I’ve learned so much from your channel .. thank you for passing on this wisdom of quality made in a world long gone. You’re a real treasure yourself!
My adult girls are learning how not to pay full price !
I love how you call the display case, Treasure Island! 😂
Love your great knowledge and not dismissing clear glass. Truly amazing all you know, and love the time you take to explain the background to the pieces you show.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. Greetings from our home in Germany! 🇩🇪
I saw that southern living at home dress me up plate. I gave all mine away and look everywhere for one to replace!
Hobby Lobby had one years ago. Bet you could find on eBay.
Well even though you didn't end up with the Waterford - it was so fun to see - and I love the chinozerie plates you found.
Le Creauset at that price?? Amazing! Wish I lived nearer. Thought of you just now as I watched a video of a Houston restaurant! X
You must visit Houston. We could enjoy steaks at Taste of Texas. 🥩
@@LadyMaryBeth oh, that would be fun…and the next day I would make you that Indian curry x
@@chrissiewalker8980 That is a plan!
Enjoyed your shopping trip so much. Thank you for all the information. 👍💕
I have a pink vase like the purple one you showed, it was made in Poland, works well for long stemmed cut flowers. Good prices.
What a great goodwill! Mine is serious junk. 😁
Hopefully, there are charity resale shops in your area.
I went to the Goodwill store while I was waiting for my table at Taste of Texas. It's a pretty good one!
And the Texas Quail Bites were divine!!!!!!
I love shopping this goodwill! There’s always something fun on the shelves!
Love your dress!!
Thank you,🥰 I enjoyed watching and learning. I have a full house. I need to clear out some of my stuff, I love these things as much as you do.🥰
Great opportunity to gift these items!
Another great video! Thank you Lady Mary Beth. ❤
I do so wish our local Goodwill was ANYTHING like those you visit! My Mother was born and raised in Oklahoma. For a time when she was single and older she worked in Dallas for one of the well known wealthier families there as a caregiver for children. Their name escapes me. She enjoyed that period of her life very much. I wish she had been interested in visiting shops like those you frequent but she had divested herself of her elegant things of that nature and enjoyed traveling the area visiting family when she had free time.
Found a great piece today thanks to your lessons on looking underneath !!! Love and Light from Amsterdam Holland ✨🌷
Happy to hear! Howdy from Texas! ❤️
Thank you!!❤❤❤
So many Pretty items, especially the Purple Vase 💜 It's shaped like a ribbon 🥰💜 Thank You for Sharing 💜
I love that Kate Spade Tote - so refreshing and what a bargain at $20. It would look so gorgeous with blue/white outfits. ❤👜
Good Evening Lady Mary Beth 🙋♀️ Lots of nice items, always enjoy the videos 😊❤

That goodwill is one minute from my sons house. I’ll have to go
It’s the busiest Goodwill, with lots of bargains. Things sell fast. Go often!
I enjoy having my tea and watching you on Sunday mornings. Thanks for sharing all of your knowledge. A Waterford fan since 1984.
Thanks for including me in your morning tea time! 🫖 ☕️
That was fun! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much! 😘
Thanks for another adventure. Amazing finds. Be safe and have a blessed day. 👍
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead. 😘
Very good I'm sure some of us could donate and upgrade something I enjoy doing to make room and clear space
Hi Mary Beth. I like how you come up with multiple ideas for the pieces. I've a query. In the intro, just after you feed the deer, what is the crystal piece? Though I've tried and tried I can't quite make it out. Thanks!
It’s the Waterford Kennedy Bowl. On the 17th March 1961, the Ambassador of Ireland, Thomas J. Kiernan, presented President Kennedy with an arrangement of shamrocks in a Waterford Crystal Oval Bowl at the White House. The Oval Bowl, then became known as the Kennedy Bowl. 🍀
Fun fact: I love watching your intro every time! On most CZcams videos with intros I usually fast forward. Always Love watching yours❤❤
@@michelleseveney9113 Aww, thanks so much!
Thank you
Thanks for watching!
I predicted what you were going to find! I wonder why? 😊 keep your videos coming!
I missed the Waterford by about a minute. 😩
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I went through my purses to pare it down. Well, I was only able to part with one. 😢
Completely understand! 😂
Whatnot has really changed the glass world. Alot of less than perfect glass goes through buy also alot of good art glass that just has to sell, and can't hold on a shelf,
Last month I bought a 150$ signed piece in a very competitive bid war(33bids) but it was a 1000$piece
The Cheers to ice bucket was my favorite! Will you be going to any estate sales this summer? Thank you for another fun and interesting video.
Planning on an estate sale. Waiting for a good one!
@@LadyMaryBeth Ok, of course will be watching!
Oh,lovely Lady Mary Beth!
You always look so stunning, but I digress, lest I ramble on and on!
That glass rose,it is incredible,what a masterpiece!
The blue and white porce, smooth ware,is it called?
I am a mudlark,I find pieces of this in the Thames river.
This is the art of the shard.
And yes, beautiful jewelry can be made from this!
I pride myself in finding incredible Staffordshire slipware shards, they look like confections!
Last night,I prepared a salad of sorts,sliced some cured Chorizo,cucumbers,Bleu cheese,and olives,which I cured myself.
But here’s the kicker:
I sliced all these ingredients using a 2 thousand year old Roman knife!
Aww,thank you for ❤️ing my comment!
I daydream of holding your hand.
Truly,I do!

Your appreciation of good back stamps adds a nice touch to your videos. Thank you!
Thanks! Thinking of having China Baroque make me a backstamp bracelet. That is how much I appreciate the beautiful logos and designs.
The queen royal from Safeway in 1965 and 66
Glad to know this! Grocery stores had great marketing with dishes. They graced many tables. 🍽️
I saw those hard rock hurricane glasses at my goodwill.. yesterday 3 states away from Texas, I wonder if they disbursed them to different goodwill? Hmm🤔
Strange coincidence. 🤔
I have a question about Hoare American Brilliant cut glass, I don't know anything about it. I'm not on Facebook or other websites so could get on your other sites. Thank you. Gave a good weekend.
American Brilliant cut glass debuted in 1876 at the Centennial Exhibition in Pennsylvania. A society hostess embraced this new glass and it became popular. Skilled artisans immigrants from Europe contributed to the techniques and wheel-faceting of glass designs. It was made through about 1920. Pieces are heavy, thick, and have deep cuts over most of the surface area. Have discussed this in a recent segment at High Street Antiques in the Dallas area. Lots of examples shown.
Love your videos! I am also a Houston thrifter. Do you know how the colors run at GoodWills? Like what color is coming the next week.
Houston Goodwill stores do not share their sale calendar. Can tell you that all inventory is moved to the outlet stores after the color of the week ends. Then, it's a frenzy at the bins. Have you been? It's not for the faint of heart.
Yes I have been and you're right, its not for the faint of heart but I find some really good stuff there sometimes!@@LadyMaryBeth
Bought six Royal Brierley Ascot Hock glasses for $72.00 ($21.99 sale price on Replacements.) Using two of them for a gift to go with a Silver Swizzle Stick - perfect condition, hallmarked at Birmingham Assay Office in 1957. Although they are 7.5” tall, the bowl is more of a coupé shape than rounded. Did research and it seems widely acceptable nowadays to use coupé glasses as cocktail glasses. What do you think?
I think anything goes with beverage glasses. They can also be used for desserts. Royal Brierley is a lovely crystal brand. You got a good deal on the hock wines.
Thank you. With your sage advice feel comfortable giving the gift and I now have four cocktail/dessert glasses. Wouldn’t have been too much of a hardship having six dessert glasses!!
I gave that small le creuset baking dish in red to my mother and it was the perfect size for 1.. she loved it. It easily fits a piece of chicken or beef and potato and carrot. She said it baked up so nicely. ❤
Great idea with cooking for one. 💙
