- Making a DIY busy board or a sensory board for my 2 year old son. It took me half a day to put it together and here is a video of that compressed into 3 minutes. Enjoy! :)

Thank you!! I am happy to know my video had a good impact like that :) God bless you and family as well!
👍🏻 Awesome! A loving Father and what a great learning tool for a toddler.
Thank you SZ!
I can see my daughter playing with this for hours. But enough talk to the workshop!!!😁
Amazing. Very creative. What a wonderful do it yourself birthday gift. The baby will never forget that present.
Thank you Lee! Heheh it will be hard to forget with there being a video of it now :)
Little one figured out everything on there faster than I could ... Lol ... Great project Jay ...
Thank you Eddy! :)
That's genius! So creative. A busy box was my sons favorite, I think it will be your little one's as well.

It sure does :) Thank you for the comment!
Awesome. Can't wait to get my started. Got a bunch of those doorstop a springy doinky things. This is going to be awesome
Great fun for a little guy. My kids loved busy toys
It sure is! :) How many kids do you have Alan? Sounds like they are all grown up now.
4 And 14 grandchildren
@Alan Jackson Oh wow! 14 grandchildren. Christmas must be exciting! :) I think that's wonderful that you have a big family like that!
Wonderful thank you for your time your little boy is very smart.
God bless your family.
Thank you! God bless you and family as well!
What a great 👍 idea. Imagination station. Your son is learning how mechanical things work. Nice 👍
Thank you Mr. Classic! He has been enjoying it so far :)
Word of Advice TV,
Why can’t trees time-travel?
Because time travel petrifies them
@@classic287 Haa :) It's a scary experience indeed!
This made me feel like a kid again. Very awesome!!

It is now my mission to do this for my autistic nephew. 👨👦💞 Thank you!
You're a great human, Jay!
Why thank you! :) You are a wonderful human as well!
Best video I’ve seen all month!! 👍🏾

This is so amazing! Wonderful idea and project!
Thank you! :)
Awesome idea! God bless you and your fam
Thank you Giovanni! God bless you and family as well!
Thank you brother!
I'd rethink teaching tots to open locks. At two my son could slide the chain open with a broomstick and unlatch his car seat buckle.
Oh boy.. That's a good point. I did try to avoid using any type of locks that we have in our house though. Thank you for the warning!
I am expecting my second grandchild this summer, hoping for a boy. This is a great idea!
Congratulations on grandchild #2 Susie!! Regardless, boy or girl, I am sure both would love a busy board!
Although I think this wonderful interactive toy is for toddlers and oldest, now you have a great idea to give a birthday present to your grandson when he turns 1 year old.
Looks awesome! Our little guy is a couple months older and would love something hands on like that.
Yeah, he's really enjoying it! :) Looks like you may have found yourself a project to do! (they sell them but they're pretty expensive)
I love it!! What’s great idea. 👏
This is adorable 😊.
DO YOU KNOW HOW FREAKING AWESOME THIS IS!!!!???? I LOVEEEEEEEEE
Headed to Lowes neowwww! Thank you!
Haha I love the enthusiasm!! Good luck with your board!! 👍👍👍👍
Very cool!!!I'm gonna have to do this..
Great idea and creative!
Thank you Stephen! :)
Wow so cool! love it!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Careful of the small choke hazards. Overall very cute!
That's really cool!
Glad you liked it! Thank you!
There is a son Cats in the Cradle with the words My boy was just like me. Well I think he is going to follow his dad's foot steps.
just awesome
Love it
Am the only person who noticed he spelled smash the like button like MASH the like button?
Very nice
Your assistant made it happen , I only have one question... who had more fun:
The builder
The assistant
The “little guy “
....
Or me.
...
Thanks
I would like to say the "little guy" :) But hopefully everyone involved had fun as well! ;)
Great idea thanks! What size board did you use and what size screws?
Glad you liked it! The board was 3 feet by 2 feet but you can make it any size. I used different sized screws for different components, it also depends on how thick your board will be.
beautiful beautiful concept. 1:11 if the hinges were hitting it may look more finished.
Thank you! Yeah.. I could have made it better if I gave some more thought before starting on it
Very nice and inspiring! Could you give me the measurements for the board itself? And what is it made of?
Amazing!!! Great parents! What’s the dimension of your board? And can I know where you purchased them?
Genius
Hell yeah
Is thAt your little one? congrats!
That is indeed my little guy! Because of the COPPA law and all of that I didn't show his face. Which is too bad since he was full of grins and laughs..
I like 👍 this
Can anyone tell me if they made this and where they got the tubing? Making it now for our 1 year old grandsons christmas gift. Tried Home Depot, Ace hardware and Amazon can't find the tubing. HELP PLEASE
Классная доска.👍
very cool Jay our children dont know how to tie there shoes maybe one more thing great job.
Thanks Stephen! :)
What is the size of the wooden board you're using?
Where did you find that mountable fidget spinner?
That is a regular fidget spinner. The center caps come off and there is a hole in the middle. I simply screwed it to the board.
What did you use for the hose?
That is a flexible EZ-FLO pvc pipe that you should be able to find at any hardware store by the PVC pipes.
Hi. May i know whats ur board size measurement?
Hi. What kind of wood is the board
To be honest I don't remember... I went to Home Depot and bought the first board I saw 😄 I made sure not to get pressed wood though.
классная игрушка , пусть мальчик развивается 🤩
Thank you! :)
Where did you find the wooden board?
Home Depot. 👍
smart. he will be fixing furnaces by 3
Hahaha I like that! :) Thank you!
what is an estimate of the cost of this project?
Around $100 for me. I bought most of the things at a thrift shop though, otherwise it would probably be more.
how much you spend for total?😱
Probably under 80 bucks. I got quite a few things from a thrift store. Of course anything at a hardware store is more expensive.
@@WordofAdviceTV you’re awesome 👏 Thanks for your share!
That took you hours to make and he stopped playing with it after 30-40 minutes lol that’s my kids at least
Haha yeah, that is usually the case.. But he has been playing with it for a couple hours a day for the last 3 days now so things look promising! We are thinking of putting it away for a week and then take it out for 3 days again, then put it away again and keep rotating like that. This rotation idea works with other toys so it should work with this one too. ;)
Word of Advice TV great ideas 💡
Que pelotitas son pesadito
You are a awesome daddy..
love your videos but ugly
carpet
bro
I agree!! I already had everything laid out on it when it finally dawned on me that the rug is not very good looking. At that point I didn't want to deal with it and just proceeded with the video.
