- SHOCKER is back! The new NPK Shocker built by Larry Jeffers is done, and here's your first look! We picked it up today to finish up wiring, plumbing etc and will have more videos coming soon! I'm glad shocker still lives, I'm also glad no one was really hurt in the accident. For me, Gen 3s hold a special place in my family. Mom brought me home in her 82' 5 speed.

That scoop ruins what could be a bad ass car but I can’t take it seriously with the big black pregnant banana laying on the hood like that, 🍌🤣, sorry man, just my opinion but never have liked big scoops like that, reminds me of the old matchbox cars that always had excessively large scoops, rear quarter flares, rear ends jAcked up with rear bumper 4’ off the pavement , not to mention the extra drag your putting on the car by grabbing huge CFMs of air out of nowhere and force feeding the hungry hippo. That scoop creates enough drag that you’ll need two extra kits of Daddy Musi’s love potion #9 just to compensate for the extra drag so it just doesn’t make sense to me why in today’s technology when we have the ability to make the same power or more as what this car will turn and keep it all under a factory hood, yet a handful of guys want to stay stuck in the late 50s thru 70s technology. Oh well, if they can make it work and prove me wrong great, but so far hey haven’t been able too but we’ll see how it all goes after the July break.

The nitrous cars need a scoop
The engine gets a ram air effect down track, This is one of the nicer looking ones I’ve seen
I do agree a SS style hood would look better ala the OG SHOCKER

Hopefully this will help you get around Ryan I know yall been working your tails off going as fast as you can. It looks sic. I love it. Hoping I'll be able to got to Ennis this year to see it in person. I was at the KY race and got to see Showstopper. I'm always for NOLA. Good luck

You where always my favorite racer on S.O. The shocker is my favorite car because my first car growing up was a silver 87 camaro z28 with a 350 4 bolt mainframe. Miss that car.
Show stopper is a absolute beast but Kye Kelley and a 3rd gen is the essence of what loved about seeing him dominate. Can’t wait to see the Shocker and “nobody out 60 foots me” again!! Would love some vids of it being finished up along with the first test hits…love the content
