Payback: improvement from 2015 but suffers due to microtransaction and loot boxing with getting upgrade for parts
And then again its upgrade system sucks
Kuru: impersonates Ronnie
Any game heâs playing: N O
They may have bad physics. But when you press that NOS button, feels like you going in warp speed which is kinda nice.
That effect was more intense in Heat man
Pro street has the best n20 in my opinion.

Yeah. Payback has good gameplay when you use nitro
The problem with Payback's lighting I've always noticed is some areas are overly bright like the skybox always has a sunrise in the background and the city feels way too bright for being at night.
The handling of this game actually felt pretty smooth when it works.
True, but they perfected the smoothness of B2D in Rivals, regarding the NFS franchise. It wasn't perfect because it had jankiness, but taking a good turn in Rivals was the most satisfying in all of B2D NFS.
when you slam the handbrake and brake at the same time for a fraction of a second and then the car kicks out forwards, or when you hit a 500m long drift, man it's amazing
1 thing that burned my brain was tha if you upgrade the brakes you will get extra HORSEPOWER! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE.
Bonus perks
uh the heat goes into the brakes instead of the engine so less heat more hp
well in real world better brakes give you ACCESS to higher horse power, cuz if you upgrage everything except brakes, you riding dead.
more usable hp perhaps. from shortening braking distance.
No no, you have it backwards. You upgrade your horsepower to improve your brakes silly.
Seriously why are there no stand alone brake upgrades?
I like how Kuru dressed up as Ronnie. Made me laughđđđ. Kiss me I'm irish

5:31 r/pirfect timing
_Need for Speed Payback has a awful physics_
*The Crew 2:* _Hold my beer_
Payback is miles better than crew 2
The offroad races are way better, in crew 2, the offroad races are bullshit, u just race in a lifeless track with your ghost with no one else, in payback its more realistic
The drag races always require good acceleration, which payback had. in crew 2, the car starts drifting out of nowhere and then starts jumping like nonsensical physics
Payback nailed the progression, the storyline was enjoyable atleast for me, crew 2 progression sucks, just earning followers
TC2 is bullshit, Ubisoft entirely is just bullshit, I rly paid 10 dollars and its nowhere worth it, even graphics was a cheat

I've got payback from ps plus. I saw it has very cool body customizations etc. And that is the reason Imma play it.
Saaaame, got it for customisation and it was free with ps plus
I'll be honest homie, heat has identical customization, looks better, more cars, and isn't a microtransaction riddled mess. Payback was free on PS+, but heat is so much better, trust
@@ethan2670 the entire reason I got payback was because it was free, need for speed payback isn't a game I would pay full price for, plus I have no money
I love the handling off the cars.
And the best thing is that you can drive with 300 kmh in a curve and you can just drift to success.
SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH
@@callumjones9664 that's fair, just wanted you to know that Heat was definitely the better game haha

And yet it's get a freaking 9/10 on Steam reviews (the highest rated NFS on Steam since HP2010 original) which is hilariously absurd when this game done bitch-slapped the shit out of F&F Crossroads without even have to try pog
truly 2020 had got to be the strangest year I've been conceived so far, I wish I could live much longer to witness the eventual good NFS game though
How can this get 9/10???
@@soldadoryanbr7776 guess we'd just conclude that as another one of those questions science still cannot answer
Out of 2015 Payback and Heat, Payback is the best of them. It has a working handling model, good offroading, no cringe story and a working collision system. Even tough the cop chases are only available in specific events, I had the most fun in them compared to the 2 other games.
Payback is hands down the best Post-Carbon NFS.
Well who do you think would rebuy it again to review it on Steam? People that liked it, if you take, everyone who bought the game, and have them all re review, it would sit higher than Crossroads, but by how much, certnatly could be less than even Undercover, actualyl that is also positive on steam fuck me.
This game was actually decent compared to heat and games like undercover (on the ps3) because it was really fun at times and the upgrade system was something you had to grind on (apart from the microtransactions, those can die). The physics just made the game a meme, and the car list was pretty good. Plus, this game gave us the meme "Money bro!"
are you out of your mind heat was leagues ahead of payback
@@BarnacleThe2nd Mate youâre just writing out an essay to yourself at this point.
Heat still provided where it did. And what looks like a return to form. No major update has and will come unfortunately due to EA shutting down Ghost (Assholes).
You liking all that is pretty much what everyone bloody hated. Upgrade system was hated, not that it forced you to grind, or that it didn't, its just it was random, and if you wanted something it would matter of F you, or F them.
The exploration part is bit iffy, yes you didn't have much to look for, but who in right mind would force someone to do jumps or other random stuff to just customize their car, even Underground 2 with its open world forcing you to find the stores, gave you all the parts once you did and didn't care after. The cops issue is of Heat itself, it focuses on combat with no real way to fight them, you take damage whatever you do, there is no pursuit breakers, if it was like Payback it would be too easy since inf health, so there needed to be something.
And the distinct classes, is one of reasons it was also disliked. Now in Prostreet and Shift it makes sense since, legal racing and having different disciplines, alright, but here? I have to buy mutlple of same car just to use it every i want, and i can't tune it for everything but to what its class descripted. Heat does this prob best, it may not have tuning of Underground 2 or Prostreet, but you still had freedome from sheer speed, offroading, or a mix, and that freedom is what makes Heat much better. Can't talk much of Online, i don't consider NFS an online game plus only non trash Online i played was MW 2012 since it was creative. Plus i don't know what strategy you talk of, a racing game, i can definitely say though Heat has shortcuts, less obvious i agree, but they were there. And im sorry but you cannot say pursuits were shit because you just did doughnuts, unless you experiment then even MW 2005 is shit.
@@thattonnatoguywithafez8246
Interesting opinion tbh. While Heat had a better upgrade system and more interesting gameplay, in general I enjoyed payback a lot more and a lot longer than heat.
The physics in both heat and payback are glitchy, but no one can deny there was so much more clipping and problems in heat.
The upgrade system sure was random in payback, but that made it harder to get better parts and when you got the best parts you felt accomplished or finally finished building perfection. Not everyone liked it but it had a nice trick to it.
The classes I was talking about refers to there actually being other classes like drag, speedcross and runner that all made some interesting gameplay. Heat had classes, but a very small and limited one.
Heat died really fast and had no pvp at launch or implemented later. While I dont blame the devs as they couldnt do anything, its just another missed point for heat.
I dont hate heat, Im just saying no one can deny that payback had a lot more in its favor compared to heat, they are both good games, but payback in my opinion is given way too much crap for what it brought and what it had.
@@thattonnatoguywithafez8246
I do respect your opinion a lot, and I appreciate you giving your point of view, however what im trying to say is that the features and overall general game mechanics in payback were better than heat. While it wasnt that good of a game, it was fun to play, had pvp, had elevation for offroading, damage bar for payback enemies were much more balanced, it actually had drag races and interesting runner missions, super builds, abandoned cars and much more.

'nuff said.
I enjoyed this game so much more than Heat. Somehow the world of Payback feels a lot more lively and interesting and it's fun to just roam the map.
But....
Microtransactions to get upgrades, pay real money to get upgrade parts
@@RatedShadowXrd i mean, i've played it for about 50hrs now and finished story and haven't spent a single cent on the game
@Gremlin DS but the issue of the tuning cards in the game that its heavily implemented for heavy RNG to get the best performance where in other racing games, just buying parts is all that is needed. While its true that you can get them if you win races, but the system is bad design wise on how to improve car performance and its encourages some to spent real money for parts.
I'd say don't be a pilot in the police or a mafia cuz...

WHERE MY 2015 BLYAT!?
never in my 5 years of playing payback and beating it 6 times have i seen these glitches
I'm gonna be salty for a moment so bare with...
I wasted ÂŁ50 on a disc preorder of this game and got no bonuses.
Plus, the only reason I never processed that was from the amount of hype I got from watching BlackPanthaa at the time - INSTANT REGRET
Tbh at least I'm not mad towards him now and have resubbed since my "recovery" from rage.
At least it's taught me two lessons:
1. Never hype about anything anymore.
2. Only buy stuff after looking everywhere at everything about it and buy it at least a year later or at incredible discount.
Ngl it's a shame I've not enjoyed getting the latest NFS like I used to - even with the crazy back-&-forth with negativity and positivity with the community, but I enjoyed them just because of not having any prior feedback from anyone else...

if u can microdrifting you going to realize, the payback has the best handling in the nfs history ever
Bad physics but was fun as heck and hard online xD
Heat is probably the best need for speed since pro street and carbon and the 2012 most wanted and maybe rivals
And then ppl say that payback is better then heat
NFS Payback had physics similar to NFS II SE but NFS II SE had even worse physics and handling but it was a classic
Also the handling with a really fast GNX is wacc
i bought it on amazon for 40, played it for a week and sold it for 50 on ebay lol

Actually after completing the story in payback there are some cruising drivers to beat, 30 billboards to smash, 100 coins to collect and 5 derelict cars to find and tune
LOL. I have 475h in this game and I have never seen this glitch with Jess clipping through the roof.
To be fair, Payback isn't a bad game. It's just a game I'd delete if my PS4 is out of space.

I know that i'll sound weird but i do like the gambling system for the tuning because it's a game about gambles.
Huh u kinds right

omg that jess glitch / bug is fucking scary
yea i agree BUT I've never had the jess out of car glitch or well any of the glitches shown (btw i play on ps4 so maybe its a pc only glitch) same with rivals ive never expirenced any glitches
