      Conor’s soul-reading is an enormous part of his game. Even if the verbal/mental/psychological warfare doesn’t take place, he reads the other person like a book and takes that into the fight with him. You could tell it was effective with how easily he demolished Cerrone.

Khabib humiliated him but being humiliated and subdued isn't the same as repentance. Repentance involves remorse for how you've affected the world and the people around you and an intense desire to change. Conor could give a FOOK! lol I actually really like Conor, but the ego has to go.

    4:07 *”I am sitting down on shots.”* This is why I predicted he would lose to Poirier. He lost his movement. He chose power instead of “precision beats power, and timing beats speed.” He doesn’t need to sit on his shots, he needs to set traps, walk Dustin into them, and use his precision and timing to find that chin and temple shots.

    • @lalchungnungaralte9104
      @lalchungnungaralte9104 Před 2 lety +1

      @@lalchungnungaralte9104 *Sitting on shots is not good for his style.* He’s proven many times that precision beats power and timing beats speed, he also has speed and all of that combines to generate power. @vanpchamp Před 2 lety +1

      I would agree with you but if u recall back to the way he fought porier the first time he also "sat down on the shots" my take is that the movement of conor was already gone by the time porier had his rematch and Conor paid it dearly for sitting on the shots and not moving out of the way like he used to. I mean look at the trilogy conor was clinching and even pulled for a sub( he has literally never tried that before), and fighting by giving one to take one and looked very hittable in there unlike any other previous fights and I believe it's because of his stance and movements, he doesn't step out of range or slips , he just walks backwards and not even in his stance it's just not the same style that helped him become champ champ. Imo the notorious left with the pandemic or even floyd and now we just have a shell of a man who could have been one of the greats, shame.

    • @user-nv2wt4hi8t
      @user-nv2wt4hi8t Před 2 lety +3

      Spot on man, did you see his footwork vs Dustin in fight 2? Dreadfully flat footed and lumbering compared to his old self who was on the balls of his feet the whole time, always creating and changing angles and distance, mobile ready for whatever was thrown his way. What was he thinking focusing on a Pacquiao super-fight and coming into an MMA fight with all but a pure boxing style (with one kick thrown out every once a round)? It's like he's now unlearned everything what made him special from movement to not bulking up unnecessarily to avoiding more traditional, rigid styles.

Dude is a legend and has a great legacy i want to see him go out before he does further damage to himself most importantly but then his legacy..i dont want people to remember him for staying to long and basically being a punching bag

    There's a difference between a man obsessed with being the best vs a man that's just doing what he loves. People hated on Conor so much for his cocky bad attitude, but you have to realize, the man was on a mission. There wasn't time for humility and small talk polite customs. When you're that focused, and that obsessed with a goal, you can't allow anybody to find your weaknesses. But now Conor has already achieved everything he wanted to. At this point, he's just having fun. I believe that both of his personalities are only a representation of the goals he's trying to reach.

    Wow for once I'm not happy or mad about who won or lost, I am just truly happy for one of my favorite fighters and Connor. And Mostly for the fact cowboy's finally getting what he is worth and deserves and Connor really has changed my mind in my opinion of him since he's went on his little rampage since winning the lightweight belt then going on a crazy hiatus punching some old man in a bar in the process. Honestly can't believe Im saying this but Connors earned back every bit of my respect plus some. Most importantly, I can look in his eyes and I believe everything he is saying .
