- "My Talk Show" was a 1990 attempt to update "Fernwood 2Night" , featuring Housewife Jennifer Bass (Cynthia Stevenson) who's local Talk Show broadcast out of her house is picked up for national syndication. The show lasted one season, and Stevenson went on to play Bob Newhart's daughter in "Bob!" (The one in which he's a cartoonist.)

Yup, I used to dig this show -- always wanted to like it more than I did, but i watched every ep, probably because i had a serious crush on Cynthia Stevenson! Love the commercials being in here too!

@deckard97 Yeah. It really jumped the shark then. I didn't even like the neighbor when she would show up on occasion in the original setup. She added nothing to the show but annoyance. And you know, I haven't seen the lady that played Ann-Marie in anything else. Probably with good reason. Pissed me off when Jennifer Batts (Cynthia Stevenson) left.

When I was a kid I had a huge crush on that actress, but I couldn't tell anyone or they would tease me on it. I loved her sooo much. So when she left the show right before my very eyes, I was sad for a week.
Yeah, she is so pretty, when I watch these re-runs I go into fetal position.

@deckard97 yeah I remember when that happened too. I HATED when the original people left. Could not stand the annoying neighbor "Ann-Marie Snelling"! I stopped watching altogether after Cynthia Stevenson and the original crew left. It sucked after that.
