a tip for you to help your pigeons get into the closure would be add a small cage to the side and put them in that way. instead of opening the main door.
Or add a man trap to the cage.

Why don`t you make an Access door in your Pigeon Loft so you can put them through it without opening the door .
Add a 45 degree four inch PVC elbow pipe with a landing board makes a good entry.
Love these pigeon vids, man. Why don't you put in a small access door so that the birds can be put in without them escaping? I'd recommend a 4 inch diameter PVC pipe facing 45 degrees down into the loft.

The ferals don't need buckets, they just need ledges and perches to sit on. The buckets are for breeding, and I don't think you're planning on holding the ferals long enough to breed?

Bob, have to make a small box or cage on the side of the loft. With a door going to the inside. That way you can put the new ones in and open the door to let them in. Makes life easier.

They don’t burn it to make it look cool. Charring the wood gives it a water repellent layer. The cool look is just a bonus.

bobby guy, need to make a flap door on the outside so you can open the flap door and and small cage door from outside and don’t have to go inside and risk losing any feral pigeons!! hope you trap some more soon, love watching the pigeon trapping videos!!

Just a tip they recommend 2 square ft per pigeon per loft just FYI when trying to decide how many birds you can hold in your loft!! Love the content

Where did you buy the traps
Cut a small entry gate on the feral side just big enough for your cage. then the new birds you catch you can just put the cage against the hole and open the transportation pen and let them in with the other birds. Hope that makes sense lol, might help limit some sneaking by you opening the big door. enjoy the videos been subscribed for about 3 years now!

Suggestion: Put in a trap door into the wild bird loft so you wont accidently release anymore birds.

Well , why don't you make a "door so from outside, you push them in and the door is made identical as your trap door.. this way, you will put them one by one without even opening the big door..
On the feral side, put an extra door and short short passage way so you go in, close the first door. Then if a bird gets out of the loft itll stay in the passage way
I think you need to make a little door for them where you can put them and no need to open the big door so they will not accidentally escape. 😊

Dude!!! Just saw you lose one of the wild trapped pigeons. You could easily add a heavier weight hinged door in the middle of your pigeon house door maybe attached with some small keyring loops so then you just take the pigeons out of the trapping containers and stick them through the hinged door one by one. You would never even have to go in there! You could also just put a little leash clip on the bottom of the hinge door to the existing chicken wire when you're done to guarantee that it would never open accidentally........🤷🤷🤷

I raise ferals and if you keep them locked up for about 4 weeks and they like the loft, they will come back. You may want to put sides on the loft to keep wind and snow out.

Have you ever tried to trap at the dairy? I have permission at a dairy but just dont know if there is way to much food there to be effective.
I think the lofts should be separated. Life 20 feet apart. They will give sickness to your pet birds. Even being separated with mesh
