You guys that do this kind of work, I swear you are geniuses! Give you a piece of metal and a couple tools and you can build anything. Love your video, extremely cool to watch. :)
Kp
Thanks for your Nice comment bro !
I said the same thing about this guy a brilliant mind for inventing new things Idk how he comes up with so many different things.
It is perfect idea but no one has watch the video because it takes 24 min. Normally it takes not more than 10 min.

Why must everyone add music to their videos? Most of us click on these expecting to hear just the natural sounds of a craftsman doing a job. But instead we're met with ANOTHER music video.... which, imo, ruins the experience.
Yes your right I MUTE THEM!!!
Aewww,shut up

good comment, I add music in some of my videos but at a much lower level over large spans of time between direct interaction with the camera. so you would rather just hear the sounds of the project? what if the video is sped up? do you prefer no background music then either?

Uvek krasne ideje i iznenadjenja koje pomognu izabrati i odgovarajuci alat .A i uraditi neki dobar posao.Komplimenti Deki umiverzalan si i ujedno jedinstven.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That’s great.
Now I’m thinking I might do the same, but change the design to a male thread at the top of the cylinder so that I can thread on whatever custom attachments for different jobs as they come up and make a threaded adapter for the bearing/gear puller.
Thanks for sharing!
Nice build, would be good for for any workshop!!!, Thank You for Sharing Your Work
I'm glad YT has a volume knob ;)
But other than that, great vid.
👏👍
buen trabajo amigo felicitaciones Saludos desde mi Cali Colombia
He weld's everything with an arc welder, that's impressive.
🤣@13:50 The oil? bottle - sneaking up for the kill! Great Video!
It's such a pleasure to see a "DIY-er" put stuff together using BASIC SHOP TOOLS. Just a drill press, grinder, welder, etc. Good camera/editing skills too! Thanks for the inspiration!
I would suggest a battery powered addon, add 20v battery, worm gear transfer and use crank to convert it to rotation in order to pump the piston.
Also, maybe add springs to the pullers so they would try to return towards center on their own, making it easier to operate.
This is genius and I'll definitely be making one. Already have the large puller and bottle jack!
Muito criativo , ótima ferramenta para oficina. Brasil.
Wow u must be magical because last time I checked bottle Jack's don't work sideways.
You REALLY did a good job perfect bearing puller there are other ways but you made it really easy
👍😊 Thanks
Muito bom, excelente criação.
Parabéns
Thanks
This is extremely useful for all of the people who've made “infinite power” generators, such as the Liberty Engine, and various others. The bearings on their devices have been stated to fail every 6 months.
Mine been going 7 years strong now it's my flux compacitors I am more worried about
Or you could just use a regular puller and a hammer this is a good idea though probably for bigger gears and stuff I wonder if there's already one out there somewhere
Small to big hydraulic pullers have been around for over 50 years now, and all far stronger than that one as their purpose built…..we made up a rectangular frame out of 50X50X4 mm angle drill 2 holes in to match wheel studs, then use a standard small bottle jack in its side to pull wagon brake drums off….cars and vans too…
That was totally ingenious what I don’t understand is the infusion tube is it blocked off completely or is it left open at the end
I think the original puller that dismantle to attach to the jack is much easiest way to use to pull out the bearing from the shafting of the rotor.

Agree but he would not have gotten 3.6 million views.
Not worth the effort as if you had a motor on the bench like that it would be easy enough to replace and putting a jack out of use.
Nagyszeru
Thank you for the ingenious idea, I am sure having just the hydraulic jack getting teared a part was useful for many here
You Welcome my frend 😉👍
Yes I like the mod with the hose, but I don't understand how it still works in the upright configuration.
WOW that was the coolest thing i've seen in a long time. you just invented a cool thing and just made millions congratulations. good job.
Thanks a lot for your comment bro ...

@@MrDKDIY- LOL they sale them at harbor freight.
I love the idea, but it's an awful lot of stuff to have to fumble with on top of the weight of the hydraulic cylinder it is kinda ungainly, also the center of the puller usually has a centering cone shape to center in the end of the shaft that the pulley or bearing is pressed onto to help keep it centered while working the puller, but I definitely like the concept 👍

Thank you for the idea! I work in a wastewater plant and motors go all the time and getting the impeller off is murder! Have been looking for a much easier way and thanks to you I found it
They sell actual purpose made ones
Harbor freight has cheap pullers and bottle jacks too!
That's great!
Now my new project!!
wonderful idea. Can I purchase it, as I don't have any workshop facility?
I love your videos. They're really cool and interesting. I just hate all the ads. You can barely go a minute without an ad showing up.
Nice job there thank you education pays off
Nice homemade version of what Harbor Freight sells for around 60-70 bucks(w/o coupon), Just a but bulkier than the store bought model! Great ingenuity here- neccesity is the mother of invention, and if you need to get something done, the mothers teet must be suckled from time to time!

I don’t like the back ground music too loud. What he did is great 👍
Awesome video Brother!!!!!💯💯💯💯💯
👏👏👍
Cool, so how did you press the bearing back on? Just curious
very cool, got a few spare jacks lined up for the job.
Harika bir proje :) Serum hortumunun zamanla çıkma durumu? Kalıcı bir çözüm bulunmalı ama
Could convert to air-hydralic instead manually pumps? Liked connecting air hose.
This is the best free software Ive seen. Respect.
Excelente gracias x compartir tus ideas geniales 👍
This kinda set up would be slick for doing ball joints which I know would be great
Excelente trabalho !!!
Excelente gracias por darnos herramientas prácticas pa mejorar nuestro trabajo
Finger-tightening the retaining bolts on the puller legs for a frictional position hold will make setting them onto the bearing a heck of a lot less fiddly. also, a horseshoe shaped washer with a center opening just small enough to catch the inner race of the bearing will aid in removing it in reuseable condition, if you're working in volume with a given shaft diameter & such a thing would be of use. Or - simply alter the flanges to fit on it.

Thank you sir Namaste I look fom Kathmandu Nepal
👍👍
Muy ingenioso muy buena idea hermano bendiciones
The music and everything makes me think of those late night ads for "as seen on tv" and just after he shows you can pull berings and is about to show the upside down feature I hear in my head "But wait, there's more!" Giving me that same feeling I had when the ads were still good and actually showed the product at work. "Man, I sure am glad that I bought one of those!" "If I had not seen Mr. DK's advertisement, I would not have been able to pull those pesky berings in my vaccum to repair it easily. Thanks Mr. DK!"
suggest a small notch below claw on the outside to attach a rubber band around all 3 to help keep claw assembly closed and hands free. 😉👍
Slicker then snot. Thank You
That is actually a practical tool to have on the bench.
Great for light duty pulling.
Bravo, smart head and golden hands. It was very interesting to watch.
Thanks a lot my bro 👍👏😉
Ingenious, well done. A good watch. Thanks
Thanks
Love your video. from vietnam
Nice job its good idea amazing from philippines 10 16 2020 any name of spray and for what that for
Thanks 👍👍👏
Interesting, but what is really gained? Yes it adjusts quickly, but weight of cylinder still makes is a bit clumsy.
Very interesting idea, fun to watch. Do you think those small welds are strong enough to survive a hard pull? You might need a second ring of steel, just a thick large washer, to distribute the load and increase the weld surface area.
I was thinking about the strength of them also. I suppose a steel one-piece would be do-able if a lathe was available.
If someone wants to make this with out altering the jack [ non-invert], then make a plate to fit over the ram. Attach the pivot lugs to the plate with arms long enough to reach/fit/clamp to the base .
This concept is Great, not everyone wants to alter their jack so much.
Pullers have a rating and too much hydraulic pressure can break the puller. Nice to be able to replace parts easily.
Would be nice to see a portable remote ram with lugs on sides of cylinder to mount removable pullers of various sizes.
Nice Idea.
Honestly I think it still works as a jack. But the size of it dont look like its going to lift 2 tons and if it did not very far.
I would have welded a threaded pipe end and then weld a nut to the jaw side so that you can remove and use jack for multi purpose. Maybe you can make a video of it too. XD.
Going to try on my spare car jack. Thanks for the great idea.
AWESOME. and thanks. Are you selling them ???? At what price ?????
Rosolfo Vicente d Guatemala
Muy buena felicitacioned👍
That's really a great idea thank you.
Nice...good job.will make one.👍
Magnífico!
magnificent
Awesome!!
Muito bom mesmo
We used a ram off old trolley jack. Works on it's side
Top video.
Whenever I see this kind of video, I feel bad that I do not even have a basic bench or a space in which to use it.
Apartment / flat life is bad from that point of view.
Liked. Sub'd.
Good idea, there's even actual pullers like that, at my workplace my co worker was using one, but it slipped even properly mounted and he's a really good mechanic, and it bounced out with a huge force and broke his arm, so definitely a good idea but don't save money in the wrong place imo
Exactly, safety wise, use the right tool for the job!
I like your ingenuity, but I have a couple of questions/concerns. First, by welding your tabs to just the large nut that holds everything together, you are putting a lot of stress on those threads. You could potentially on a hard pull strip the threads and that nut right off.
I like the idea of re-arranging the pickup tube on the hydraulic cylinder for inverted use, but how is it still able to work in an upright position?
The tube is still below the fluid level no matter if upside down or normal
I use bottle jacks horizontally all of the time, without modification.
@@tvdinner325 So do those roll around floor jacks. As long as the pump is below the fluid level, there's no problem.
@@lewis2553 Yup! I use them to push out accident damage, horizontally, all the time.
@@tvdinner325 likewise
Excelente idea saludos desde Barranquilla Colombia.
Thank you my friend
This is smart idea so I give this videos a thumbs up but would a regular bearing puller tool would do the exact same thing?
You haven't yet run into a bearing and you couldn't get off? These things are pretty slick and time saving. You're fighting that rusted on bearing or spun on bearing You can try a regular puller but
You try to tighten down that bolt as you're fighting that bearing and I've seen him strip out what time you put a good impact wrench on them. This way you're pretty much save your part and save yourself a lot of agony and grief.
awesome tool
Nice job its good idea ...Thanks
👍😉
Great idea 👍
Nice build, would be good for pulling wheel bearings and frozen brake drums.
What glue system did you use ? I see your not telling .
I am thinking JB weld will do it with slow cure time.
oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii amigo moro no brasil muito bom trabalho parabéns meu like
Awesome video
Recently replaced the front hub wheel bearings on my 2011 dodge ram pick up. Those suckers were tough too sau the least. Your invention sould have done the job so much faster and without the use of a 10lb sledge hammer and a tool called the "bearing buster" , risking damage to other parts of the front end. I am certain I will use your idea, customize to my application of course! Thanks for the creative genus...
If the hydraulic jack has been inverted, how can it pump oil in its original position?
Very clever, very clever!
Best job also finishing is perfect keep it up. My wishes.
Cool idea and video except for the kajillion ads
great idea, I wanna make 2 lg,so, but do you think the ends could get magnetized ?
Thnx
@@MrDKDIY you should go get a paton on that to invent now
Wow! Very nice trick!! I like it. Great job!
👍👏
Great idea but i would like to know how you weld this steel pieces to that cast iron nut on the jack
