    In this video, I’ll show you how I built a practical and fun two-in-one kitchen step stool for your toddler. This simple woodworking project is perfect for anyone who wants to involve their little ones in cooking and baking activities while keeping them safe and close by.
    But that's not all! The step stool also doubles as a table to sit and eat or work at. Your child will love having their own little table to play with and you'll love how easy it is to store away.
    Thanks for watching!

    The back brace to prevent child falling back, is it removable or does child have to sneak under it when they climb up?

    • @RangeWoodworking
      @RangeWoodworking  Před 9 měsíci

      It would be removable if you took the screws out, but my understanding is that kids are pretty flexible and sort of climbed around it. Some sort of hinged panel with a catch would be a good improvement though!

    Great vid and commentary. How do you find these builds in terms of effort/cost/profit and popularity? Would you trust pine rather than MDF, or is the alternative plywood?

      Thanks Dtram! This was a one off order for a friend and unfortunately this is still very much just a side hobby for me so I struggle to price things appropriately considering the time they take. Plus the extra time filming etc. I am going to make a collection of these using a plywood with laminate faces. I think that will be quicker and less messy.

    Great video!
    What thickness was the material you used?

    I am in the process of making something like this but made it out of 1/2 ply, I wanted to use wood inserts but I don’t think my material is thick enough. Do you think screws will hold up fine ?

    • @RangeWoodworking
      @RangeWoodworking  Před 11 měsíci

      Hard to say, I imagine it would be with good long screws. I built a small platform to test the strength of mine beforehand. If it could hold me, it could hold a child!
