DAKOTA LITHIUM BATTERY MONITOR | VICTRON ENERGY

Installed a new battery monitor for my Dakota Lithium Battery on the Pelican Bass Raider 10e. This battery powers both a front and back trolling motor at times along with my Lowrance Hook fish finder. The Smart Battery Sense from Victron Energy was easy to install and connects via Bluetooth to my phone. Check out the video. Fish on!

I will be interested to see how much juice I use on a normal trip with either one or two trolling motors running and sometimes the Lowrance. Fish on!

I looks like a great idea for an inexpensive price. It looks like it’ll do the job.
Do you have any issues with battery life on your phone? I had a battery box on my old marine battery and it had a battery life meter but also USB port to charge my phone.
I’m looking forward to seeing you catch some Bass. We are headed to camp near a small body of water that doesn’t allow motors so I’m taking an inflatable kayak. I’ll send pics if I get lucky. Thanks for the video. Fish on!!!

I don't have issues with battery life on the phone. I suppose my trips are short enough and normally in the AM so fresh cellphone battery. Pouring rain again today so no fishing but I'll be getting out a ton over the next 2 months. Good luck at camp. Hope you get some and please share some pics if you do. Thanks for watching and Fish on!
