And if they ever ship (highly doubtful) they DEFINITELY won't have red soles, Christian Louboutin will see to that. When I was a kid, every time there was election, my parents and their friends would get together at one of their houses to discuss the candidates and issues. When the discussions occurred at our house, I remember them as being very civil and, according to my parents, very informative. My parents and most of their friends are gone now, but I can't help but wonder what those discussions would be like these days....

Unfortunately, when you vote based on emotion and fear you are not going to be able to have civil conversation about the political climate, apparatus or policies.
I have seen family members walk away from each other over the current political climate. We cannot blame Social media for this either. We have control over what we consume just as we have the responsibility to ensure that the information that we share is factual and we are not lying to one another.
I believe Trump has made it socially acceptable to use fear, lies, and lawlessness to push a political agenda. Basically whatever it takes type of mentality so as long as you win.

The number is really bigger than that if you count 2015 GOP voters. In 2015, 33% of all voters were registered Republicans. Now that number is down to 27%. There are a lot of ' Republicans ' who are no longer registered Republican.

I think the documents case is the most important because it's the easiest to prove beyond a reasonable doubt; indeed, it could be proved beyond the _shadow_ of a doubt. Cannon knows this, which is what makes her complicit in Trump's crimes.
Just a reminder: Eugene McCarthy, a comparative unknown, came a respectable second to incumbent LBJ in the New Hampshire primary in 68. LBJ recognised he couldn't win the General Election if the Dems were divided, so he withdrew for the sake of his party. I cannot imagine Trump doing likewise. He doesn't care about his party's overall success in November, but cares only for his personal sense of grievance.
The support for Trump has only grown so why would he quit? He’s won primary after primary. The man is going through a lot to run again. Before he ran he had never been charged with anything now he’s got more charges than Al Capone. More than those on Epstein’s client list too despite trafficking kids.

And on that point, Republicans that didn’t vote for Trump didn’t do so because of some minor policy differences; not like, say, a Republican picking McCain over Romney. No, with Trump, if you didn’t vote for him, it’s likely that you detest the guy on character and integrity grounds. And to top it off, Trump insults Haley, almost guaranteeing that her supporters will never vote for him in a general election.

I don't disagree with that, but Democrats will vote for Biden if he is not their ideal candidate. A significant number of Republicans are not voting for Trump, under any circumstances. The election will probably be narrow like last time, and people on the right sitting it out will be fatal for Trump.
The problem is, Trump is delusional enough to think he doesn't need those people, or moderates, or independent. He thinks getting 30% of the country to vote for him is enough. It won't be. And as he goes further and further off the rails, this won't get any better before November.

Mr Melber is actually wrong in his last statement of this video. What matters is not just who is in the lead when the time runs out (ie. the votes have been cast), but who then gets to count those votes and to certify the results and to implement those results. If enough people (in State Legislatures, Governor's mansions, Congress, and perhaps even the US Supreme Court) can be persuaded or intimidated into 'finding' the right number of extra votes for a certain candidate, or disqualifying or discounting the votes from enough people in certain demographic groups or geographical areas, or to recognise phoney 'electors', or even just to throw out the results and appoint their preferred candidate, then it may not matter so much who gets the most votes.
