About this channel: Welcome to my channel. I'm Amber Smith. My husband Granger and I live on a little farm in central Texas with lots of animals and our beautiful, super funny kiddos. We have London, Lincoln, River (who is now with Jesus) and Maverick. This channel is a spin off of our family vlog The Smiths.
I started Arise, when we lost our son, to share my feelings of loss, grief, love, hope, parenting and my faith journey along the way. We comb through scripture, I share what the Lord puts on my heart, I answer questions and more. My hope through Arise is that something I say makes you want to seek Jesus. He changed my life and my heart when I was in my 30s and I've been sharing the good news ever since.

Jesus is our living hope. Jesus paid it all he took on all our sin and set us free. Resurrection Sunday is the best day ever. Thank you Jesus for saving me.

He is risen. Lord Jesus please give me strength. I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. Jesus hear my prayers and please continue to give me strength.

The worst day in human history was the best day for us. Friday and Saturday may seem dark and hopeless, but Sunday is coming. If breaking our hearts led us to Him, then we need to thank Him for our broken hearts. I know there were so many more great reminders in today's message, but these are the ones that jumped out to me. Thank you, Amber! Whenever I think about the fact Jesus died on that cross for my sins it brings me to tears. I am reminded on a daily basis that without Him my life would be hopeless and so empty. He is my strength and I am so grateful He has saved me from utter despair.

CT SCAN UPDATE!! I ask y'all to please continue to pray for me. I had my doctor's appointment this week for the CT scan. I was told that I have a tumor on my left temperal lobe, they didn't tell me the size, they just said that they caught it early enough that they are going to try medication first which is some kind of steroid that starts now (I have the medication) and have an appointment with a Neurosurgeon in June. Thank you in advance. Happy Easter! God Bless.

Good morning Amber and everyone! Romans 5:3-5 "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." I just came out of an 11 day hospital stay very sick and still a long road ahead. Like you talked about in the video Amber we have the living hope that we hold onto and that has gotten me through my life and through the last 11 days. I continually shared my faith while in the hospital whether with roommates encouraging them in their faith (those that are beliveres) telling them I'm praying for them, visitors to the others there or the staff I talked to while there. I had a porter who took me back to my room after my MRI who saw that I had my phone with an earbud in and asked me what I was listening to. That opened up the conversation where I shared that I was listening to worship music and shared my faith knowing that no matter the outcome Jesus is going to be with me as He always has been and that He will give me the strength to carry on. I also shared that if it's within His will then I'll get through and if not then I'm not afraid because I know that I'll see Him in glory and what a glorious day that will be. She was wowed by my faith and that all the pain and suffering that I'm going through and that I still have faith and hope is amazing. I thank Jesus for the sanctification process and the previous trials and sufferings that have helped to build all of this to this point and this that will help to continue to grow in me. Still a long road ahead and I dont' know how it will go physically but rest in Him to either get through it or home to Him however He so chooses.
