It's like EA enjoys sucking the fun out of the game the pregnancy quests are the worst and this seems ridiculous to me.
And coincidentally pregnancy is the one thing players begged for.
So true. I literally missed on a pregnancy pack because i only had TWO mins left but it was two mins too late so i didnt get it. And i worked so hard on it. I cant afford to buy social points but i spin the sp flower and it still wasnt enough to win the pack. Im starting to hate this game and I've been playing for years!
I hate social points. They are so difficult to get.
They should make new ways for us to earn SP sincr they are using them on almost everything!

I HATE the tasks in the park that take like 100,000 simoleons and seem to be increasing in price each day
The prices are so cool but it’s like EA just keeps making these events more difficult and expensive so people will have to spend real money to buy sps, I understand that you gotta do what you gotta do but it’s ridiculous how hard these events are getting

I won’t even try to do this event. I wasted a lot of time, LP, simoleons and real money on a pregnancy event recently. I am used to not winning most prizes from events. I am happy seeing sims doing hobbies, work and weekly tasks.

I hate SimChase and I started the Japan one (big mistake) I’m not losing after coming this far (I’m almost won) but I’m never doing SimChase again

This is a difficult event...you quite literally wont be able to complete each episode BEFORE the rival without using SPs. And somehow magically the rival is completing tasks in less time than it takes you...
Believe it or not, you actually can if you plan well. My strategy is doing the tasks from the lowest time to the highest time, and that usually gets me the prize for that day. I've only ever done it once, though, and it seems to work.
@@faithmatthews4635 My comment was made on the first iteration of Sim Chase, over 2 years ago. Updates have been made to address the some of the problems (e.g. rival taking less time than you to complete a task). Now there is a slim chance that you can win. If you call that a win...

A pure money grab. 23 hours worth of tasks? I guess we’re not supposed to sleep. Oh right, they just want us to buy social points. How about EA/Firemonkeys make the cost of social points to speed up tasks align with the amount of time a task takes? That’s how LP works. Why should a task with 5 minutes left cost 9 SP to complete?
I had one day with 28 hrs and today 26 hrs....
I will never again spend real money on Freeplay. After the ridiculous prices the last months and now this event they are not getting my money any more. For instance....Asking €53 for an extra Sim is unbelievable?! That they have the nerve to do this to their players/fans!
Exactly!! I’ve been playing the game since it came out and I’ve only gotten to about 15 social points. I’ve restarted plenty of times but never reached more than 15 SP
I don’t know how people are going to be able to win! That’s a lot of time! And money!
They should make it easier and make it more fun! 😊

@@-gachalife5399 I've GOT a lot of neighbors. A neighbor has a house set up where I can do ALL the tasks, you get maybe 11 or 12 SP a day, even with timers set. You can "save up" SPs, but not enough for ALL OF these crap events they throw at us, even if you're picking and choosing which one you care about this MONTH.

I literally cannot play this game and it's quests anymore. I am broke AF, and all of these events make me waste all of my money. I have spent so much money and invested my time in this game, yet each time, I blow through all of it. I can't keep up. Now they want us to us SP?! The hardest currency to get? I'm not doing it. Not worth my time nor money for something so small

20 Sims is TOO much to have to do an event, that's literally all my adult Sims.
Also, there's a challenge for mastery that costs social points or hundreds of thousands of simoleans ??

I’m hoping you guys can complain on our behalf because I made it through till the last day being able to complete the tasks but by 30min into the day, the competing Sim was way over 1/2 completed. I wiped out all my SP and still no help. Extremely disappointed in EA Games for this... I just wanted the new outfits at the end.
The prizes are cool but also disappointed....it is not justified for the amount of work is required to complete chase event. If you look the the new packs in the online store , the release two new mothers day packs and two other exclusive furniture packs..like really.. those should have been included in the event prizes but no you have to pay with real money.
Thank you for this video. I love the idea of having something different then collecting crafts but I hope it won’t be hard and repetitive as pregnancies because social points are hard to get...

Today's mastery task (the day with an actual prize) was 28sp or over 800,000simoleons. I've been playing for years and play most of each day cause i'm disabled and even with all that even I couldn't do more than 3 or 4 days with these prices, but ok. The only people who get to get stuff from this are the people who play by cheating, or get stressed and pay. The people who can complete this legitimately SHOULD be proud, but events shouldn't be literally impossible for new people, and this one actually factually is.

Wow this is completely different from the other events. This is cool. But your right it looks difficult like the pregnancy event.
If you want to get the prize at the end you will need to have a boat load of social points. On the last day the rival sim goes really fast even when you have delayed her for an hour.
You vs a Robot (that does not : eat , sleep, watch TV , use the restroom, take a shower, go to school, go to work, go on a Vacation , need H2O , need Air , have a Birthday Party, and a Mom/Dad ) .
I started the quest yesterday so will I be able to finish it by the end of the event...

Does anyone know how long it takes to start a new season?
Help in before episode 2 started i spent a chase token and got the one that makes you rival stop for 30 minutes it automatically used it before the episode started will it be turned on when the next episode started ?
So if I have finished and I’m waiting for the next episode to be available, my rival sim will have to stop their task and wait too or do they continue while I’m waiting?
So my event on two different platforms for sims freeplay started with the rival on episode 3 and me on episode 1. Anyone have any idea what’s up with that? I’m finding it impossible to catch up to the rival. It just popped up on my screen as a thing I needed to do right now. No option to wait for later and out of the gate the rival was on episode three
How can i start it because i dont see it in the club

I can't figure this out? I have not played the Sims in a long time it started me at Season 10. I can't find the task list at all! I am confessed on this who thing. I did step 1 then I was unable to start the episode i am lost????

I'm on season 10, episode 7. I won 5 prizes so far. I'm exhausted. I had to spend so many Simoleons, and I have to build the stables. When will this end?

It said to start it and be ready by buying a woodworking bench and I did but nothing is happening. I even placed it down at my sims house and it is still not working.I am doing this in the month of May

Is there a way I can get more LP in cooking without complaining cooking challenge? I don’t think I completed. Not sure I’m on level 14.
I've done Season 15 and am now in the middle of Season 1 (for some reason) but the moment the mastery challenge went to 30,000, I was done! I don't care if my competitor beats me. The prizes aren't worth it anyway!

Are there any quests in Sims Freeplay that you don’t have to complete?
Guys, if you ever plan to do SimChase again, then follow this tip: Do the tasks from the lowest time to the highest time. It perfectly worked fine for me. I'm currently at Level 27 in the game, though, so I would assume it gets harder the higher your level is. I would still advise players to do this strategy, because it'll save you a lot of time in the long run.
Edit: I do use Social Points, but only when it's late at night for me and I have to go to bed.

I'm a bit upset about this challenge. First when other people are using 3 Sims for coffee I'm using 8 and pencils I have to use 12 and 12 for the rest of the group task why. I've been running about 8 hours ahead of the Challenger and I sit a timer at night so I can stay ahead but some how Challenger go over 8 hours ahead of me in two hours. And Everytime I have to go to the park it cost my something. I will not be finishing the game nor will I do another challenge.
I just started said i had 5 days but some bow I'm so far behind challenger so I guess I started late oh well I stop playing cause rarely do i finish challenge

Terrible quest, I am at home all day at the moment, and the first one was tricky, but the second 'season' was even harder, I got to the last day and the game just wouldn't respond, and I couldn't do any of the tasks so couldn't get the final prize even though I'd dropped social points all the way through. Also only won anything useful with the road block spins once. Didn't bother with season 3 at all.

It’s really annoying cuz I’m ahead of my rival and then while my sim is doing the task which takes like 5 hours and I’m asleep, by the time i wake up the rival has won the prize. It’s really annoying and you always have to spend money on SP or LP. 😕

Found it.. at the DIY, point at the palm tree and a prompt will appear. Or rather, on any tree near a home, and do this task as the last one.

I did not even have a chance to start! The computer goes so much faster than me. I feel like this is rigged.
I created a simchase house with everything the sims need to do to complete all the tasks needed it only cost me like 30 sp to buy a plot to buy one with simoleons is costing too much now, but actually buld the simchase house the extra floor levels and decoration cost me more simoleons than ever nearly took all my billion simoleons

Can I do several tasks at the same time with different sims or only the Sim i originally chose?
Only one task at a time, which any sim can do. However, some individual tasks are best complete with multiple sims at the same time, for example "make 6 cappucinos" or something like that.

It seems as if this game is getting more expensive every chance it gets. It’s kind of not fair, because you’re competing against bots who have the money and work 23 hours a day while we need to sleep and if we do sleep, our chasee will get ahead of us. It’s completely dumb since we spend so much simeleons to master something at a park which will go up as high as 100k dollars to pay for!!! And then you’ll have to buy simeleons with real money and pay for that lesson, but if you lose the chase challenge, none of it is worth it in the end :( also, you should be able to skip the day if your chasee won to make it more even, instead of leaving us behind and having to make us do the long tasks to catch up to the next check point but what do you know, the chasee is already heading to the next check point. So so disappointed in this game :(
how about we earn lp just like we earn the money? (i forget what there called) it’s so annoying. you either have to pay for it or just play the sims all day and TRY to get it as a prize. and that prize guy that shows up literally just gets my hopes up and then i won’t get anything good. and the things i get is something totally different then what i actually wanted. i love the game but after your done with having a baby and stuff like that your obviously going to be intimidated to make more sims which having that much sims is so hard to take care of unless you have a lot of lp. i’m afraid to even ask my parents to buy it for me because they’ve already bought me so much stuff and it will be a waist of money since i’ll waste it all in 5 minutes. and that’s also the problem. let’s say i bought 500 lp and i have about 4 quests to do and they all end around the same time.. (literally me right now) i will need TONS of lp to complete all of that in time. it’s either you just wait or spend all your money. i love the game but this is so frustrating-

Are you able to give feedback to the developers? If so, they need to know that these events are far too aggressive in their predatory microtransaction mechanics. You should be able to complete these events by actively playing the game without the need to purchase the £9.99 event boost or using SP speedups - they should only be there as a 'catch up' option. But someone that is setting timers, and logging back in as each action completes and starting the next one shouldn't be 'losing' to the rival sim.
Also - the mastery class tasks where you have to pay either simoleons or SP just to start the task is pretty dumb, especially given that the simoleon cost scales with you level... it wanted over 400k simoleons PER TASK to start it - that's ridiculous.
In some separate feedback to yourself as someone that is given early access and a content creator - next time can you actually test the system, especially if its something brand new, instead of just skipping all the tasks to show off the rewards? The tuning of these tasks is something that should have been brought to the attention of the devs before it went live.
We do give feedback and we have given feedback on this event, on prices in general, etc. We (and others) have specifically given negative feedback about the difficulty of this event and other events in the past. However, you overestimate both our influence and the timing of our access versions. They are usually pretty final, and all the pricing and difficulty levels have been well and truly decided for weeks if not months before we get to see anything. Even the bugs we catch often don’t have time to get fixed until after the update goes live.
But we always hope that feedback helps improve the game going forward. This is a good comment and we will communicate it to the developers as a helpful representation of how players are feeling - which, again, we have already been doing. Thank you.

I had a feeling that the version you were given was more like a 'press release hype builder' rather than an actual beta - but wasnt 100% so thought I would ask on the off chance.
I really hope firemonkeys take your feedback onboard and adjust things for next time. I enjoy playing the game and unlocking items. I've even spent IRL cash on stuff too... but I dont like being strongarmed into making purchases - and I just gave up on this event yesterday because it was clear I wouldnt be able to complete it without buying more SP or the 'boost'.
For now, im just gonna go back to farming simoleons - currently in the process of building that epic daycare centre you designed - just need the funds to make it so aha

Ugh I can’t believe I started the pregnancy event . Also dads should get recognition too. I hope they do this for Father’s Day. I don’t have a dad in real life and it’s hard .
Instead of square rooms all the time, the Sims FreePlay should do circular rooms and hexagon shaped rooms .. the house will be a beauty ..
But I have to ask, can I still do this event if I started my pregnancy event?
You should be able to do this at the same time as pregnancy since this is a limited time event. You can always start on the latest day possible to get the full 7 days - May 3 or 2 depending on your time zone 👍🏽
Make2 I live in Canada so I did start the pregnancy event on April 28. EST.
Can you tell me if I am correct with this event that since I am living in Toronto. Canada , will this event actually start today? April 29 for me as Australia is now 3:06am? Now is it adet or EST in Australia?
@@diariesofsureka8877 it is AEST. It is the 30th today in Australia so it should be whatever date you are today. Some of these events start at 9 or 10am AEST.
