Colombo, Sri Lanka ➖ One of my favourite things to do when visiting another country is checking out the local markets to see a bit of the local life. It's also a great way to see if my bargaining skills are still good enough to grab some good deals! I knew there were a couple of things that I need in order to fit right in with the locals - Sri Lanka Cricket shirt and Sri Lanka hat. What I didn't expect was I would end up getting Cricket pants and another Cricket shirt! And of course, it wouldn't be a perfect day without some refreshing coconuts to combat the Sri Lankan heat. Brother you spent too much for the jersey and the bottom, jersey just cost Rs.1500 and the bottom cost around Rs.1200 you can buy an authentic jersey and a bottom for that price range,I’m from 🇱🇰 as well.
I don't mind paying tourist prices in countries like Sri Lanka when here in the west we are paying 90% mark up price, made in Sri Lanka for $3 sold in the US for $50.

I'm from Sri Lanka & gotta say that this is day light robbery, you could buy an original Sri Lanka cricket jersey from supermarkets for 2900, that goes down even further when you order online through platforms like Daraz for 2200 (delivery charges included). The cricket shirt being bought in a market for 3000 is not worth, most of the times they sell replicas
How you tell the difference between replica and original? Are these small shops always replicas?

You have to be careful, the price you are paying is too much, they are so happy because you over pay them.
