- Displaying some of the highlights of the Grapefruit Trails in Palm Bay, Florida. Highlights includes the New GFT Single Track. Such a fun place to ride!
I just rode this place for the first time today. It's not big or sprawling but it packs an enormous amount of features in a small area. There are some pretty challenging and sketchy features out there, but most have bypasses, as long as you take heed of the signage. Now that I know the layout of the place I'll be more confident to send some of the jumps next time I'm out there. Cool place.
Nice work, I live in Melbourne and have just started riding GFT after 20 yrs off of the trail. It really is a great place to ride and a lot of fun. It can be intimidating to new riders as there is a certain skill level you need for that place. I use to ride Santos in Ocala when I was younger so Ive been able to pick it up pretty quickly, but I'm still not riding everything out there...no drops for me yet LOL.
Same for me Drew I just got back into it as well. I ride GFT or the connector trail to Turkey Creek. Lots of fun!
Played in the place as kid at my friends house. I remember kids calling death mountain lol I’m 22 now and just drove around looking for the trails when I was in the area and finally found it.

Nice, just send the jumps deeper and get more speed and you’ll clear them!
I was thinking the same exact thing, but then I went there over the weekend to walk around (No Bike) and these jumps are frickin crazy… The guy shooting the vid, respect to him, but he didn’t go down some of these other trails and paths, complete “neck-break alley” in a good way. If this guy sends it anymore beyond his abilities there, one slight miscalculation and the day is over. But, not gonna get better if you dont send it….. I can’t wait to get a bike, I will be a regular here. The mountain climbing place nearby is awesome too, cheap.
My kid just started at Florida Tech. Any local bike shops that rent mtb's when i come visit?

What a different style of mtb trails, very interesting. Im in the north east and never seen anything like this. Is this spot worth riding as a destination? Any recommendations in fla to shred?
Been out of bikes a long time. What brand would take the punishment and not fall apart.
Anything with good competents. I ride a Trek Roscoe 7. Its a 27.5 plus hard with airfork. Its pretty solid. Has a crappy rear hub but i like it

Is there a place to rent bikes near by?
Compared to other parks ive seen, this one looks littered with trash or whatever they could find laying around to cover the sand. They need to take some pride and clean the place up using 1-2 types of media and cut back those weeds. Living in FL i can imagine that place turning into a swamp in rainy season.
