Papa Roach did Indeed listen with falling in reverse before it was fully finished. He loved it.
I thought it sounded slightly different, but I thought maybe it was because it was a recording of a recording. That makes more sense.
The original is great and it is a blast when they play it live. But this version has all the feels and allows one to hear all of the words so the impact is major. I love Ronnie's voice and his reimagined/revamped versions allow him to show that off. I love this so much that I have been watching every reaction video (even foreign language ones) so that I can have an excuse to listen to the song a million times. Lol
The more I hear this song the more love it.. this new version is going to expand the reach of the original song to a wider audience in a way that expresses the emotion so that you cant just ignore the message

So this would be the 200th time I've watched this video. I am admitting it, totally addicted. So unfortunately relatable to me. I don't give a damn who doesn't like him or why they don't like Ronnie, he's real. He doesn't sugar coat anything. Yes they are papa roach's words( thank you for that) but Ronnie has never been one to shy away from bringing up that mental health stigma and in this case so freaking beautifully!! The cinematics of the video are incredible, and accompany the instrumentals and Ronnie's vocals so perfectly. This is a masterpiece of a video.

There is a great video on YT where Ronnie is showing Jacoby Shaddix the song for the first time. You could see Ronnie was nervous. It wasn't the final version, but it was pretty close

Ronnie is a master of building up emotion in a song, teasing you with an expected burst to release what is bottled up but backing down at the last second, leaving you "unsatisfied", nervous on your chair waiting for the next burst. He does it many song and he's done that here. The first time I heard the song it was like having a dam keeping all the emotions there, hearing cracks and there.. until that "FINE" at 8:29 was like feeling something physically break inside me and all the emotions crashed like a tsunami. By the end of the song I noticed I was crying and I couldn't point out what exactly led me to it.. just a pure rush of emotions mixed together

The set is the SAME on they used for the Watch The World Burn music video, and the ending of this music video is almost the same BUT the world is being put back together it's NOT burning anymore.

I said this in an instagram comment and I am not ashamed to say it again ...I am 34 yo and have dealt with depression and very bad and dark experiences my whole life to the point of contemplating suicide. Though it was another band that saved me through their music (Disturbed), it took Ronnie and his beautiful voice and amazing lyrics and energy to help me start heal my soul. In other words, Disturbed saved my life but Ronnie and FIR is saving my soul. The power music has is beyond most people think.
Also whenever I listen to this song at the end all I can think about instead of "I'm running and I'm crying" is I am Roanning and i'm crying.

Okay WTF Ronnie! First he does this with his own songs, now he's covering other bands songs and doing the same thing? What can Ronnie NOT do someone please tell me, what can Ronnie Radke NOT make sound beyond words incredible? OMG! I LOVE this song and this makes me LOVE Ronnie and Falling in Reverse even MORE! Ronnie took a song that's been around for years, and NOT only did he cover the song, NO he made and entire new song. He gave the song an entire new meaning, feel, he made you FEEL the lyrics in your soul, he made you hear and feel the pain in his voice in the same way. Ronnie made this song into a cry for help, he made the song his own, and he poured his heart and soul into it, and it shows, but Ronnie does that with all of his music. Anyway this song HIT/SMACKED me HARD, the lyrics are so hauntingly beautiful and relatable I've been really struggling with depression for the last few weeks now. The last couple of days have been the worst, I've NEVER been this depressed in my life. There's a lot that I've been dealing with the last couple of weeks, and along with everything else I have to deal with I feel like this empty shell of a person, I don't feel like I'm living my life anymore. I've NEVER thought about taking my own life or cut myself and I NEVER would. BUT this song is depression/anxiety in a nutshell, the raw emotion in Ronnie's voice is insane. You can feel it in your soul literally OMG! I'd LOVE to see Falling in Reverse live, I'd lose my voice screaming the lyrics to all the songs they played. Popular Monster would make me have zero voice cause I'd scream the lyrics to that song so loud, I'd bawl my eyes out too, and if they played this song I'd cry harder.

Papa Roach's "Last Resort" was much faster paced, and was a bit of an "angry Teenager" style song. But with the same lyrics.
Many people used it to 'rage out' to after bad days at school, loosing a game, or just bad day in life in general.
For some of us though, it was a quit literal life-saver song, even in its faster-angrier-version.
Ronnie captures what this song was for those of us who were kept afloat by the original song. 😭💜

Ronnie Radke is a main character
It's so good. I have heard the original several times, but the lyrics didn't hit the same with the really heavy metal. I also have a hear loss and find some songs harder to process lyrically, I don't think I even really heard all of the lyrics in the original. It's easy to pick them out in Ronnie's version though. Much respect for Papa Roach for writing something so raw, but I also like this version better. I am going to have to check out more Papa Roach though, as soon as I'm done listen to this song a few hundrend times. 😅

Maybe an unpopular opinion but i wish Ronnie would've stayed a touch softer at the end. The screaming just doesnt quite fit with the whole rebuilding the city shots for me. Loved the song as a whole though
