About this channel: Welcome to my channel. I'm Amber Smith. My husband Granger and I live on a little farm in central Texas with lots of animals and our beautiful, super funny kiddos. We have London, Lincoln, River (who is now with Jesus) and Maverick. This channel is a spin off of our family vlog The Smiths.
I started Arise, when we lost our son, to share my feelings of loss, grief, love, hope, parenting and my faith journey along the way. We comb through scripture, I share what the Lord puts on my heart, I answer questions and more. My hope through Arise is that something I say makes you want to seek Jesus. He changed my life and my heart when I was in my 30s and I've been sharing the good news ever since.

What blessing it was to hear this message this morning. As some of you know I loss my dad last month and then my sister was attempting to place mom in a home but wasn't moving quickly enough for the state so I came to VA to pack mom up and move her to SC with me. Yes she needs to be in a facility but I will be choosing where she goes and not the state. A lot of legalities need to be tended to, and I know at least one family member will be mad when they get cut off financially, but mom's money is to take care of mom and not to support another's bad habits. Traveling to SC today once I finish packing up so travel mercies are appreciated.
We're continuing to pray for you and your family.
Your faith, after such a loss, has and will touch so many! So thankful for the gift of salvation.
His Grace has come and is the Salvation of ALL People. Rejoice in the suffering, it's nothing to his Glory to come. His Word will NEVER pass away. 😊🙏♥️

Picking out a casket and clothes is grueling and something no momma should ever have to do. But with God's help, mercy, and strength we can do anything! Thank you again and God bless ❤️

I've been there with the people that I love betrayed me and walked out of my life, lost close loved ones, lost the job, lost my home and recieved multiple diagnoses over the years and recently more severe/life threatening ones. What has gotten me through all of it and continues to is my faith in Jesus. It's not easy but we're not promised easy we're promised that He'll be with us. With Him I've got joy that has surprised so many including drs and nurses during my most recent hospitalization. When we keep going to Him in all of our circumstances He reminds us of all of our blessings even in the storms. I'm so thankful for that. It doesn't mean that I've not cried from the pain both physical and emotional but He sustains me and gets me through all of it. I've learned that God is good all the time not just when things go our way. He knows what is best, His ways are higher than ours and He'll work it all out for our good, His glory and His Kingdom

I had Joy and real deep sorrow at the same time 12/26/2009. I knew my wife would be healed ( she(Linda)) was only 51 but due to onset juvenile diabetics since 1970 at 12 years old. Her body was starting to fall apart than she became deadly sick. She came down with 100% staff pneumonia, coma & stomach tube. 2-3 nights before she passed on God loved me enough to grant me a dream 2x that night. Linda told me she needed my permission to go with Jesus. Of course I gave her that permission to go with Jesus. She is completely healed in Heaven. I’ll see her again

How do you choose joy when your husband of 51 years is dying of cancer and you’ve had a stroke and can’t help your husband or yourself. You can’t afford your home after he dies. No life insurance or wills. Your family has abandoned you when you need them the most. I am a Christian but where is God now. It’s too much. Please pray for us.
Give it to God don't turn away from him now. I will add you to my prayers I hope you fight this battle with God.
