    I've had my sebo x4 for 3 years now and it is great! I haven't had any problems with it at all and it's not too heavy. I like it a lot, and I prefer the bag because I can just take it out and throw it away, pop a new one on and done! No messy filters to touch or wash or clean out. Much cleaner and less maintenance, so much better than bagless vacuums!😎

    The thing I love about this channel, is that it's very realistic. It's based on real world situations and not some sales rep bullshit. My dad owned a Kirby for 20 years, and I purchased a Dyson around early 2020. I'm thinking of upgrading to either a Airsign, or a zero g, since its in my price range. My dad was persuaded to spend 2000 on the Kirby, which did a great job. I even noticed the difference between the horse hair brushes and the nylon brushes Dyson uses. But since I suffer from asthma, it's really nice to know pressure tested data, rather than lab tested data. You need both. I'm an air purifier enthusiast, its very fascinating to see how technology used in space and on nuclear weapons can be used in the house. And how much it can make a difference to your overall health. Plus the designs are so cool, I grew up in love with airplanes, sky scrapers, and roller coasters. I love science and design, its so much fun. Strangely vacuums and air cleaners are very similar to those subjects.

    • @davidhunternyc1
      @davidhunternyc1 Před rokem +2

      Wow, Thanks for the heads up to the Airsign vacuum. Love, love it's minimalism. A far more simpler Miele. A vacuum needs to vacuum, that's it but vacuums today go overboard with whistles and bells.

    I've owned an X4 for 12 years and absolutely love it. My floors are half tile and half carpet and it cleans both beautifully and automatically adjusts between the two surfaces. Now I'm ready to add a Sebo canister so I have a vacuum for each floor of the house, plus it will be easier to do the stairs. I recently got rid of a Miele because the Sebo is so superior. Thank you for the informative video!

    Thaniks to this review took an E3 home today. Used my Baird airflow gauge to compare to my 4 other vacs. From best to worst: Miele Blue Moon (8), Miele UniQ/Sebo E3 (7), Sebo Felix (6.5), Miele Capricorn (6). Blue Moon isn't stock - is retrofitted with one of Miele's first Vortex motor. Sound wise it seems as quiet as the Miele UniQ, and quieter than the other Mieles and Felix. On ultra plush carpet, the E3 is far easier to push power brush over carpet than the Felix.

    Hello, just wanted to send a thank you to you for the information you've provided in your videos. A vacuum cleaner isn't a small purchase for us. At the same time, I'm not looking for something that's a pain in the ass to lug around for many years, like my old Dyson. Particularly given the fact I've always been a pet owner and this machine has done an inferior job on pet hair this entire time. At this point I don't own anything that does have dog hair on it. And truly, I've never had to wrestle a vacuum while using it, the way I have this Dyson. We're going to bite the bullet and get a SEBO E3 Onyx. It's causing a bit of sticker shock but with our floors being a combination of 200-year-old wide pine floors and area rugs we think this makes sense for getting the floors and furniture good and clean. I'm particularly hoping it will do a much better job at pulling dirt and small debris from between floorboards. In an old antique home like this there can be fairly wide gaps between the boards that catch grit and pet hair. My old vacuum is not picking that up unless I use a brush attachment on the wand and vacuum every inch of the cracks between boards. It takes FOREVER! Anywho! Wish us luck! We're off to buy a new vacuum. And thank you again for the time you take to share information with consumers.

    Hi! My home is 2600 sqft, with stairs, but is entirely hard floor (LVP), with a few area rugs (ranging from low to high pile). No pets, but my wife has long hair that tends to tangle on roller brushes. I went to a reputable local dealer and was steered towards a Sebo canister (K3 or E3) over a Miele, which I’m fine with because of the longer warranty, similar performance for a slightly better price, and the easily removable brush roller on the ET-1. I’m having trouble deciding between the K3, E3, or perhaps a K2. The cost isn’t an issue per se, but I don’t want to pay for more than I need. I’m worried the K3 or E3 would be overkill, since I wouldn’t be using the functionality of the electric power nozzle except for on the rugs. However, if the K3 or E3 are overall better machines and have other important advantages, I could be persuaded. Would be grateful for any advice!

    Hey @Performance Reviews. I’m considering an E3 premium or a Dyson V15 (I know very different machines) as my only vacuum cleaner for a mixture of low and high pile carpet and hard floors. What would you recommend here for cleaning and filtration performance? Dyson advertises whole machine HEPA filtration to 0.1 microns for the V15 hence it’s a contender? Sebo appears to be S class to 0.3 only? What would your honest opinion be, given you’re one of the few CZcamsrs who appear to know their stuff?

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  Před rokem +2

      I think you'll find the v15 won't do high pile carpet easily if at all. The design of the V10/V11/V15 has quite a loose fit on its HEPA filter. This will cause it to leak after taking it off a few times. So be prepared to change those filters a couple times a year. Furthermore it being Bagless means you need to go outside and empty and wash it which negates filtering it out in the first place. You're also dealing with the machine that has less than half the performance of most vacuum cleaners. If you want to stick vacuum I would recommend the LG A9 over the Dyson v10/v11/v15. Again those are for quick pickups not designed to be your only machine. The SEBO filtration is some of the best in the business. That being said if you have bubble boy allergies you might look at something with an exhaust HEPA filter like the SEBO K3 has optional,Miele C3 or Lindhuas HF6.

    • @sebousa
      @sebousa Před rokem +1

      This is a very fair question, S L. The Felix is INCREDIBLY durable, as the power head detaches and you can throw an attachment on the end of the hose and use it as a canister. The D4 has a foam bumper that circles around the canister to keep it from being damaged by wall corners OR from damaging any walls. Happy to answer any other questions you may have.

      Anti-tangle is a marketing lie most of those machines tingle more than normal machines. Sebo's can handle just about anything you throw at them.

    If you are 'based OUT of the US', you are not INSIDE the US, but some other country. I guess he means he is 'based IN the US.' (And why do Americans also say 'based OFF' something? If you are based ON something, you have a basis under you; if you are off-base...? You can't be 'based' and 'off' the base at the same time.)
