Yeah, I kinda felt Specimen 11 missing, since he is a HD Renovation Exclusive in Hellgate chase of Dollhouse DLC.

that would have been the perfect final line for him, it's a shame he never got one. Although it would have been a bit weird to hear him speak. All we've ever heard from him vocally is his laugh.

Imagine if these 3 monsters (and the others) were more difficult in Endless Mode (faster [EM S4/S8] or teleports almost instantly to the player if you look away [S6]). That would be insane
you know, I actually prefer Specimen 6 here. He's more like a weeping angel, since if you look away for just a split second, he moves closer, as opposed to the main game where it takes more than a second for him to move closer. I don't like the fact that he disappears and teleports here though, the same way he does in HD. I think that was a mistake. But I guess Kira wanted to increase the difficulty a tad more, especially since he does very little damage.
@@TheSpookyKing Although there is no life regeneration, I find it a shame that the monsters do so little damage. They should have made the monsters do 20-25% damage per hit. That would have been more challenging
@@TheSpookyKing ringu's death screen shows a room with a TV showing a picture of what I assume is the inside of a stomach, which I also assume that the player's in her stomach

I know this video is old but it’s so weird seeing gameplay from ringu when I’m used to seeing the food demon- His chase was hard yet fun- since the rooms were pretty complicated sometimes and you coudnt see where the doors were you’d straight up miss them at times- and then the part where you needed to go through the fun tunnel while he was chasing you- that shit was cool
I love how for specimen 4 (Ringu), they made the halls more like the large hallways you would find in any school, when you were going to like.. The nurse or something. One thing I didn't like was how the screeching were repeating the exact same. I feel like these screeches could be randomly generated.
Specimen 8 (Deer Lord) felt like a refresher of "This deer ripoff guy is actually dangerous, wow" to me. How the deer get added really impresses me, and I just generally favor the Deer Lord for its design renovated or not. I did realize it took practically one strike to knock the deer down, and if they are the children of the Deer Lord, I would expect them to have more strength. Possibly more lore to the deer, as yes, there can be possibilities to it. That's more of a Dark Deception fantasy of mine that I wish, though.
Specimen 6.. Oh my god. I need to-.. Is that- Yes, those children are being hung. What the fresh hell.. That's a major add-on, _deer_ god. The gameplay here, besides those kids, impresses me more. Hate to diss Ben the Merchant, but he's really not the best specimen out there. The chase theme, though, it's great. It probably convinces people at least sometimes that the chase is over, when it's really not.
In all, Ringu is a mommy with issues, Deer Lord is a daddy with issues, and Ben the Merchant is a large, annoying, wooden _birch_ .

unfortunately ben probably has the easiest chase here considering you still have the axe, and it is shown to work on specimens. you just have to wait for him to drop down then hit him with the axe and hes done for the rest of the room
ringu most likely is the hardest chase. decently fast + the visual impairment

In HD Ringu is replaced with Food Demon and it’s actual pain

Specimen 11 works way better for one of the specimens to be chased by than 4 tbh

@@FatCatAshesyeah but having 4 appear so that her new form shows up canonically is also epic and shows how twisted even the specimens are becoming - it's a nice way to tell the player that they have to end this
@TotherKoala that's nothing new that's just an endless mode monster I wouldn't call it a twisted transformation
Specimen hellgate processes:
Specimen 4 (Ringu): nothing much, but the only thing that sums up the process is the entire area is a maze.
Specimen 8 (Deer Lord): this one is fairly simple. All you have to do is keep running through the path, killing any minor enemies (or the other deer) along the way.
Specimen 6(Ben the Merchant): this one looks strongly similar to specimen 4’s process, but with a twist: eventually, you will find this room with a button in the center and 4 doors awaiting you. You must lure specimen 6 onto the button so you can enter the pathway to the hell crystal.
That's so cool! I love the references of each Specimen on every chase! Like Specimen 8's wall texture when you meet him and his deers, Specimen 6's meeting room on his final room to go to HELLGATE, and more! So cool!

Would have had a legit asthma attack if I were you. Especially when specimen 4 is chasing
my mouse actually got stuck for a second there and I couldn't move. For some reason it locks up sometimes, especially when playing this DLC. Not sure why. But I was in a bit of panic because of it.

At the end of Ringu’s chase she says あなたを呪います, closer along the lines of “curse you”. Just a minor error there.

I sure hope so! 1000 subs is my goal, so that way I can interact with everyone and provide video updates. Would be awesome to reach that goal, but it has been a struggle so far!
8 is _so_ much better in HD. It's interesting how one change can cause such a dramatic shift in both gameplay and spookiness.
Also 6's changes make him a full-on threat rather than Peanut minus blinking.
EDIT: I forgot that 4 and 6 at least have unique death screens/text.

There's more than just those 3 to choose from btw. You can get Specimen 11 "The Food Demon" too. Also could you show the deaths? I haven't seen any of them yet & I've been told Ben The Marchant's one is pretty good {it's not the eyeball scene from the original I was told he had a new 'poem' that explains his character a bit more}

Nice video! It's kind of more unnerving that Specimen has no quote at all, isn't it huh, which one do you think is the easiest? The hardest? Did you go with Ringu on your first run? She got a nice new kill screen! Although luckily HD has 11 in her place, it would probably be hell with HD Ringu
yeah, it would have been nice for Specimen 6 to say something, but all he knows how to do is laugh. And I don't think his laugh means anything other than "I want to poke out your eyeballs." So yeah. I can understand why only Specimens 4 and 8 have quotes.
To me, I found Specimen 4 the easiest, and Specimen 8 the hardest, but not really by much. Each were fairly easy to me. The only reason I found Specimen 8 the hardest is due to the amount of damage he does here, and the fact his deer children can get in the way. But it's still not too bad, especially if you are more familiar with these new room layouts.
I actually have a video showing Specimen 4's death screen! You can find it in my "All Deaths in The Doll House" video from several months ago. All three of these specimens have new death screens, which is pretty neat! And yes, I'm kinda glad HD replaced Ringu with Specimen 11, because we all know how outrageous her chase is in HD. I plan to make a video showing all Hellgate chases in HD's Dollhouse as well sometime in the future.
@@TheSpookyKing Yeah, noticed you struggled a little with 8, honestly the last part was pretty dark, it was hard for me to understand the layout at some points haha, and yeah, I think I remember that video, but couldn't remember if Ringu was there as well

@@ashimochi on second thought, maybe I'll just upload Specimen 11's chase only, since 6 and 8's chases are pretty mediocre and honestly I can't stand looking at 6's model in HD. So I think that might be a video for a few days from now! I agree 100%, 11's chase looks pretty cool, and it's by far the best one of HD's Dollhouse!

@@TheSpookyKing Honestly I feel like uploading all of them would be better for archive purposes but it isn't really necessary as it's more than anything a model change, while 11's chase is entirely new. I'd say go for all if you really wanna bother but it's not necessary at all, 11's chase alone would suffice
@@ashimochi I probably will just do 11's chase only, as it's unique to HD. 6 and 8's are pretty lackluster as I mentioned, and quite a downgrade from OG, especially since they don't have any quotes in HD sadly, or at least to my knowledge.

Voice line idea for when Ben the merchant is dragged into the hell gate: "my children will be avenged" referencing his origin story and his hell gate chase deathscreen

I plan to make a video exclusive to Specimen 11's HD chase sometime very soon. This video was meant to be exclusive the "The Doll House" DLC. And as we both know, HD's Dollhouse is quite different!
I mainly wanted to make this video in response to several people wanting to see the rest of the chases after Markiplier played the DLC recently, as well as include the quotes from both Specimen 4 and 8 after closing the Hellgate.
