Hearing that bus driver story all I can picture is the school bus driver from South Park "Sit down and shut up!"
I am living for the picture of Craig working at Test Track in the thumbnail
I feel bad for the guy in the thumbnail with the title worst cast member right underneath him lmao
hopelovestyler it's Craig
Sven Wouters I know I was making a joke lol
once my sister had an awful allergic reaction to disney world food and she had to get in an ambulance behind splash mountain and we went to the hospital. they asked us what our favorite disney stuff was and when we got back to our room they had all our favorite characters and a signed photo of all of them.
i'm like 95% sure my boyfriend and i encountered the singing bus driver on our last trip...
keep this series going as the balance between best and worst is amazing
As a former bus driver for disney, I find this hilarious because fort wilderness drivers are generally the most tenured...the fort is really hard to bid for so the drivers have been there for several years
I’ve never had a bad experience with cast members. Thank goodness. Guest on the other hand............ha. Well that’s a another story.
Meg Willsher right? some guests can be so rude
If they ever do a show asking people to write in with their "bad guest experience" they will have so much entries they will need to do a top 50 or something
I enjoy when you guys do these videos about the good and bad
I adore Pete. More than is probably appropriate. (He is “radio” gold.) And I love Steve Porter and trust his opinion explicitly. HOWEVER, I am straight-up in love with Sean.
There, I said it. Deal.
Right? His polite, Irish gay dude attempts to not "read" people are total GENIUS. I see those eye rolls, handsome. You are sending out your messages to ground control.
We love Disney Cast Members. We had only one horrible encounter with a member of their security team at the entrance to Hollywood Studios. After telling our story to several other cast members we were assured someone would be losing their job that day. We all got unlimited fast passes to every ride that day at that park.
Loved the show again! Totally respect your opinion on Yacht Club, Pete! HOWEVER, please come and visit again soon and see how you go. I worked at both Yacht and Beach resorts this summer and there are some world class cast members at Yacht, who made me super proud as a fellow cast member and as a guest ❤
My bad experience isn’t nearly as dramatic, just personal. I was with my mom on our first time to Disney in over 20 years so for me it felt new all over again. We were in the Morocco Pavilion and I didn’t know Jasmine and Aladdin had a meet and greet there. We were in the shop and I happened to see them through a window in one of the doors and I was so excited to take a picture. In the middle of doing so, in between families switching out, the cast member who stands with them in the blue shirts opened the door, put his hand in front of my phone, and said no picture, no picture. The line is back there and slammed the door shut and stood directly in front of the window. I’m not gonna lie, I was crushed. My Disney high faded for the rest of the day. Jasmine and Aladdin made up for it though later in our trip, I was in another shop across from Carpets of Aladdin and again, didn’t know they had a meet n greet, when suddenly the doors opened and they came out through the “market” and I think they saw how excited I was and they played around just for a few seconds in the store, trying on hats and such and let me take pictures. It really made my day.
Great episode. Would LOVE for you guys to do a "7 in 7" series like you did several years ago; staying in various resorts and doing in-depth reviews of them. Disney AND Universal hotels would be great. Found those sooooo interesting and informative. Thanks, guys!
I’m just here for that Craig Test Track thumbnail.
$10 says he still has the music from that queue stuck in his head.
Ashley Bernstein me too. I laughed so hard when I saw that thumbnail.
I've stayed at Yacht Club, and Pete is right. The service is Sub par for a Deluxe, I've had way better service at Riverside or even back in the day, Pop Century. Most cast members at Yacht Club act like you are interfering in their day, but always say have a magical day, or enjoy your stay, in a smartass manner
I think we had the bus driver from #2 after the hoop-de-do review october last year. She didnt use her phone whilst driving if i remember but she did sing. Whilst funny and entertaining we did feel it had a creepy undertone and that she might drive off the beaten path for us to be found in a ditch the next day,lol
I've been going to Disney for about 18 years and I've only ever had one bad experience with a cast member. My family and I had planned on going to Whispering Canyon and we actually had a reservation, but there was a large group of us so they couldn't get us all at tables close together so the hostess said it would be around an hour and a half wait if we wanted tables close together. My aunt went up to check and the hostess actually sat her, my uncle, and my two cousins, but not the rest of our group. When we went to the hostess to see what the problem was, she answered in the most dismissive tone possible saying that she "couldn't do anything to help us."
Love this channel guys. Was wondering if u can report on the best places to stand in parks for fireworks, especially in magic kingdom
And parades
Shout out to Craig working at Test Track in the thumbnail!
Hi I had the best cast members I was at Epcot 1996 I believe and I was off on my own when I had an asthma attack the jump on to action didn't have my inhaler on I know very dumb but one of them knew what to do they went and got me a soda to drink and soon was breathing easier I wish I knew their names they are my personal Heros
Great job guys!
We had the worst experience at Port Orleans. Not only were our rooms filthy and dusty the resort itself was dirty.
There was a melted Mickey ice cream bar on the sidewalk the entire 5 days we were there. And then on the last day
my husband came down with a fever of 102* could barely stand and our flight home wasn't till 3pm. I asked for a late
check out so he could stay in bed and rest and they told me no we had to check out by 11am. I kept explaining the
situation to the front desk employees (3 of them) and they all refused to let him stay in the room. And one even suggested
he leave now because they might have to do extra cleaning!
Same here. The only negative interactions we have had are with the bus drivers. Not all are bad. Some are really great.
NOOOOOOOO.......Pete....My family and I are coming next week to stay at the Yacht Club for the entire Thanksgiving week. I am so bummed to hear you say this. I'm worried now about my choice in resort. Love you guys! I will let you know how our stay goes. Hopefully it is a good one, fingers crossed!!! I watch you guys almost daily!!!
The story about the singing bus driver had us fall-on-the-floor laughing. Honestly, I think I should start riding the busses again.
I have had the same thing happen to me with Saratoga Springs denying my late check-out despite my wife being in the room dealing with major health issues and waiting to go back to the hospital. I was willing to even pay for another night to have the room until 3pm. Young women at the desk just kept saying sorry it was a weekend of a race and they needed the room.
The bus thing must be an increasingly common thing-i was on the last bus from MK to the AKL in July. I swear to God, if we had gone round the corners any quicker id have flown out of the window.
I needed a medication while on a Disney trip that I didn't have access to - they went above and beyond to contact my pharmacy for me, fill my prescription, and even deliver it to my room!! It took a huge weight off my shoulders and made what could've been a difficult week much, much easier. I cannot believe a woman whose mother was on the verge of death was not accommodated at all!!! Especially when even for the smallest of things (like what I've experienced) they are so quick to help and make things as easy as possible! I should also note I was staying at All Star Movies - not even a luxury resort, yet they were so kind and helpful. They always have been. One of the best things about Disney hands down for me is just the quality of service you receive everywhere you go. So sad to think what this woman went through, when they could have easily done so many things to make this experience, if even just a little bit, easier for her to go through.
I’m sure you guys know this but DME / DCL drivers aren’t actually cast members they work for a contractor specifically Mears transportation group. I drove for them two years. On wedding charters beer runs are actually pretty common, doing it on a airport run is pretty heinous though.
I work in public transit and i have to say the 1st story is nothing new as that happens here too. Good news is we have cameras on our buses that trigger whenever a driver brakes too hard or turns a corner too sharp. When that happens, the driver gets pulled upstairs to provide a good explanation for such while reviewing the camera. If the driver doesn't provide such, they get sent back to training. However, I didn't notice that technology on WDW buses, which surprises me for a company made of billions of dollars. The 2nd story, on the other hand, I've never seen happen here before. Most of the annoying singing comes from the passengers, as opposed to the drivers.
man i have gone to disney all my life and its so sad for that to happen to people.
aww i love tina the singing bus driver, we loved her, yes she does sing and yes her voice isn’t the best haha, but she’s really sweet and funny, her narration of fort wilderness was awesome, she belongs as a jungle cruise skipper honestly
Please keep doing these
college program busses are insane one jumped a median and hit an SUV while I was there in 2014 and another was late to pick us up for an event because it hit a parked golf cart at what was then still disney springs
Wow I hold the yacht club very near and dear to my heart ....but haven’t stayed there in 12 years . I had one of the most magical experiences or perks happen for our family there. When we were checking in the resort our
We were told our room wasn’t ready so they told us there was a room available on concierge level and we could have that !!!!!! The really really lucky or wired thing is this exact same thing happened to us the next year at wilderness lodge !!!! Those were the only 2 yrs we booked through AAA.....I often wondered if there was a mix up through them , but , who cares what happened when u get a concierge room without paying for it !!!!
I'm still laughing 😂 the wildest ride I the wilderness he ha 😂
@disney once a driver holmost fell asleep my dad got up and started talking to him so he would not fall of sleep. He went of the lances multiple times!!!!
Finally been waiting for this!
I enjoy the worsts because they is a lot of tea😂
I agree with Pete that the good far outweigh the bad. Compared to most employees in the recreation and tourist industry Disney is still the best and handles most issues with compassion and professionalism.
I’ve been on a bus like that before (at home). Roughly jerked up & hit my head on the ceiling!
How was #2 a bus driver?! *smh*
#1 makes me sick.
I would have loved a crazed bus ride like #3!
The bus fiasco was insane!!! OMG!!!
That ride sounds fun wish I was on it I can't stop laughing
This is reinforcing my preference of renting a car when I’m down there.
HAHAHAHA! That second story!
please do a show on cast member recovery.
99.999% of the time the Disney Cast Members are always the absolute best. I have far too many stories about how great they’ve treated me and my family and the “Over and Above” service we’ve received. Every once in a while they have a bad day. Everyone does. Our family encountered a Cast Members bad day a few years ago at a Candlelight Processional diner at Chefs de France. We had made reservations at 6:00pm for a 8:30pm show thinking we would have plenty of time to get to the show. We were actually seated about 10 minuets early. Then we met the waitress from hell. Actually form somewhere in France. The hostess always advise the wait staff we’re on a show package but we reminded her just incase. Then we didn’t see her again for 20 minuets. We had to ask other wait staff to refill our drinks and take our order. It took forever to get our food. Our apps showed up with our meal. My wife’s meal wasn’t correct and our waitress was so slow it took over 2 hours to eat. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t like to rush though meals but on a diner package 1 1/2 hours should be plenty of time to eat. She didn’t check on us, never refilled our drinks or take used dishes away. We were constantly having to ask other staff to help us. The time it took us to eat was solely based on our waitress disappearing. I’m not a complainer but I had to say something this time. We hadn’t received our check and we were very late so I approached the manager. If you ever ate there you might remember him. He was always very nice but he look very mean. Like...Gangster mean. His name was John Michael I believe and and he immediately took care of our issue. He gave me a card and asked us to take it to guest relations as we exited the park. I saw him scolding our waitress as we ran out of the restaurant. After the show we went to guest relations. He had called them and advised we might be stopping by. We were given a free meal voucher for our entire family (spent at Jiko!!!) and each of us were given card with 3 additional FastPasses on them. Later we received a note in the mail from the manager apologizing for the problem. I felt like The Disney staff went way out of there way to rectify the situation. That’s why we always go back to WDW...Because 99.999% of the time the Cast Members and service are fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
There isnt a Disney bus in existence that could give a seated bus passenger whiplash upon takeoff
Not sure but I heard that the buses are third party at Disneyworld, so that might have something to do with the drivers not caring.
Worst experience of mine was a cast member in Its Tough to Be a Bug stuck chewing gum on the back of my coat because I had a lights on my shoes that I couldn't turn off when she asked. (I was a lot younger then, hence the light up shoes). But so many great experiences!!!
We used Uber several times in August. We had nice drivers an d didn’t have to stand on a bus!
1:00 I guess the woman wanted to play fast and furious lol
But it sounds a lot better than that Stupidcharged ride at Universal!
I really wished they picked mine because my story was one of the worst moments I had at Disney World.
WEll thank goodness that person's mother made it though.
I'm a truck driver. It is against DOT regulations to even touch your phone while operating a commercial vehicle. She should not only lose her job, but her license as well. Disney should not "cover for her" or tolerate that illegal and dangerous behavior. And saying you need to sing to keep yourself awake or alert? That's no joke either! If you haven't had proper rest you have no business driving a bus. Would you want your airplane pilot saying he's tired and hopefully stays awake?
What the heck is going on at 1:45 AM on the Disney Busses.
we have been to disney world many times and all the cast members were wonderful. many of the guests were complete idiots, not the people that work there!
IS THAT BABY CRAIG IN THE ICON PHOTO
I'm surprised that no one got up and talked to the bus driver to stop what they're doing? Could anyone walk and talk? Yes! Especially when safety is involved? Yeah the bus driver was stupid, but so is sitting there and watching it happen!
I don't believe the bus one. That totalllllly happened
a demon on wheels, honey**************lol
All I ever hear is negative cast members. I guess good cast members are the norm so people have to rant about bad ones and never mention the good. Always gotta see the 1% negative and ignore the 99% positive
Brian Riven I guess you didn’t listen to “Top 4 Best Cast Member Experiences” from a week or two ago. There are some great experiences that they share. They just have them on separate shows. They also shared that information at the beginning of this program. 😊🕊🌈❤️
Kathleen Lirette yes but the subreddit and forums are flooded with them
Brian Riven I apologize, I didn’t realize that was where you were seeing this info.
Tokyo Disney Resort and Hong Kong Disneyland have the BEST cast members in the world....HANDS DOWN!
Can someone please edit out Sean's nose whistle in videos?! Love you guys, but it's driving me insane, lol
These seem pretty minor, mostly about bus drivers. I've never had a bad cast member experience.
Haha Pete
Go stay at all star sports or Caribbean beach if the yacht club is so terrible
Y'all I have a solution. Rent the golf cart at fort wilderness
Bus driver #2 is very brave to sing in public.
One time our bus was a hour wait and everybody was asleep on the benches waiting
Meyeth 442 that happened to me also except it was noon, mid- June. We waited an hour in 90 degrees weather.
Tip for people who want to go to wdw: don't take the bus
Btw never been there
Top Three worst guest experiences.
I prefer watching the BEST cast member experiences. Maybe it's just me.
The late checkout thing wasn't really an issue. Not sure how saying "Have a magical day" is rude. People are dumb
Cast members they nice at Disneyland resort in Anaheim California one's in Walt Disney world are rode
Lauri Carlson how..
What did they "rode" on
Wait till you get in Disneyland Paris!
Just glad they know how to spell
sldorhout1 Disneyland Paris wasn’t that bad actually. I went over the summer and the cast members were very nice to me and my sister
stayed at yacht club, wife was looking for ice machine, asking a lady from housekeeping ,,she turned to my wife and said i no speak english.. ....thats ridiculous for the money you pay to stay there..will not be going back..
danny Last ehh that’s not really a good reason for getting upset. What are you expecting from a person who doesn’t speak English? It’s not as if she was rude or didn’t answer.
Good. More rooms for my family at Yacht and Beach Club ;)
danny Last I agree with you. All cast members and employees in general, should be able to speak enough English to at least pass someone on to another person that could assist. At least your wife could come back to the room and call for assistance also.
MAGman159 it should be a requirement. If you work in the United States 🇺🇸, you should be able to speak enough English to assist someone, or help them find assistance.
precisely....
