JDIDI i love how they presented Shinwha aaaah my babies(?) Jajaj and the team red did a good job
Omg i know the song cuz of seventeen and i suddenly feel proud i do hahaha i was obssesed with it for a bit
Jun💗
Is it just me or when Jun sing the high note he look like bang yedam from YG
2:37
junhyuk has a good point and the other has a good point too but it's just they didnt sit down to talk the problem properly, in recent episode at dance practice for album mission, i watched seyong said something to junhyuk and i'm glad seyong said that to him, like: 'you meant to sing, for someone who never dance, you're doing good with dancing, but WE NEED TO GOOD IN EVERYTHING.' and in this episode junhyuk still far behind the others, dancing took more time to practice than singing but the team didn't say it properly and they are all tired that's why pk sounds so rude for some people.
It's so surprising they didn't know the song considering I did and I'm way younger than them😂. I discovered this song in 2014 which was my first year in KPOP and I remember how I was OBSESSED with the song.
How could they not know Perfect Man such a great song
Oh channie channieeeee
i mean i understand that the team members are being harsh at jun hyeok and jungha's dancing, but it seemed a little too harsh on this episode. If they don't know how to do it well, shouldn't they just help them improve and practice instead of saying that they're not cool?
Lee jungha improved alot! Fighting!
I have heard of the song and I got into Kpop five years ago😂 These kids are cute😊
Energizer, Junnie 💕
How can be possible that they didn't know it?😮 I wasn't even alive at the time of it's release (it's older than me by few months😭), and I know the song (and love it♡) 😂
i really love chan nd jun
One Junn did well and I am proud of him for knowing Shinhwa perfect man. He is super talented and an amazing guy I wish he was still in the show.
I hope Boy's Republic has a comeback if Suwoong and Seungjun don't make it in the final group. Either way if they do or don't I just want a comeback please!!! Boy's Republic fighting! Seungjun and Suwoong fighting!
(Also at the start of the second comment I am not wishing for Suwoong or Seungjun to fail at all. I want them to succeed very much but if it does not happen I just want a Boy's Republic comeback right away!)
Watching survival shows is always stressful for me but for some reason this one felt really...tense? I don't know if the stakes were just higher or what...I can't explain it. Personally, I agree with Junhyeok on the singing vs dancing debate. Yes, you need to have the dance down, but idols first and foremost are performers, and singing is a huge part of that. (Personally thought the other guy's reply was a little...harsh...but maybe that's just me? ^^')
I also agreed with the vocal teacher and Chan--glad Jungha got to sing!!
Even, i know this song... I know SHINHWA because of so many my favorite idol cover it... And love them since 2011, after SM doing special performance in 2011 SBS Gayo Daejun with SHINHWA song, T.O.P
Okay but y'all I was three when the song was released but even I knew it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 cause Shinhwaaaaaaa
As for the dancing vs. singing thing -I see why the dance practices are so important but even though I'm a dancer and I focus more on the dancing, if a performance doesn't have voices that blend well together and flow nicely together then it just kills the vibe of the song unless I mute the video and just focus on the dance -so really, both should be given enough time
when jun sing the 1 boy reaction to jun what r u not u rapper are u sure hhehehheshe is amazing for everything
Lee jungha, rayoon, junhyeok ❤❤❤
eHM- THIS SONG WAS RELEASED BEFORE I WAS EVEN BORN AND EVEN I KNOW IT.
bro how do you not know Perfect Man, that song is iconic af
This part made me stan one junn but he got eliminated right after 💔
I think Junhyeok saying that they should focus on singing is great but he has to know the show is debuting a group that can sing and dance, even if his skilled at singing he has to work very hard to dance. It's not right for them go say one is important over the other because both will be beneficial. Like example MAS they are a band but they slowly were dancing by Darwin lead and they were capable of singing and dancing for the evaluation and were praised for it but the problem with it is when they were dancing Junhyeok was like trying to phase the tension with smiling but as Chan said they would get cursed at, its not they will be present badly cause vocal skills if they don't practice singing but if they dance horribly people will say they aren't capable of being an idol if they can't do what a idol does and it's both singing and dancing and is a messy group.
whose Darwin? he didn't say they should focus on singing. he say they didn't practice singing at all. see the difference? he acknowledge he's lacking..
dayah saidin autocorrect MAS Dongmyeong, yea I know the difference but the thing is they haven't practice singing a lot but they have 2 people who aren't the best at dancing which can hurt them and it did and yes I know he acknowledges it but Junhyeok got eliminated besides that if you are vocally strong, you should know the balance between harsher tone and a softer tone and your volume. Even the other teammate say they are practicing dancing because of him (plus they might have practice vocals without some unaired scenes, so we never know). If you are an "idol group" and don't have an impact many will not pay attention to you. (I put quotation marks becauss that's who the show is debuting)
1) "Junhyeok got eliminated" - from the unit? nope he isn't.. if you mean other things, phrase it correctly because I don't understand you.
2) "besides that if you are vocally strong, you should know the balance between harsher tone and a softer tone and your volume" -what are you trying to imply?
3) "plus they might have practice vocals without some unaired scenes" - he might have practice dancing while no one is watching too. you do your assumption, I do mine.
4) " "idol group" and don't have an impact many will not pay attention to you." - based on performance alone, only Jun, Chan & One Jun attract my attention. Rayoon attract many fans too based on YT comments.
Lastly, MAS say it in the first episode that they just start dancing for 6 months. sowe can say that they have basic. As for Domyeong, he's been in Produce 101, he can handle this show well, with his experience.
dayah saidin well I didn't see him that much in the recent episodes so it seem he was eliminated but yea mb but what I'm saying is if you see the next evaluation like example MelodyDay Yeo Eun knew how to control her volume and she is vocally balance when she sings in their group she knew when to control her tone because she's a power vocal even Hwang Chi Yeol said that or Jeup he is vocally balanced where he knows when to sing in a high tone/high notes or sing in a medium tone (for more relaxed chorus and small break downs of the song, like Miracles in December performance) since he is a skilled vocalist and like Jun of U-kiss he is a rapper but can still find a way to balance out during the whole performance (like a raspy and airy voice but stills has a medium tone where we can hear him singing, im not implying that we can't hear the others but depending on your voice and tone and the way you project your voice it comes out better than others) and when (for all examples) they performed they had good reactions when they sang their parts (also not implying that the audience didn't find the other parts not amusing). For #3 we could agree and disagree, that's why I said we never know and for #4 we agree that some have more impact than others. Plus Junhyeok wonder why dance should come first and it's because there team has weak dancers, and again as I said their team have some members who aren't the best dancer so it make sense for most of them to practice dancing a lot but there is the lack of singing but they did help each other at the end and came with a good performance.
Edit: I mention Dongmyeong because he was not the best dancer for the 1st center evaluation but if we look at him during "All Day" he was and "average" dancer forsake and danced pretty well (I have no clue what level to put him as an dancer, so I said average.) but during pd 101, he still wasn't like that good but was there at some points. Yea MAS is like basic dancers but they had to learn all the so call "idol dances" where it's hard.
Edit 2: Darwin is actually Daewon from MADTOWN. I'm not even reading my own comment, smh.
I don't have time to read your long comment. Junhyeok is still there in the show means he gain some support. that is also an important points of being an idol. whether through singing or dancing, each has their own specialty. You can give a whole length of comment about vocal or whatever, people have different preference. You try so hard to put down on Junhyeok while in recent episode, his team member accepted him well without putting down on him.
junhyeok sounds amazing
Jungha so cute and handsome poor boy
But perfect man the first time I know about kpop xDD Now I feel so old :'v :'v :'v
Okay.....that was quite harsh he couldve put it in alot better words. Vocal and dance, they are both important
