- Finally got the 3 piece converted bbs style 42 wheels wrapped in some accelera tires. Threw some camber and managed to get fender to lip fitment all around when aired out on the airlift 3p. Let me know what y’all think of the fitment. Subscribe to follow the f80 and the other builds.

Bro thank you for not gate keeping the specs bro. Being new to the f80 platform I’ve been trying to get a fitment similar and every f80 guy has just ignored me lol holding specs is so lame

When I bought the faces from Russia they had caps on already, luckily they were blue

Love this setup bro!!, If you're ordering just the faces does the offset matter or does it change the look of them?
Offset is determined by the size of the barrel and lip only thing some faces have different than others is how concave they are. Some faces are meant to clear big brakes and others aren’t

LM-Rs are a great wheel, I don’t know the exact offset I ordered the fronts 19x9 3.5” lip 5.5” barrel and rears are 19x10 4” lip and 6” barrel

What size are those BBS caps? I thought the bbs centercap were bigger than the hole
I don’t know to be honest , the faces came with centers already when they came from Russia. Looks like a custom billet cap that sits flush in the center hole
@@CHUCKSNDUNKS Man im having hard time finding a BBS cap that fits Style42. The center bore is 74.1MM but none of BBS cap are made in that size
@@hj3716 yeah I bet man I tried looking I don’t see any the billet cap looks custom and the emblem is just a gel cap someone made not a legit cap just looks good on the wheel
Nice wheels. I've this oem 18" BBS style 42 on e39, if someone is interested they're for sale. Don't know if yours had and maybe overpainted but my faces have numbers around the center cap in front, they are oem RS744/745 and from inside they have oem Bmw part numbers, BBS stamp and offset as IS numbers.

@@gwapo3927 I bought the faces off someone in Russia because those were the only 18” ones I found then I had them built into three piece wheels with custom specs. Faces were about 1200 rebuild/refinish about 2700

It simply means the wheel originally was made as a 2 piece wheel. Meaning the face and the barrel it is bolted to. Then it was converted into a 3 piece wheel for custom wheel specs. Now it’s the face bolted to an inner barrel and the outer lip.

@@Nucleates usually done because someone wants custom specs and or wants to step the size up for example if the face is 17” but they want 18” wheels
@@CHUCKSNDUNKS got you I think I’m that boat as I was informed bbs is very restricted in sizes(17s,19s,20s) an bolt patterns they come in for the 3 pieces LM’s I’m looking at they told me that it comes in a 5x114.3 bolt pattern but I can run those wheels with an adaptive spacer but it wasn’t recommended on a newer car(2018 340i) does this sound about right to you? As I did want to run 18’’ wheel Appericste the feedback
@@Nucleates if you want specific specs your gonna pay for a rebuild anyways, and idk how bad a adapter is but it is un necessary you can find lm in 5x100
