- I purchased this rifle for the upcoming Quigley Shoot this June. I know almost nothing about the rifle, perhaps some viewers can tell me something about the rifle. It has no markings at all, other than B Derwick 1994 stamped into the barrel under the fore end and 40-65 WCF at the chamber. The rifle came with 100 new unprimed Starline 40-65 WCF brass, a bullet mold, 80 cast bullets, a lovely aperture tang sight and accompanying front sight with interchangeable inserts. The rifle also has a beautiful Fecker scope, 6x, with two other objective lens - I expect 4x and 8x.
Good morning Mark, Glad to see you back. She is a beauty. Looks like someones one of a kind build ? Love the Fecker scope also. Best of luck on the Quigley adventure, it is sure to be one of those events that one never forgets. Best regards....Doc
That is a gorgeous rifle. So many aspects to enjoy. Stunning rifle.
Nice rifle.
That is a beautiful rifle
What an excellent rifle, thanks for showing. I load a 40-65 for my sons rifle and it does real well with a 400gr Lyman snover bullet and IMR 4895 powder. That has real good ES when you get it up to slightly over 1500fps
Hi Mark, thank you for watching my video today March 22. I laughed at your comment and it disappeared. Just wanted you to know.
Very nice looking rifle, I don't know anything about black powder other than a whitneyville walker 44 cal i had back in the mid 70s, I think hogdon would be a good choice, do you plan to remove the scope and use iron sights? Best of luck 😎👍🇺🇸
That is sweeeeeeeeeeet!!!
